We had a night stay here coming from Zermatt and left to Lucerne and Lichtenstein next day. We have been to the same Latterbrunnen exactly 11 years back and it was far less crowded than it was now as many people are in roads near the town center. We thought there will be an onsite parking but has to park our car in a paid parking for the night. Room was also given outside the main premises more like an out house. Being a family room, top one of bunk bed seems a little unsafe with couple of supporting bars broken. Bathroom wise, shower curtain glass is too small to avoid spilling water outside. As the main road is just the other side of the windowed wall of the room, we have to keep the curtains closed till it become very dark. That seems lot of complaints. However, good part is location was awesome just near the waterfalls, cost was good compared to the ones around and ovely restaurant Weidstubli closeby, when we parked the car, hotel staff personally came outside that few metres distance to help us come and check in. Breakfast (complimentary and included) beats everything - too much and good variety, especially the fruits that we starved in previous few days.

We spent one amazing night at this place. The location is just superb being right on the main street of this charming Swiss village. There is a set of sitting rooms which can be used by all residents in the evening which has a microwave and cutlery. The room itself was really nice and well appointed and the breakfast was delicious and even included waffles. The rooms are well appointed and the best thing about this B&B is Gaby. She is just wonderful. She had our room ready early as we had requested, and was available all the time to help us. I wish we could have stayed longer. Dont miss this place

Fantastic ski holiday to Chalet Rosa in Lauterbrunnen under the excellent care of Ski Miquel. Chalet was great , and the staff couldn’t do more to keep us fed, watered and generally very happy! The food was amazing thanks to chef Lee and his attention and kindness to our to little ones ( 5 and 7) went well above and beyond ( cake decorations, kids choice of food, all round entertainer and pretty good boarder too). Dirk led the team extremely well and the chalet girls were all top. The whole experience was very friendly as our families all became friends. As for the resort - the views cannot be beaten and the ski runs, bars, food and general conditions were excellent. Even the trains were fun! Would definitely recommend.

We’ve just returned from an amazing week at the Chalet Rosa travelling with Ski Miquel. The chalet is in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen valley with breathtaking scenery. We were extremely lucky to share the chalet with a great group of people and very helpful attentive staff. The ski hosting by Dirk, Milly and Lee was brilliant, they treated us like friends rather than customers. The food provided by Lee, the chef at the chalet was exceptional. A 5 star experience overall.

Staying in Chalet Rosa was such a good experience after several years away from skiing. The chalet is simple but pretty and clean. The food was exceptional with the amazing chef Lee. He was also fun and joined in the last days ski hosting. Dirk, Milly and team Rosa were also perfect hosts and seemed genuinely committed to the chalet guests having a great holiday. Details, like the ski locker in the station, the easy transfers, the chalet bar and of course the ski hosting all added to a very relaxing, fun week. Lauterbrunnen itself is a beautiful village with nice walks and amazing views. Transport is easy up to the upper villages and slopes. We would certainly like to repeat this visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Rosa, the staff were excellent and so attentive, the food was probably the best we have encountered, thanks to Lee the chef. The Lauterbrunnen valley is breathtaking and should be on everyone's bucket list. This was our third holiday at the Chalet and we are intending future trips.

We had a nice time in Chalet Rosa and met some lovely people, the chalet hosts were brillant. We felt the bedrooms, and sitting room were looking very tired, it needs a bit of revamp. My lampshape in our bedroom was litertally falling apart, I asked for a new one and couldnt understand why this one hadn't been thrown away a long time ago. It was replaced, which must of come from another bedroom as it had coffee stains on. One of the couples we met had an issue with their shower door which was hanging off, it was like this all week and luckily they had some duck tape with them and had to use that to mend it! There were 18 people staying the week we were there and the dining room felt really cramped. I think it can sit up to 23 people, which I feel would definately be a squeeze! The breakfast was ok, different eggs every morning, yoghurt, tinned peaches, cornflake, bread/toast, ham and cheese. The afternoon tea was very disappointing with a small cake between 18 of us which needless to say didn't go very far. The evening meal was excellent and I would give this meal 5* cooked by the excellent chef Lee. Helen and Lucy were great ski guides and we enjoyed skiing with them throughout the week. There is pub next door which was great and we went there most nights. The ski storage is by the train station which is about 10 minute walk away. You have to catch a train to the top of mountain which takes at least 25 mins. Everywhere was clean and tidy, I just feel that the accomodation wasnt worth what we paid for it. I have skied for over 30 years and was disappointed, it definatley needs some investment. The Chalet hosts really worked hard to make it an enjoyable holiday for us.

Recently returned from a fabulous week of skiing in Lauterbrunnen booked through Ski Miquel. As the Chalet Rosa was fully booked we stayed in the Hotel Silberhorn. Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the ski hosting provided by Andy & Abbi. My son really loved skiing with Andy in the more experienced group and enjoyed the challenges and camaraderie of being in a group of like minded skiers. Myself & my partner skied with Abbi's group. As a not very confident skier I felt really safe as Abbi clearly explained the dynamics of each run, waited in a visible position on the slope & always had a cheerful welcoming smile for us at the lift at the bottom of the run. Abbi's positivity was endearing and her knowledge of the slopes in Murren, Wengen & Grindelwald was incredible. We went to some amazing places for coffee & lunch too. The Hotel Silberhorn was lovely and would definitely recommend. A big thank you to Andy & Abbi for making our family ski holiday so enjoyable.
