This was a mixture of hotel and traditional ryokan. The room was spacious, the onsen (hot spring baths) were fantastic, as were the traditional Japanese breakfasts and banquet dinners. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the experience.

■ Location Take a bus (220 yen cash only) from Shuzenji Station and get off at Miyukibashi, 2-3 minutes. The other side across the new bridge along the Katsura River. About 7 minutes on foot from Shuzenji Onsen Station on the route bus. Large high-rise inn. The scenery might be beautiful during autumn leaves. ■Nearby Attractions We recommend going to Niji no Sato on a free electric bicycle. The bicycle was also made by Panasonic and was new, and it was powerful even on the slopes. You can get there in about 20 minutes. At Niji no Sato, you can enjoy steam locomotives and views of Mt. Fuji. Also, if you have a receipt for staying at Shuzenji Onsen, Niji no Sato will give you a 30% discount. ■ Room The room was spacious and the bed was set on tatami mats, so it was comfortable to sleep. It was nice to have a humidifier. ■ Meals Buffet style with a competitive number of items. If you are with children, you can enjoy it in an entertainment mood. It might be more fun if you make it a fair specification such as cotton candy. On the contrary, it is a mess, so it is not recommended for those who want to enjoy it slowly or emphasize the atmosphere. ■ Amenities In front of the Daily Yamazaki convenience store in the ryokan, you can take whatever you want as much as you like. I think that management efforts to reduce personnel and maintenance costs are rational, only for Obako Hotel. I think the service of choosing a yukata is very good. Wouldn't it be nice to have a special yukata for a fee? If there is a design that looks good on Instagram. ■ Hospitality The check-in time was around 17:00, so I contacted them in advance. At that time, there are only two dinners at 18:00 and 18:30, and the 19:45 two-part system is not being done at this time, so I hurried to the hotel without eating lunch. At the front desk of the inn, it was said that after 18:00, there would be a two-part system at 19:30, and there was a discrepancy between the phone and time. Although I complained about it, the woman at the reception was indifferent, with no apology or confirmation, whether the complaint was a daily occurrence. Perhaps the person on the phone misunderstood and told the time, but I asked if there was 19:45, and although I insisted that it was not, I regret that I told the wrong time. . I can't help but make a mistake, but I was disappointed because there was no follow-up at the reception.

The first time we chose the back of the inn at Shuzenji Onsen, it was the Yukoro Kikuya. It is located almost in the center of the hot spring town of Shuzenji, and if you follow the prefectural road that runs through the northern bank of the Katsura River, there is an entrance to the inn, and there is a parking lot next to it. From the entrance to the main body of the inn, you will pass over the lobby built on the bridge over the Katsura River. Check-in is done on the sofa in this lobby, so you can see the Katsura River from just above the river. As the name ”Yu Corridor” suggests, many hot water areas are connected by long corridors. From those hot springs, I could see the beautiful garden of the inn. The dinner I was looking forward to was called ”Quasi Sakana Kaiseki”, and I was able to choose some dishes as I liked. We were two of us, and we dared to eat different dishes, but each dish looked beautiful and very delicious. Our accommodation plan was a plan to have draft beer free in the private lounge, so we had draft beer in the hot spring and relaxed.

This is a Ryokan which has a very good reputation. For me, the stay is perfect and I will recommend this Ryokan. Even though you cannot value the location of the Ryokan, as Shuzenji is a very small place. The Rokan is right opposite to the bamboo forest, which is suitable for my personal view. However, you need to notice as it is close to the bamboo forest and near to the river, you will find many bugs here, especially at night. Don't forget to close the windows and doors. When you first arrive at the Ryokan, don't forget to take a photo of the board at the door as you can find your name on it. If you have a name that can be written in Kanji, you can even email them to let them write in Kanji. The Ryokan itself is large but the staff are very nice and friendly. They will introduce the whole Ryokan to you when you arrive and lead you to the most places so that you can find out the several Onsens and amenities' locations. I will recommend you to discover the Ryokan when you are free. The Ryokan even provides guided tours as most of the buildings here are cultural heritage. Moreover, the Ryokan will even provide umbrellas, so no worries when it rains. The English of Ryokan staff is not ideal, as you might be able to guess. If you can speak Japanese, I will recommend you to use Japanese. The food quality is very good and they will sometimes provide some very interesting dishes. For example, the lobster shell tempura, which shocked me at first but tasted not bad. I have mentioned Onsen before but there are a few more you might need to know. Since the hotel has a long history, you might need to take a shower in your room first then go to the Onsen in different places as there are no shower places in Onsen like other Ryokan. However, the onsen is very good so I will recommend you try as many as you can. Overall, the Rokan is expensive but absolutely worthy. I will recommend you to try it when you are free.

