"Buena Vista was perfect from the moment we walked to the entrance. A very friendly, smartly dressed member of staff greeted us and took us to the check in desk which is in a lovely vibrant reception area. We had quite a small room with no shelves but it was comfortable and had an excellent shower. The breakfasts were in a fairly small area, which makes it feel a little crowded, but we always got a table and the food was varied. We tried the buffet one night which had nice food but it was warm rather than hot. We then tried the Chinese restaurant which was excellent - quality food, served by friendly staff for reasonable prices. This hotel is in a great location as it’s only a few minutes from the station. The staff were all excellent - professional and friendly."

"Booked a room here for 1 day just to explore matsumoto. this hotel was a pretty good distance to walk to the tourist attraction such as the matsumoto castle and nawate shopping street. loved that they offered free icecream or ramen between 8:00-10:00 pm. If you ever check out and you still have time before your bus leaves, you can also ask front desk to keep your luggage so you can be luggage free exploring. they were super kind and understanding with all the requests we had."
