A fabulous stay at Voco Makkah once again. I truly want to thank management and all staffs for providing outstanding hospitality and services at your hotel. Samiul Hassan, a wonderful gentleman and bellman assisted us when we arrived with our belongings and luggage’s. Once entering our room, it was Deja Vu. Back to Voco for our stay and so good to be back in Makkah *************!
Very clean rooms, excellent daily housekeeping, plenty of shuttle buses to and from Haraam!!
InShaAllah i intend to stay with you again in our next visit!!!

Fantastic hotel. Extremely clean (and fragrant lobby). We had a twin deluxe room with Haram view; spacious, comfortable and plush. Breakfast was also solid with good hours (6:00 to 10:30). We checked out on a Friday and they allowed us to check out after Jummah salah.
The hotel is actually quite close to the Haram. From reviews online I was unsure, but in practice it's a few minutes walk to King Fahd Gate 79. For getting into the Haram I think it is quicker door-to-door than the Clock Tower hotels. For getting back from the Haram to the hotel, that is a bit longer depending on where you exit the masjid anddue to a slight uphill walk (nothing very demanding, non-elderly should be fine), though the walkway gets congested at busy times.
Alternatively, there is a shuttle which takes you from the main hotel entrance to street level in less than 2 minutes; from there you take escalator/lift to the Haram.
Would highly reccommend; only cons here would be no lotion in the bathroom and shower water pressure/temperature was not that high (very minor issues!)
Located in Makkah (Makkah City Center), Sama Samah Hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Great Mosque of Makkah and Kaaba. This hotel is 0.4 mi (0.7 km) from The Clock Towers and 19.2 mi (31 km) from Gate to Makkah.
Make yourself at home in one of the 65 air-conditioned guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include phones and safes, and housekeeping is provided daily.
Jumeira Jabbal Omar is a beautiful hotel Maashallah. The hotel, is very modern, clean and has an array of shops in the local building for quick access. It is a 4 minute walk from the haram and is in close proximity to gate 79 umrah entrance and also to clock tower.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Whilst the haram is close, you should still try to get to the haram early for prayer times as sometimes certain routes are closed thus redirecting mutamireen to alternate areas which may not be where you intended to be.
The one negative about the hotel is that it is located in an area of the haram that is not easily detected on google maps thus unable to order an uber from this hotel as a pickup point. This is however the case with several hotels close to the haram.
This was otherwise a lovely stay and in shaa Allah looking forward to returning soon.
With a stay at Rotana Jabal Omar in Makkah (Makkah City Center), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Great Mosque of Makkah and The Clock Towers. This hotel is 4 mi (6.5 km) from Kaaba and 0.1 mi (0.1 km) from As-Haabee Exhibition.
Don't miss out on recreational opportunities including a 24-hour fitness center and in-room fitness. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless internet access and concierge services.
Grab a bite to eat at one of the hotel's 3 restaurants, or stay in and take advantage of the 24-hour room service. Snacks are also available at the 2 coffee shops/cafes. Continental breakfasts are available daily from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM for a fee. Children aged 6 and younger eat free breakfast.
Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and meeting rooms.
Make yourself at home in one of the 655 air-conditioned rooms featuring minibars and espresso makers. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Private bathrooms with showers feature rainfall showerheads and bidets. Conveniences include safes and electric kettles, and housekeeping is provided daily.
1) The staff was very friendly and cooperative.
2) The location of the hotel was very good.
3) The facilities around the hotel were enough.
4) The only issue was the cleanliness, the bathroom was so small, the drainage was not proper, the room size was enough for two beds, but there were three beds.
When we arrive it was quick and easy to get our keys.
Upon check in the room was spacious, clean and beautiful. There was no dry mat for foot, we requested and housekeeping said they don’t have it.
The toilet was slippery each time after we use them and as we exit the toilet due to no foot dry mat.
After a day, the housekeeping later gave us dry mat.
Overall location for shopping and eating Arabic/western/bangladesh cuisine is located less than 1min walk.
Towards Haram may take 10-15mins walk.
During each prayer time road will closed and will have your personal private van/car unable to reach the hotel due to police control about 500meters away from this hotel not allowing any private car in. Before and after prayer time road are open but restricted unless you walk to 500meters to the police where they control which vehicles can come in and tell the police which private vehicle is yours. So we were eventually late for our flight due to local restrictions by traffic police not allowing our private vehicle in as you have to walk 500meters and identify which vehicle to tell the police to let in. That’s the only inconvenience and the hotel can’t do anything about it nor assist your luggage to walk 500meters away to send your luggage to your vehicles.
Many guests care about the quality of the rooms they stay in and want to ensure that their rooms have fresh, clean air.