Kangcheng Kawabata mentioned the hot springs of Xiusan Temple three times in the short story ”The Dancer of Izu”. Before we set off for Japan, we decided to add a berth and two meals to the ghost's habitat in the second half of our newlywed trip, one to experience the traditional Japanese soup culture, and the other to relieve fatigue for the first half of the trip.
From Tokyo, the Shanyang Line to Sandao transfer, three hours to the hot spring town of Zhongyizu. Unlike the downtown, the flowing water, Nana breeze, the breath of nature makes people feel very comfortable when they get off the bus. The hotel has been waiting at the station in advance. The driver master introduced us to the attractions, the room (we booked the mountain section, after talking about it, you can look at the water, see if you want to change) and the dining arrangement. His humor makes the transfer journey very pleasant and short.
In terms of service, the whole process is meticulous, there is a Chinese brother at the front desk, and the check-in is also very smooth. At the same time, I noticed that the driver master had a special explanation with the front desk after learning that we were newlyweds. So thank you for the ”kill to die” that the hotel offers, including flowers, two free drinks and desserts.
In terms of rooms, the whole hotel is very elegant. After comparison, although the soup pool in Qingshui is larger, we prefer the room type and mountain view of Shanke. Combining Zen decoration design and furniture, we enjoy this hot spring trip very much.
In terms of dining, whether it is dinner or breakfast, kaiseki cuisine is very exquisite. While experiencing the fresh food in the season, you can feel the chef's understanding and making, pursuit and ingenuity in terms of taste, ingredients, appearance, etc., only 40 years old is really very young.
In terms of environment, before two o'clock, we went to the town for a walk. The sunflower is a local specialty. This can be taken away from the buckwheat noodles, the sunflower ice cream can be tasted, etc. You can feel it. I especially recommend the buckwheat noodles of the Temple そば (refreshing, fragrant and delicious) Ice cream with Tan Nai (next to the foot bath soup pool, you can soak your feet while blowing the hair while eating dessert).
Overall, this hot spring trip has become a very good memory for us, looking forward to the future opportunity to come again.

I recently had the delight of staying at Izu Marriott, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location of the hotel. Nestled in the picturesque town of Izu, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The hotel itself is equally impressive. It is well-designed and beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. What really stood out to me, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Izu Marriott. They were incredibly polite and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure that I had a memorable stay. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with my room, the staff was always available and eager to help. Especially thank Roshan and the front desk team, who provide exceptional service to us.

Our room has a Mount Fuji view, which was great!
However, the location of the hotel is situated on the hill, so May not be so convenient for travellers who don’t drive. Also, if you want to go to the public onsen within the hotel, you will have to take the shuttle bus, which is a bit inconvenient.
However, overall this hotel is still a good choice!

I was able to stay at the first stay, the special floor ”tosaemon”. It was hard to understand the reservation method, and even if I wanted to book a special floor A in the official site, I was able to book only B, but I was satisfied as I hoped. It is comfortable for the customer as the previous reputation, and the staff from Vietnam is satisfied with the hard work of the front. The hot water of the source hanging was just good, and the room bath was satisfactory with all the large wooden stones. The meal was able to enjoy wasabi in the private room both morning and evening. It is an inn that can be well prepared by ”secret bath Roman” in advance, and it is more than expected. It seems that 'Shirakabe no sho' has been renewed to 'Shirakabe', and the inside of the building and the yukata are 'Shirakabe no sho', but all of the appearance of the building is beautiful. However, the building is large and maze, and there are many up and down, and the arrangement of the room is a little dissatisfied. The special lounge is also slow and satisfying, but if you want to go to the cocktail time after 17 o'clock, it is the best if you have nuts. For us, you can meet the highest evaluation inn after a long time and designate it to a new inn.

