Friendly staff , clean rooms, superb location . Staff were very accomodating and i was able to ask them to senda minibus to pick us up. Rooms were clean. No issues with aircon. The initial frustration had to do with us not knowing how to turn it on. Direct access to shopping mall from 5th floor. We will definitely want to stay again.

Old dated hotel but can stay. Try booking using the hotel website. They will get back to you via whatapps. 395K for standard room. But it was fully booked. So recommended to take grand superior room at 475K IDR. It is manageable to walk to peniun market area and A2 food court and grand batam mall. About 10 mins +-. Gojek from Marriott hotel (gojek shelter) cost 26K IDR to this hotel. There is a specific go jek shelter pick up point nearby Marriott hotel area. Just need to keep a look out. If can should book artotel which is a newer hotel compared to hotel 89.

Breakfast was good, variety was ok on the weekend, however need improve the variety bfast on weekday. We stayed for 5 Night on 14 - 19 Oct and staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful, especially for Rafft for making our stay extra enjoyable with his great service. Comfy bed, and big bathroom. the location of the hotel is very strategic in the city center and if you want to go to the mall or look for other food options it's only walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights at the one @komplek baloi. Good location, near 2 shopping mall (BCS mall and Grand Batam mall). Outside the hotel there are many eateries, some are outdoor tents and there's also outdoor food court. Massage places are many around this hotel also. Convenience store also available across the street. The hotel is quite new, but the bedsheet a bit yellowish and saw stain at the corner. When i requested to change the bedsheet next day (by putting the card), they didn't do it because saw the same stain at the same spot. Came 2pm for check-in but the room still not ready yet, so waited at the lobby. There were no hand towel provided, called the housekeeping and they only gave face towel. Breakfast spread quite good, but taste average. They allowed for late checkout at 1pm.

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.

I booked this hotel for my relatives. They are travellers of a senior age and truly appreciate the service received in this hotel. I requested lower floor rooms and near to the lift. Didn’t expect the hotel to accommodate, yet they did. My aunts and uncles were very happy to know they are placed close to one another. Thank you Harmony Suites for the wonderful service!

Very efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Me and my family had the chance to stay at Aston Nagoya Hotel. We got check in process was super fast and seamless. We were assigned to a room on the 13th floor and oh boy.. what a nice room. It has the best city view of batam, in the night we can see the lighting of batam. Nearest from food court and shopping mall. All the staff very great service from the security, reception and resto staff. They did a very good job in providing an excellent service. Last but not least, special thank you to the Duty Manager, Mr. Randi who made our stay very memorable. He was very kind and attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. Thumbs up for his great job and effort to make our stay enjoyable. He is a great asset to this company. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommended hotel in Batam!

The room was cosy and very clean. The bathroom was also sized nicely. Location wise, there were quite a number of food stalls very bear the hotel and quite near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall.
That said, the breakfast area can be considered abit small. It showed during the Deepavali weekend where odd and even numbered rooms were given different time slots for breakfast. The kitchen seened unable to cope with the mounting number of guests as there were instances the replenishment took a longer time.
However, overall, my stay at the hotel was a good one!

Staff were friendly and helpful - from the front office to the security especially front desk Melly. There was an upgrade of our rooms but there was a mix up but it got settled pretty quickly. But we didn't get the same floor , so our family was split - understandably due to peak period. One of the rooms had quite an odor and one of the toilets had no hot water. Breakfast was good - had wide variety. Hotel is near attractions like nagoya hill, thamrin city and golden city. Overall, we had a pleasant stay despite the minor inconveniences and disruptions.

GGuest UserI make my booking at Agoda for 3D2N.We booked Executive Loft with slide.It cost us about SGD334.It can accomodate maximum 6pax.Consist of 2 bedroom,living room ,2 bathroom and a balcony.One room consist of king bed .The other room consist of 1 king and a single bed.Living room have sofabed.There's shower and bathtub too.All bedroom is at the loft.For first time choosing the hotel,we don't know where exactly the place is,the taxi driver also not quite sure where the place is,we keep looking left and right for the hotel name,till lastly we spot a signboard at the end of the building stated Manuka by Havis.Their lobby is quite small.I don't know if I can say it a hotel though,because they don't have breakfast,no spa no nothing,coz their place is surrounded with spa's and eatery, you can juz come down and have ur breakfast,lunch or dinner within the area.BCS and Grand batam mall is juz walking distant.And the famous itsumo cafe is juz behind the hotel.There's korean restaurant/coffeshop that are halal juz behind the hotel too.Their staff is friendly and helpful .The price actually too pricey,but overall I love my stay here.I enjoy playing the slide,hahaha.Me and my family really have a great stay.Thank you. PROS: the area is spacious. have s small kitchenette, u can cook there. but no utensils though. they have pots and pans. incld fork and spoon have microwave plates,cups.. Fridge CONS: u have to go down to use the bathroom as the bedroom is on top. balcony light is too dim for the night and there's no kind of shelter if we like to sit outside on a sunny day. charging phone is like a disaster for me because it didn't charge even we charged our phone for the whole day,it is really frustrating.we have to change our charging place here and there to make it work,really annoying if u can't charge ur phone though.do something boss.Thank u FYI please bring your universal plug.Most of their power socket is the EU kind of socket.using the round plug.

