A very pleasant stay. Nice welcome from the friendly staff. The room was a good size and very clean. An ideal location near the railway station and about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral and tower. Lovely hotel and a nice touch with the sweets in the room.

This was a great experience! The hotel is a historical beauty, great location, nice breakfast. The only thing that bothered a lot was awful street noice. It was Friday night, so some people outside were hanging around till late night, sometimes screaming like crazy. We closed the windows and shutters, it didn’t help. We had a corner room on the 1st floor.

Medium sized Italian hotel in great location next to Pisa Tower, very short walk to historic area and busy town life. Hotel is popular and well worn on stairs, reception very helpful, multilingual and provides town map. Hotel accommodated allergy requests, we were blessed with a seated balcony at rear of property, room clean and had all amenities for short stay (no hot drink or fridge facilities in room) but restaurant downstairs for additional cost. Towels, soap provided and TV, hairdryer and air con in room. Book hotel transfers at reception as far more reasonable. Approximately 20-25 min walk from Pisa Central station and there’s a mini metro from train station to airport (just make sure you leave central station in right direct re town to airport).

Up the stairs, I was greeted by cozy, antique furniture reminiscent of Tom's cottage or Heidi's attic, along with clean shower facilities and good water pressure. Tea and cookies were provided, and since the Leaning Tower of Pisa was about five minutes away, I visited it on the night of my arrival and was able to sightsee very comfortably the next day as well. The only slight inconvenience was carrying my bag up the stairs, but that was manageable. Every single piece of furniture was wonderful, showing great consideration for the guest. It is definitely a place I would like to stay again.

Fixed list breakfast from the cafe: croissant, double toast fillet with cheese and ham, fruit, juice & tea or coffee. Nice room but only one chair, fridge. We couldn’t get AC working but kept window open as it was spring time and not hot out. Show closet should be repaired as one door was difficult to operate and shower handle not able to fix in place but needed to keep in hand all time. Very nice personnel. Sometimes busy in the cafe as many locals use it as well.

BBodoWhat a nice place to stay in central Pisa! It doesn't look much from outside, but as soon as you pass through the front door you find that you're in a quiet cool oasis (note: there is quite a long flight of stairs up to the rooms - no lift - so not great for those with mobility issues).
Our room was spacious and comfortable and, despite overlooking a small square with restaurants, very quiet at night (there's quad-glazing on the window). You can order breakfast, or just enjoy the snacks left for us in the room. There's a microwave and drink making set-up in the lounge which was very handy.
The owners are friendly and helpful and were happy for us to leave our luggage for a few hours on the last day.
Staff are on site only in the mornings, and initially we were a bit sceptical about the entry/check in process (done with a QR code online), but it all worked flawlessly.
We would happily stay here again if we visit Pisa in the future :-)

Breakfast is decent with a reasonable selection, although there could be more fresh fruit. The main downside is the hot water – the water pressure is very weak, so showering takes forever.

LLinhNg93Great location for a short day trip to Pisa as it is right opposite Pisa Centrale Station. Plenty of good restaurants around the hotel. The male receptionist who checked us in last night was quite cold but the lady receptionist today was very nice. She offered us to use the washroom after check-out and before heading out to the station. Hotels don’t give you free bottle of water though so just a reminder to buy your own.

BUT room full of mold in the bathroom and near the curtains of the room!!! No ventilation!!! I would not have spent a second night there.

CCookieChunHaving read mixed reviews on this hotel, i decided to give it a go as the price was reasonable for a large hotel with nice pool. Upon arrival, the front staff was fantastic, polite and helpful. We got upgraded to a larger room with balcony. The room was quite simple but clean. We had to request for slippers and toothbrushes as it is not provided unless you ask. We were extremely disappointed that the pool was closed even though it was 21°C and the sun was blazing hot. I chose this hotel so we could chill by the pool on the first day but obviously that didn't happen. The pool area was not maintained well maybe because of winter just before. It states in the website, there are two restaurants and bar but there was only one restaurant called Lumen. We went there the first night, the starters were excellent but the mains were very mediocre. The spaghetti was horrible, very soggy. Paying €150 for a meal for 3 if us was not really worth it as the mains were not good at all, and we had one dessert to share. Breakfast was not great, hot food option was not that nice. The bakery items were good though.
Overall, it was okay... esp for that price. Location is close to Pisa Tower (15mins walk) and 7 mins ride to Pisa Centrale Stazione. Taximove app is very reliable and we used it to get to station and airport at reasonable prices.

AAThe hotel is located in a very small town. The hotel itself is good. I got a new room, there was no noise. Very clean, cleaned every day. Of the shortcomings I can note: no shampoo, a poorly working refrigerator and no glasses in the room.
I asked for glasses at the reception, they sent me to the bar, where they gave me plastic glasses.... I took glass ones myself, since I do not drink from plastic.
The hotel and Tirrenia itself are an ideal place to distance yourself from the world. Life in the city freezes at 8-9 o'clock. There is nowhere to go.
A good supermarket and several restaurants are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The food in none of them was particularly impressive.
The sea is gorgeous. Very clean. The beach is also kept clean.
Pisa is a half-hour bus ride from the hotel. There is nothing to do there, except for visiting the tower, but it is not long - 30 minutes maximum.

While its exterior might not immediately impress, the hotel itself is comfortable and clean. GGuest UserThe room is very small, but compared to the price, I think it is very cost-effective. In foreign countries where the average nightly rate is 2,000, the price here is very reasonable, and it is very close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, less than five minutes' walk! The facilities are a bit old, and the sockets even need to be supported by a cabinet to prevent the plugs from falling out. The hotel is also not far from the train station, less than ten minutes' walk. But all in all, this price, this location, and this view are still very cost-effective