We had the most wonderful time at Ochiairo! I came here for a birthday trip with my husband and best friend and we stayed in the spacious Aofuji room overlooking the river. The spatial arrangement offered more than enough space and privacy for 3 people and probably 2 couples or a family and kids. The white noise lulled us to sleep every night and it was simply magical. The international staff was so helpful to us. While we don’t speak Japanese, they did their best to understand and attend to us and it all worked out. They went above and beyond making my birthday feel very special. It was the small details that really mattered - ensuring that we had bikes and activities arranged the night before, coming to our room to teach me how to wear my yukata when I asked them to help, and even cleaning out and lovingly packaging some souvenir bento containers we arrived with when they saw them in our mini fridge! Everything about this place is just so beautiful. A few notes: - THE BATHS! When I tell you that I screamed when I saw the cave and private onsen in particular - just trust that they cannot be missed. - We are all tattooed - one of us significantly so. They have small tattoo covers but ask that you do cover them in the main bath areas (I only know this because I asked and they were incredibly polite about the advice) - We brought tattoo cover but in case you don’t want to bother, please take advantage of the absolutely stunning outdoor private baths - The food is great and eat dinner in sitting rooms upstairs (not served in your room) - You get unlimited drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) and snacks which was another pleasant surprise because they are so tasty! - The koi fish in the front swim up to you and follow you around with such enthusiasm. It’s as if they’re little pond puppies. The staff allowed us to feed them so if interested, please ask. - Don’t miss the swing next to the suspension bridge! - While I loved our room - please note that there is an abandoned hotel directly across the river from it. Kind of ruined the “I am communing with nature” vibes but it was fine in the long run. I could go on, but just trust that this place is just exceptional!

I stayed in a room with a smoking swamp corner room swamp 19 tatami mats + wide edge. The air conditioning in the room is old air conditioning. You can adjust the air conditioner. It was a little cool in the latter half of September, but the bath is hot. And the river floor is mountains, and it's raining, so the humidity is half endless. There is a dehumidifier, but the towels are not dry at all. if there is no air conditioner, it is impossible without a fan. It's not very summer, but I thought it was impossible to go. it was 19 tatami mats, so it might have been more. it's partitioned in two, so it's closed, but there's no change at all. . . the dishes are basic courses. you can have breakfast on the river floor. it's a very pleasant space. It was raining, but I was able to spend it without any problems at all. There are mosquitoes until autumn. It is good to spray insects before entering the dining room. The dishes are very delicious. even in basics, it's full. if it's a little cooler, when the fire stops, it's cooler, so you should eat warm things early. ”Wasabi pot” is very refreshing and no spicy. I was able to eat people who were not good at wasabi. The taste of the pot was very delicious. The pre-eating sake was rare in La French sake. There were about 6 kinds of appetizers. The grilled and baked goods were salted cherry blossoms. cherry blossoms were rare with children. It was a little small cherry blossoms. Tea steamed, wasabi pot, tempura, and rice were chestnut rice. After the sashimi, dessert. It was almond tofu, melon, shine muscat. And the night meal mini onigiri. (there was a plum inside) Breakfast is basically a lot of rice. So, a side dish called a rice dish called a rice dish. It is made of wasabi donut, nori, potato, * baked, pickled, wasabi miso, Kamaboko zushi, etc. Tea steamed like a corner boiled image like a side dish. The baked goods are a little bit. The fish is half cut. And one bird dumpling. It was like eating too much rice. Ohitsu I replaced it. Miso soup is on fire, so you can warm it until the fire stops. The bath is 4 rentals. Each is 1 ~ 2 up to 3 people. The bath area is small for the spread of the site. 100% drip is good, but it was a waste. I put the rental many times. You can check the vacant information on your smartphone, but if you wait outside, it will change to empty → full immediately. When you lock it, it seems to be linked. ① Kaguya no Yu looks cute, but when you enter by two people, you are sitting in a physical education. ② Moonshita Beauty There is one washroom. Shower. There is only one dressing room, and there is an approach to open the door, and there is a bath tub, so you lock the glass door and go ahead. Here, three people in the gym seat. ③ Komichi in the forest, three people enter. It's beautiful. The dressing room is also wide. ④ Meteor shower. The timing was not bad. Kaguya no Yu and forest no Komichi are until 23:30. It is not available in the morning. Get out of the building and go out. If you wait outside, you'll get bitten by mosquitoes. If it rains, you can't wait outside. After 30 minutes, you'll get a time on the net. Some people have an hour or so. (a little Hinshku) The public bath is only the inner bath. It seems that the male bath has a small open air. There is a rock bath, but it feels hard to use. I thought it would be good to have a bath replacement. The room has an empty refrigerator, only glass and hot water. The bath in the room is a unit bus, but there is a hot spring. It was good to have incense. I went to the bath. The basket was also convenient. There was a large mirror stand and it was good to use. The TV was also large. There was a chair for 4 people on the wide edge and it was convenient. There is a bridge nearby, so it is beautiful to go on foot at dusk. The river floor is also visible from the outside. The heart motif is beautiful. It was raining, but I went. There was a feeling and the atmosphere was very good. Recommended to walk brat. Problem: humidity that the towels are not dry

