The room is very spacious, the supplies are clean, the bathroom is very spacious, the breakfast is on the 22nd floor, the view is very pleasant, and the food variety is also very complete. There are few surrounding facilities, but you can order takeout.

Stayed one night during transit at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. The hotel is 3 subway stops away from the airport and about 10 minutes walk from the subway exit. The room is newly decorated. The room I stayed in faces the street, so there is a little noise at night, but my sleep quality is not affected. I would like to thank the lady in the restaurant. Because I was catching an early flight, I went downstairs at 6 o'clock and wanted to pack a breakfast (breakfast starts at 6:30). The lady packed fried dough sticks, fried meat, yogurt and pickles for me without all the food. Before leaving, she asked me if it was enough. Through a few words with the lady, I felt that she is a warm-hearted person who brings warmth to everyone on the road. Next time I have a chance to go to Hangzhou again, I will go to Starway Hotel again for the lady!

義蓬老字號，20多年歷史的酒店了，按照棋牌房角度來説。200不到，一張1.5的，一張1.2的，棋牌房挺大，對於打一天的來説，性價比挺高的，打完還能湊合睡一下，比去棋牌室打一天便宜，當然了多人茶水是別想了。不過時間久了，設施比較老，自行斟酌，不過最近在裝修翻新

I love the place. It is very near to the metro station that link directly to the railway station I was taking. Long the street, there are many shops where I walk walk around and shopping. Further down maybe 10mins walk, there are many shops selling snacks and souvenir stuff. It gets very lively at night. Can walk down even further to get to 大马弄 dama lane for breakfast. There is this 煎饺 stir fried dumplings very nice (泮芳春煎饺) get there early as it will get very crowded. There is another deep fried fish slice is very nice too (大马弄蒋师傅酥鱼) nice too. Overall the hotel is quite good. And if you order delivery, they have this robot to delivery to your room. 👍

I booked the Sunshine Tatami Room for 2 nights with my partner, and it was a pleasant stay throughout the days. We were being offered complimentary breakfast Chinese-western fusion style at the 11th floor for 2 nights, free coffee vouchers at Peets’ Coffee at the lobby and the hotel offered free laundry service on the 10th floor. The tatami room was big enough for us to lay our 28” luggages flat on the floor, and have a L shape sofa with a super big screen TV. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel is very well located to the West Lake. Approx 15 mins walk. It is close to the night market and also a number of food halls. There is a coffee shop right downstairs on the right hand side of the hotel which makes great coffee. There is also 7/11 shop. Metro is also downstairs less than a min walk away. First impression checking in wasn’t great - English on checking in was difficult. Probably due to slight language barrier felt not as warmly welcomed as other hotels. I expect hotels that receive foreigners should have basic level check in. They also were very particular on how who should go into each of the three rooms but I said it we will sort this out between us. After that it was fine we went to our rooms. Rooms are quite outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially with handles coming loose. Rooms come with bath robes, tooth brush, toothpaste, combs, Ted Baker toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and slippers. They also provide water bottles daily and there are ones you can take free as you head out towards the lift which is a nice touch. The hotel housekeeping staff were the best despite language barrier they were very polite, courteous and professional. Very helpful as well. There was a housekeeping lady who came to help us with wifi as we did not have a China mobile number and she also knew we had three rooms booked. She helped with two of the rooms and asked if the other room needed help but they didn’t. There isn’t much of a place where guest can relax as they come back to the hotel. There is a small space on the left hand side as you enter the hotel which has a football table, toy dispenser machines, limited seating area. For anyone who wants good location to West Lake I would say this is it. However I think there are better hotels out there. Closeness to food and restaurants is a bonus. Rooms are clean but could do with an upgrade. It’s weird to have a window in the shower room that is directly onto the room as doesn’t give much privacy if all lights on. Overall 8/10

What makes me most satisfied is the coffee at the hotel’s breakfast ☕️It’s very delicious, and it’s the best coffee in hotels during the holidays. This time I checked in, the front desk upgraded me, and the overall check-in experience was very good. After checking in, a dedicated person guided me to the corresponding elevator, and proactively told me how to get to the room after going up. The room was very comfortable overall. It would be better if we could be informed that the back of the hotel can lead directly to the riverside neighborhood and we can enter and exit by swiping a card. We didn't know until we checked out that we had walked a lot of unnecessary steps.
