The Forest Projection Twin Room is the most satisfying hotel we have ever stayed in with our children. It has butler service, pick-up service, free laundry service, children's breakfast, Australian organic toiletries, Dyson hair dryer, full of details, the whole hotel is quiet in the bustling city, very close to the ancient city gate, 10 minutes walk, backed by Black Dragon Pool Park, it feels like living in the forest. As international travellers who don't speak Chinese well, our first experience of Lijiang was made wonderful thanks to our decision to stay at Dublin Inn. Of all the hotels we stayed in throughout our trip, Dublin Inn offered an experience that rivals five-star hotels. First of all, its location outside the North entrance is perfect for those who want to enjoy some peace and quiet after a busy day of exploring Lijiang Ancient Town. It is also a 5-7 minute pleasant walk along the river to the Black Dragon Pond scenic area. We enjoyed free airport pick up and free room upgrade (although we noticed that all their rooms featured five-star comfort and thoughtful touches for travellers). Our suite on the third floor had his and hers sinks, a separate bathtub and rain shower, an electronic bidet toilet, a designer hair dryer, and Perricone MD toiletries. We enjoyed daily in-room minibar, traditional semi-buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and evening dessert treats in the inn's cafe and reading lounge, chatting with fellow travellers. We also loved the tranquil stone garden courtyard with its misty Koi pond. What stood out the most for us were the hospitable Inn staff: we were warmly greeted like old friends over Yunnan Pu'erh tea tasting and rose flower cakes by the reception lady and butler Xiao Hai (小海). Even before we arrive, the Inn staff proactively contacted us via Weixin chat to confirm airport pick up, our meal dietary requirements and to offer information help for travel planning. Throughout our stay, they kept in touch with us through Weixin for daily meal services, housekeeping, evening turndown services and hotel activities like aromatherapy candle making. Butler Xiao Hai was especially friendly and sincere in his interaction with guests. He offered free old town guided visits, arranged Lijiang daytrips and chartered a great driver at reasonable cost for our onward travel to Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shangri-La City. He would stop to ask how our day went and gave insider tips for sightseeing and shopping. We highly recommend Dublin Inn to international travellers who want to experience Lijiang on a more intimate level. We only hope we can return soon to the warmth and hospitality of the Inn. You feel at home when you arrive at the inn. The boss helps with luggage at the door, gives travel advice, helps book travel cars, recommends food, and helps buy tickets for the Eternal Love show (mainly cheaper than the official website). He is responsive to all requests. The inn has a simple and solemn appearance, but the rooms are equipped with fully intelligent home equipment. The room is very clean. Although it is the peak tourist season in the summer, I think the price/performance ratio is very good.

Beautiful hotel, great location very close to the ancient town. The Glacier Mountain View from the hotel room is super convenient to watch sunrise and the alpenglow. The room was luxurious. The bed was comfortable. Great breakfast buffet and afternoon tea. Good internet connection. The service was flawless. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Especially 安娜/小娟 was very helpful and competent. Will definitely book again. A tip: the ancient town itself has corbel stone throughout, hence very difficult to navigate with a luggage. This hotel is located outside the ancient town and directly accessible via cars. A big win!

This hotel is really full of details! ! ! Super recommended! ! ! The handsome guy at the front desk helped us upgrade the room for free, which was really great! The snow-capped mountains in the picture were taken on the roof. Every part of the roof garden is carefully designed and has a variety of beautiful and succulents to enjoy. Intelligent voice control in the room, heating toilet, large sofa, humidifier, air conditioning are very powerful, breakfast is also super choice. Our room shower was changed, and the hotel immediately sent someone to change us to a new one. The next day, I went to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain because of the delay in the queue. After communicating with the hotel, we temporarily checked out and the service was full.

Environment: I like the decoration style very much. I feel that I can decorate it in this style when I buy a house in the future. The location is very good, very close to the ancient city. Hygiene: Someone cleans it every day, but the bathroom floor drain is a bit blocked Service: The boss and the lady boss are very kind people. They also recommended reliable small groups and made us raw coconut latte. The most important thing is that there are three super cute Hakimies in the store. They have very good personalities. The first time they ran to me, I felt happiness came so suddenly.

A very designer homestay, the location is super good, just at the north gate of the ancient city, there is a piano in the rest area. With the children out to book their deluxe double-decker suite, the privacy is very strong, the room facilities are super perfect, the dry and wet area is separated from the smart toilet, the two air conditioners upstairs and downstairs should not be too warm! Hot water is so good! The mattress is super comfortable. The sanitation is clean to spotless, the details of the hotel and inn can be really good at this level, the inn brother is responsive, the service is nothing to say, friends who want to come to Lijiang, rest assured to enter boldly

It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel contacted us before our stay and arranged for free pick up from the train station. They also added us on Wechat. The staff were friendly and helpful with our requests and queries. Even if they had no answers, they tried to find out and get back to us. They also helped us find a driver to take us to sights that were further away. As there was no lift in the property, the staff helped us carry our luggage to the fourth floor. When we checked out, they did the same. When we came back with too much shopping, they happily helped us with our bags too. The dining lounge on the fifth floor had a splendid view of the mountain range. On good days, one can even catch the sunset. There is free afternoon tea each afternoon from 2pm to 5 pm. Every evening, from 8pm to 9.30pm, the owner would host a buttertea 酥油茶 gathering for all his guests. The hotel is about a 15min walk to the Ancient Lijiang City. There is an underpass halfway between the hotel and the ancient city that leads straight to the Big Water Wheel. It's a good place to shop and eat while avoiding the sun enroute to the ancient city.

one of my favourite stays of all time!!! staff were super friendly and helpful, they assisted in booking tours for us to Yulong Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge. they also checked in with us regularly to ensure that we were doing fine on the tours. because the tours set off early, they prepared bread and milk for us to snack on - which was super, super thoughtful. the homestay is located in the ancient city. though it may be tiring to climb to get to, the view was worth it. we could see yulong snow mountain and the entire ancient city. it was a fantastic stay and it made us fall in love with lijiang so much. thank you for making us feel so at home, i strongly recommend staying here if you are coming to lijiang!!