GGuest UserI used it for the wedding anniversary celebration.
I've seen it in a magazine before, and I've been worried about it all the time, and this time I was able to ask my long-cherished wish come true.
The room, the food and the staff were able to spend a very good time with two people more than expected.
The facility name LOQUAT means ”Biwa”, and there is a ”Shirabiwa” that can only be seen in this area on the premises.
When I heard it at dinner, I thought it was a nice story, but after checking out, I asked the staff to suggest that it was the season, and I had a harvest experience.
It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience.
He also experiences making biwa sake, which seems to be very interesting.
In the future, I am very looking forward to increasing the number of 々 experience plans.
It is an inn that I want to visit again on an important day.
GGuest UserI stayed with my family because I had a meal in a private room and had an open-air bath in my room. It is in the back of Shuzenji Onsen Town and is a quiet environment. When I arrived at the inn, I received a welcome drink service in the lounge. The room was very large and barrier free. The semi open-air bath was large enough for children and two people, and the washroom was large and easy to use. The bedroom and Japanese room were spacious and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are available in a private room, and each dish is added for a while and is great. The lady and the chef were also greeted and impressed by the hospitality. The chef brought the shiitake mushroom log and ate it with the butter baking of shiitake mushroom, but it was exquisite. The young woman who took charge 々 was also very kind and felt very good. I would like to repeat it again.
GGuest UserI made a reservation to coincide with the Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival.
I took a hot spring bath as soon as I arrived, and the large indoor bath and outdoor rock bath had a feeling of openness that was really great.
The quality of the spring water is very good and you won't get too hot, so you can enjoy it over and over again. I love that you can come in from 5am!
When I took a walk outside at night, I was very moved by the starry sky.
The staff are very kind and I am very satisfied overall.
There was a golf course right in front of the hotel, so next time I would like to stay with friends and make a golf reservation.
I felt that the taste of the food was perfect. We stayed for 2 nights and had lunch with Japanese and Western dishes, but the deliciousness of Japanese food shines. I really liked the chef's seasoning. The toasted nori seaweed served for breakfast is in a wooden box and is warmed in the box. While eating, you can enjoy the texture of crispy grilled seaweed. The open-air bath in the room is also very good. I had time, so I did a 40 minute hike. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we could not see Mt.Fuji. It has become one of the memorable inns that I would like to visit again.
GGuest UserFuji is beautiful in winter. In addition, the cherry blossoms bloom early and the warm weather makes it the perfect place for a trip to Nishiizu. Shimoda is also nearby, so you can enjoy a drive to Minamiizu. It's a pity that there are no large public baths or private baths at En, but if the weather is fine, you can spend a pleasant time. There are individual differences in food, but we enjoyed it. Deep sea fish are delicious.
GGuest User[2 10,000 yen for 3 days. So the service is so good and the location is good. Is it okay ⁈] I stayed at 2 nights and 3 days (about 10,500 yen per person). The Meijikan, a place of the western part of the Izu Peninsula, is located along the sea of the land called Tohi. I think that all rooms are ocean view and a nice inn with a good sea even on the low hierarchy. [Room] It was a room with a wide edge between 8 tatami mats and 4 tatami mats, and an independent washbasin by the bathroom. Is it a room of the inn that is commonly constructed from the Showa period? It is a room with a year, but there is no impression of ”old dirty” because it is cleaned properly. Since the power supply is small, it is recommended to bring in a power tap when charging a lot of IT equipment. Above all, the wide edge is a window, so the sea is firmly visible. It is a very comfortable space, especially when the sunset sinks from the room. At night, the same wide edge, all the lights are turned off and the windows