I stayed 3 nights at Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel in the Old Quarters. It feels like staying with friends, a home away from home. Staff like Kim, Zoey, Mr Duong (night shift) was always so helpful and caring, with good recommendations on where to eat etc. The hotel is a small but cosy. My room was big, clean, with top notch facilities (safe deposit box) and the MOST comfortable bed and pillow I had ever slept on in all my travels. Breakfast was a good international spread every morning. The only complaint I have is that the air con in the room is not auto switched on every time I come back once you insert your room key (like in all other hotels), and has to be manually switched on. The position of the switch is also funny, right in the corner next to the lamp shade, rather than at the entrance of the room.

Very nice boutique hotel in the middle of the Old quarter near shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to help you as needed. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and a lot of choices. It is buffet style and you can also order different foods like Pho, banana pancake, Vietnamese egg rolls and so much more.

When picking a hotel in Hanoi we were not sure about what to expect or who to go with as it was our first time in Vietnam! I have stayed in hotels in Australia, Italy, Dubai and many more but the Minerva Hotel is up there with one of the best! The rooms are cleaned to perfection and lovely white linen! They are spotless! The rooms are big and you get complementary tea, coffee and water. The breakfast is amazing with something to cater to all tastes. The location is also perfect as it is in a safe area within close walking distance to all attractions! However, the best part about the Minerva is the lovely staff who cater to your every whim and go out of there way to be thoughtful and just be as helpful as they can to you as a first time visitor in Vietnam! They helped us organise transport, food deliveries and also brought us to a shop to get our SIM card changed which was extremely extremely helpful! They could not be more helpful if they tried! I genuinely mean it by saying the Minerva Premium should be the only place you choose to stay in Hanoi it was exceptional! Thank you so much Minerva! from, Megan

I stay at this hotel in May with Michael who I have stay with before in Hanoi expressive in the old quarters. So I was glad to be back with Michael again after few years! He is so good with me email him to say I was coming again and had answer back over nite. This hotel excellent value for your money and their service is above anything else I have experienced in my travels! Whatever you need Michael will arrange for you whether taxi from airport luxury bus to Sapa or a trip to Halong Bay he will organise. I had less than 24 hours in Hanoi therefore location was crucial. This place is perfect. On a quiet little street in the heart of everything which couldn't be more perfect. Lily is amazing! So so helpful. Room was perfect with super comfy bed. So clean and cosy. Shower was lovely and hot too. At such a cheap price, insane!!! What more can you ask for!! Xx

The staff are very nice, the room is clean and comfotable. I have great time in this hotel. Very convenient location in old quarter....budget friendly...receptionist ms.lieu and owner mr. Tung were allways there n very helpful....maids also very very accomodative....highly recommend this property....

I and some friends stayed here few years ago and we come back this year as we love this hotel a lot. Everyone works for this hotel is very helpful and hospitality. They supported us a lot during the time we stayed here with them. Hotel is clean and we love everything and of course also the breakfast. We will definitely come back and also introduce to more of our friends. Thanks again for making my trip !

Fantastic modern funky hotel, well situated fir old quarter and station. Good size room with excellent shower room. Comfy bed and usual Western equipment . USB charging points, free toiletries. Social area was good sized near reception and offered a well stocked bar. Breakfast served there also and the option to use thier facilities to cook your own!.

Este hotel está muy cerca del barrio de las embajadas, mucho más tranquilo que el casco antiguo. Se ve bastante nuevo y por tanto reservamos directamente con el establecimiento a través de email (enero 2023) una suite especial del piso 9º (planta noble hasta donde llega el ascensor). Un dormitorio amplio con cama grande (bien de colchón y sábanas), armarios, perchas, ventanales a la ciudad, mesillas, a.a. y tv satélite. Al lado, una sala de estar amplia con muebles, un sofá no muy grande (en las fotos se veían 2 sofás), otro a.a. y otra tv también satélite, un espacio de cocina con frigorífico grande (agua de cortesía) y precio normales. Un buen baño, moderno, amplio, con encimera y amenities, muy buenas toallas y ducha grande con mampara, presión de agua normal y ventana exterior. Bien de limpieza (diaria) y buen wifi. Recepción y zonas comunes suficientes. (2 ascensores y piscina interior). Personal amable. Check-in a las 12 (igual que el check-out). Al principio querían darnos un ático del piso 11, pero nos negamos porque son más pequeños y el ascensor no llega a ese piso. La zona de desayunos es muy pequeña (solo 3 mesas) y tuvimos que desayunar en una de las mesas de recepción (mesas redondas muy pequeñas, pero al menos separados del resto por el tema COVID). Un bufet no muy variado (huevos/tortillas a petición) y no muy bien presentado, además de repetitivo (fruta escasa y solo pan de molde). Si algo se terminaba, había que pedirlo a la camarera, aunque no tardaba mucho en reponerlo. La calle Doi Can es algo estrecha y con tráfico intenso, llena de restaurantes y tiendas, pero el hotel se retranquea de forma que los únicos ruidos que llegan al piso 9º son los ladridos (conitnuos y muy molestos) de los perros de las cercanías. Por otro lado, en esa misma calle tiene parada el bus nº 9, que por 7.000 dongs (unos 30 céntimos de euro) te lleva directo al lago Hoan Kiem en pleno centro (y vuelve por el mismo camino) en unos 20 minutos. El hotel está a minuitos caminando del complejo del mausoleo de Ho Chi Minh, Pagoda del Pilar Único, Museo de Historia Militar, Ciudad Imperial, Palacio Presidencial y Templo de la Literatura. Transfer al aeropuerto por unos 12€. En resumen: un buen apartamento en una buena zona tranquila (mejor que en el caso antiguo), por un precio ajustado para la calidad ofertada (1.100.000 dongs por noche con desayuno, es decir, unos 43€), si bien los desayunos pueden mejorar bastante.

The hotel was located on the main street, so there were many restaurants, marts, and coffee shops. The exterior was decorated splendidly. The hotel room was clean, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was buffet style, and lots of food was served. If you are food lover then i just suggest only this hotel in Hanoi. The staff were kind, too
