Friendly helpful staff. Lovely comfortable beds with more luxurious linen than usual. Hot showers. 3 elevators so never any waiting for one. Large continental breakfast (no hot food). Located on street with lots of restaurants. Bank 2 blocks away. Perhaps has soundproofing since there was no noise through the night.

I stayed here for a couple nights and the hotel is in very good shape, everything still smells new. The location isn't really good, there's literally nothing around, you will need an Uber to go anywhere. Never take a taxi in Chile!!! They will totally rip you off. Front desk people isn't friendly or welcoming at all but I think that's everywhere in Chile.

Breakfast is simple, but it is appetizing! Praise! Never have a room on the 4th floor! Too small and too small! The color of the room is too depressed! The floor is too slippery, be careful. The video is a restaurant, the restaurant decoration is not commented, things are very delicious! In general, eating in this house is the right choice, the room is too bad...

I’ve just stayed for 5 days/4 nights in this service apartment. The check-in was very smooth and they allowed me to get my loft much earlier, which I appreciated after a more than 24-hours flight. The loft is very spacious and well equipped. The moment I’ve entered, I felt home. The location could have not been any better. Just a few metres to all the attractions in Santiago de Chile. Restaurants and Cafés are near by, not typical for tourists more for locals. The AC works well for the kitchen/living room area, but not for the bedroom area. Fortunately, it cooled down outside, so I could open the window until early morning, when it became noisy. Cleaning was not included, but for 15 USD they did it. Floor from the lift to the room was always occupied with laundry- big minus!!! English is spoken at the reception.

My Wife age 69 toured all over Sth America 4 months altogether now and myself 7 months, this is probably “THE BEST VALUE ON A LIMITED BUGET HOTEL” l have ever over here, come across, l booked here because it was recommended in “South American 2021 Edition of *LONELY PLANET* Travel Advice Books on a Limited Budget. We stayed here for 9 nights altogether for $71 per night, with a Great Continental Breakfast (see photos below). The staff are very Friendly, especially NANCY ( who speaks fluent English), she helped us with all things, like booking cheap local taxi’s, advising places to go, catching buses to other cities, etc. The other staff who are all from Venezuela, although only speak Spanish, are all very friendly and bend over backwards to help, you can communicate using a Translator App, write in English, converts to Spanish.

They have an excellent location near parks and tourist sites in Santiago, and there is a supermarket a few steps, the departments are comfortable with everything necessary to cook, The most important thing departments are very clean because they give more confidence to be there staff is very service and friendly so I recommend 100% this place !!!

Good morning, first of all, I would like say good things about the Doubletree Hilton Vitacura, was a great hotel, good location and close to the Mall and good restaurants around. Me and my 2 sisters and my mother stayed from 28/05 until 04/06 in the hotel and we were very proud with the service, all the employees were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was the best part, which offered lots of options cold and hot buffet for everyone and specially for the waiter Leonardo and everyone else that gave us a good service and was very good. I would really love to thank everyone from the hotel Concierge, Breakfast Team, Housekeeping, Front Desk people and we had a wonderful time. I recommend this hotel and hope to see u guys next time.

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. The environment is beautiful, the location is good, there is a large supermarket next to it, the rooms are comfortable and hygienic, and the morning is rich. Facilities are very user-friendly and the scenery outside the window is good. Good value for money, but also staying next time.