are opened a little, and the outside lights and waves are cleared to the ears, and the sake is enjoyed. It's been a long time since I had such a luxury. [Hot spring] Although it is a long established inn, there is a clean feeling in the facilities and space. Of course, I feel the deteriorated part, but it is a pleasant space that can be seen that it is cleaned quite firmly. It is also nice to incorporate the light outside into the bath full of eyes. The water is clear, and the temperature is not too hot and too wet. I used it in the morning in the rental state, but this is also a luxury time. The cherry blossom rental open-air bath has two types: ”urara no Yu” and ”nukumi no Yu”. It costs 45 minutes and 2200 yen, but I think you can experience it once. The facilities are even more beautiful. There is also an inner hot water in the space made of wood, and you can spend an elegant time watching the sea in the open air outside. Of course, there is a good washroom. Unlike the public bath, this is a little hot because of the hot water of the water. You can add the amount of water to your preference and enjoy it even if it is slightly heated or firmly wet. [Meal] ※ This time it is unused. I will try to experience it next time. [In-house] 1F There are many activities in the lobby that children can enjoy, such as souvenir shops and sweets shops, game corners (※ when I visited, I was closed because of corona). There is a large cart for carrying luggage, and it is safe even if it is a big luggage with a child. [Customer Service] There was no meal, so there was no contact, but when I left the car, I rented the open air, etc., I was very bright and gentle. It was very pleasant. [Others] It is very thankful for choshi. There are baby buses, baby chairs, toys, etc. in the public bath and the rental open air. In the room, there are too much comfort amenities for mothers such as mat and diaper for infants, and all of them are unified with characters and cute things, and it is a very happy service. At the reception, it was a service that was exhaustive for the child to provide a diaper if it was not enough. [Overall] A lodging that can be spent relaxing. And the feeling of excitement that can be played in the sea in front of you in the morning and at night. It's nice to be able to wake up with the morning light. Amazing service spirit that welcomes you with children. It was nice. The ”beauty” of the cherry blossom room is quite different from the way people feel, so compared to the new inn and hotel recently, it is said that it is a room with an old season. Personally, it was the inn that survived from the Showa period Heisei period, and I felt that it was kept clean even without renovation or renewal. In addition, the service and location are nice. And, about 10,000 yen per person in 2 nights and 3 days. Wouldn't Cospa be too good? Laughing I really appreciate you having a very slow holiday. 神神游小哈The location is slightly biased, so there may be fewer foreign guests in the hotel, mainly locals. The view of the room is a selling point. It faces the sea from Mt. Fuji. The open air is very comfortable and the room is very comfortable. There are not many places to stroll around and it is not convenient to not drive. The hotel's food is very good, it is a combination of Japanese and French, and the display is very beautiful. The service attitude is very good, that is, the overall English level is slightly poor, and the communication is slightly difficult.
GGuest UserVery good as a facility and the meal was very satisfying
The air conditioner and dryer smelled moldy
At breakfast, a child about elementary school student did not mask despite the buffet form, and coughed with his hand and coughed, and wanted to eat slowly, but I immediately got a seat
The parents who don't make the mask are the first to be sorry, but because it is such a time, the staff also wanted to be careful.
The other was really good, so I want to go again when the corona settles down
AApple mamaFacilities: The room and hotel facilities are very complete. The hotel has restaurants, shops, hot springs, and you can also enjoy the swimming pool and hot springs of the nearby Marriott Hotel
Hygiene: clean management
Environment: comfortable, very peaceful
Service: The only disadvantage is that the hotel does not have an elevator, you have to move your luggage by yourself, and there are no staff helpers
The front desk staff is very patient to answer and explain all questions👍
