Hotels near Dongxi Lane in Guilin

My family of three loved this hotel. It looks exactly like the pictures. It was such a beautiful peaceful place to return to each night. We appreciated the coffee available in the seating area. It's located right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. City ebikes and bicycles were within walking distance too. If we return to Guilin, we will definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy and location was extremely close to the main shopping district. We had a very friendly guy by the name of xiao shou help us and provide us great recommendations.

I would like to extend a special thank you to staff members at the front desk, Mia and Dong Dong, during my recent stay. Their dedication to ensuring my comfort and satisfaction was truly exceptional. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor made my experience at the hotel even more memorable. I am grateful for their outstanding service and look forward to returing to the Guilin Holiday Inn Express in the future, knowing that I will be in good hands.

The location is excellent, wolk to food court in 10 seconds (from hotel lobby). Room is clean and tidy, staff are helpful. Near night market, within 10 minutes walk, also close to viewpoint, you may walk there in 25 minutes.

Our stay at Guilin Central Palace Hotel was exceptionally satisfying. We booked a king size room and was spacious. Breakfast and afternoon tea time came with many selections that were amazing delicious! Staff was always very helpful. We will book again to stay in Guilin next time.

Our room had a magnificent view of the Li River. The sightseeing spots in Guilin City were all in walkable distance of the hotel. The breakfast had a good amount of variety and you can even get the typical Guilin Rice Noodles if you want. The service was over the top (everyone was super friendly and attentive). If you have any questions the staff replies to your messages within minutes. We were asked if the breakfast is alright or if they should prepare a more western one for us. They probably also saw our bin filled with empty water bottles and provided us 1.5L bottles for free 😂 Will most certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would also come myself again!

Bo Yin Hotel (Li River Secluded Hotel) Our visit to Guilin was to spend time with my wife’s large family and we twice stayed at the Li River Secluded hotel, for a total of 7 nights. Our expectations of a hotel experience are high, so we avoid using American chain hotels when possible. The Li River Secluded hotel more than met those expectations by combining exceptional customer service with a laid back, but luxurious guest experience. On arrival, we were offered a room upgrade. The upgrade accommodation was located on the ground floor, so this did not appeal to us until we were shown the room … the suite was spacious and tastefully furnished with a Zen motif that included a ceremonial tea table. Both my wife and I practice daily yoga, so the ample floor space immediately appealed to us. A room-width picture window featured a view of the Li River Lake and its pair of pagodas. Remote-controlled drapes and shears sound-proofed and eliminated light from the room when closed. A buffet daily breakfast on the 8th (top) floor was included and featured a good selection of both Chinese and Western options. We had family commitments that prevented us from eating dinner at the restaurant, but my wife hosted an afternoon tea session in the restaurant for some of her friends and the tea and pastries were excellent. In addition, fresh fruit was placed in the room every day, and the room refrigerator was refreshed daily with water, sodas, and snacks. The hotel was generally maintained in pristine condition and effected the highest standards of cleanliness. This applied to all the facilities apart from a small exercise room on the 5th floor. This consisted of a set of barbells (no bench), a fixed weight station (functional), and 2 treadmills, neither of which functioned properly … that said, I did use the weight station and the patio outside of the exercise room for yoga on a couple warmer days. There was also a guest laundry on the 5th floor which my wife used on one occasion. The customer service attitude in Chinese hotels is generally an improvement on what we are accustomed to in North America, but at the Bo Yin Hotel it’s exceptional. This means that English language speakers (I’m Canadian and my wife is Chinese by birth) would experience no problem in addressing any of the front desk, maid, or restaurant personnel. For those who prefer to order take-out food, a robotic delivery service is used, a feature that tends to fascinate any child you might be traveling with. Sean Bennett

The location of the hotel is next to the Li River🏞️🏞️ To go to East and West Alley, walk for about 20 minutes (over the Jiefang Bridge) This is a warm homestay with complete facilities, and the attitude of the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic! Help us order boat tickets and remind us of the attractions there! 🤭 Stayed for two nights, booked a balcony soaking room, the room was very comfortable Downstairs of the homestay is an internet celebrity cafe, the coffee is very good! There are two cats! There is a group of energetic young people! Give a big thumbs up! I also received a gift when I checked out (their dried papaya and chili sauce are delicious, I bought them separately!)

Guilin Trip was amazing! The Gangshe Hotel (Guilin Two Rivers and Four Lakes Xiangshan Scenic Spot) is within the city where you can find around the famouse Guilin Food and choose the best food you can see --- located just at the side of the hotel - the busy street foods, big and small restaurant, shopping mall, near to the Guilin river trip, to the park, and if you are foreigner like me who still love Mc Donalds and/or KFC but alaso love street food, its around the hotel. The hotel service was nice! they know I am foreigner and they take care the communcation with mix Chinese- English. One of the hotel staff added my wechat and we can talk in translated English - Chinese, which is awesome. They have free tea / coffee from 2:30 to 4 PM, it was nice Latte coffee blended with Chinese snacks. My room is a single bed, enough for a solo DIY traveller's with all the comfortable facilities needed to live comfortably. I suppsoed to believe that the view outside the window is the Elephant trunk or Elephan Hill as seen on the trip.com website, its about 10 minutes away by taxi + traffic. I spend the whole afternoon trekking in the elephant hill, explaining what about the stabbed elephant mountain hahaha. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Guilin Station Yiyi Hotel; about 25 minutes to Guilin North Station Hotel; and about 45 minutes to Guilin Liangjiang International Airport-Hotel. 🥂The viewing restaurant has an excellent view of Elephant Trunk Mountain and the Sun and Moon Twin Towers. It has a 270-degree ultra-wide outdoor terrace with a view of the sunrise and sunset. It is located on the 6th floor of the hotel.