GGuest UserChecked into this hotel at abt 8 or 9pm, cos we could not stand the hotel we checked in earlier. Was so glad that we got a beautiful deluxe room for ourselves at this timing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The reception even accommodated my last minute request for a birthday surprise for my hubby at midnight. They were so nice!! They prepared a choco lava cake with a birthday candle and a Happy Birthday wish on the plate. And 2 staff were there singing a Happy Birthday song as well. Hubby was very much caught by surprise. The room was great - spacious with sofa and armchairs with nice looking furniture, the whole room is very clean with a nice cosy setting, bathroom amenities was great, and the king bed and pillows were so comfortable I had the best sleep in many months! The best sleep was definitely the highlight of my holiday this time round 🤭 Location is awesome as its so near to Nagoya Hill Mall, all we had to do was just go by the back way. Breakfast is nice and filling. I'm not really a picky water so being full is good for me. We had a great view from our room as well. It was such a pleasure and a redemption from the bad service we unfortunately had to receive from our earlier booking at another hotel. The rooms are really as nice as the photos they uploaded. Really made our day here at Grand I Hotel. Thank you to all the staff who have served us during our stay 28 to 30 Jan 2023 at Room 627. We are really grateful for a wonderful holiday and birthday experience here. We will definitely be back here when we come to Batam again. Keep up the good work!

GGuest UserHotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

The staff are all so helpful, cheerful, the front desk staff are so helpful and cheerful too as well as the restaurant and housekeeping staff. It make the customer so welcome. However the towel must change it kind of dirty n black already but overall with the good attitude n happy spirit from the staff it make the guests stay enjoyable n happy.

GGuest UserStay for 2 night in July..(Sat-Mon) with Breakfast Hotel lobby not So big but its long shape..Love the elevator located where hide from FO counter but direct to main access n Lobby. Cons -Even the location is in Nagoya,but its not in central nagoya where u cant find food or city walk easily.(its stil acceptable where u can use transport) -The sink in toilet room Number 8007 is almost clogged,the water from sink bowl dissappear slowly. - Omellete station during Breakfast on 11/7 very slow,I order the omelette 1st before enter the dining area(coz the omelette station is beside lift).After i take my food,wait very long for my omelette to ready.I finish all my breakfast already then the omelette is arrived.very spoils my morning. -Not a walking distance to attractions. Pros. -Good FO,F&B(except mention above),HK and concierge team.They all serve with smile n generous. -The attitude of staf is show how good is indonesia hospitality. -Even the pools not so big and the gym is small.But this is enough for you to relax n enjoy the facilities while see the view of nagoya town. -affordable price hotel room -delicious buffet spread(i really means it). -The lady in black suits (F&B incharge on 10&11/7 is really good.She really makesure all the food is top up and cust have enough food).But i forget her name. -Room is quite good and its concept suitable for couple due to the toilet is glass wall n using only white blinder.(we like it coz we r couple). -They using Presidential suite hotel collection mattress and its really good for me. -i like how simple the minibar and kettle design. -good lightning in room -nice view from room. -Good HK team in cleaning our room when we out to town. -I like when hotel using card scanner in lift to room level,its very secure n privacy. -Love the smells of the lobby n room -its sound proof quite good -And the Air conditioner its really good,well maintain and cools.(we in asean hv very hot temperatures,and good AC is must in hotel). GGuest UserI don’t give 1/5 reviews. I am only triggered when the cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. This hotel gave me a room that I had to walk through a smoke reeked corridor. When I went into the room, I got a room that had so much wordless shakes than nods of approval. 1) Toilet was not clean. There was mold. 2) Room had to be “perfumed” with a packet of something hanging on the air con duct 3) ALL the towels in the room were stained. Asked for a new set and it was STILL stained 😳. 4) No shampoo as a 4 star hotel. 5) Recycled bed room slippers ( of which I am fine ) but it was stained with dubious stuff. 6) Room picture hangs precariously over my head. 7) The extra bed I paid extra for came without a bed frame and was placed on the floor. Housekeeping said it is like that 😵💫 Management has to do something. The poor housekeeping got a hard time from me 🙏🏻

GGuest UserBooked 3X Executive rooms reached early at around 9-10am but was given only one room for our luggages and told us only able to check in at 2pm so we went to shop and return only at 7pm to check in the remaining 2 rooms and to found out that the initial corner room given to us earlier on was having eerie vibes and so we went for a change of room but was told rooms fully booked on the same floor but after overheard the conversation from other hotel guest who came to check in found out that there are 2 remaining rooms left so we ask the receptionist again and got our initial room changed but we found out another problem whereas the Room type given after change and before change are also of the wrong room type deluxe room instead of Executive rooms as there is huge size difference in the room compared to the other 2 rooms.
