Hotels near Webster Groves Skatepark, St. Louis

Location was good 20 mins from downtown St. Louis. The lobby is pretty and was very clean. The pool is nice but I would stay away from the hot tub as it seemed to have a layer of dead skin floating at the top of it. The room itself is really nice and very clean it is a great stay for family or a solo get away the rooms look exactly like they do in the photos.

After seeing the reviews about bed bugs I didn’t want to book here but we needed a last minute hotel for the night. After staying the night I can say that we had a great experience. This hotel was close to downtown and a great price. Customer service was on point. The room was clean and comfortable. Cons: Cigarette smell throughout lobby and elevator. The room patio door doesn’t close fully and lock. We were on the side of the Main Street so we heard the cars all night. Not the most aesthetically pleasing room. There were a lot of minor scratches and stains in the room. The linen was clean but the mattress itself had a lot of hair and crumbs on it. Trash under/behind bed. The shower had a lot of dirt stains in it. The toilet doesn’t flush well. A lot of the outlets do not work in the room. I think if these things were to be fixed this would be a top accommodation. Overall, since we were looking for a last minute 1 night stay this place was a great accommodation for us. But would definitely not come back for an extended stay unless the issues were dealt with.

My trip was OK until I got ready to check out. My vehicle has been sitting in front of the hotel lobby in everybody’s way for six hours. I left my keys with the valet service to go park my vehicle. No one knew where my car keys were at my vehicle had been moved over to the side. The staff was just avoiding me in the situation saying they would call me back and then they wouldn’t. It was time to check out I didn’t want to have to pay for another night I was supposed to be at work I missed work. Finally the front desk called me they had found my keys they did not tell me where. They took the parking charge off of my bill and that was it. I really thought they should wave they charge for my entire stay I missed a days work almost lost my job and went through countless hours of stress because that’s the only set of keys I had. I’m not so sure someone didn’t take my jeep somewhere all night and bring it back early in the morning. I don’t see how I could’ve sat in that spot all night long in everyone’s way without someone getting a hold of me. There is a half a tank a gas gone and I’m not sure about the mileage. I think I deserve a refund for my stay personally 

Staying at ”The Chase” is an absolute pleasure. It is an extremely gorgeous hotel that offers rooms (and furnishings) that are very comfortable and clean. It is located in the ”Central West End” and is convenient to entertainment, museums, tourist attractions, a plethora of restaurants, and other things to see and do in St. Louis. It is located across from ”Forest Park” (a 1,300 acre urban park) that contains The St. Louis Zoo, Planetarium, Art Museum, Worlds Fair Pavilion (circa 1904), and Missouri History Museum. Most facilities do not charge admission. All of these attractions are right across the street from ”The Chase”. The only thing better than staying in an area that satisfies so many interests, is staying in a hotel that is welcoming, historic and truly, One of a kind.

The room is very clean, the space is large, close to the University of St. Louis, near St. Louis, this hotel accounts for the top1 of Ctrip's best-selling hotel. After staying, it is indeed worthy of the name!

I have never stayed in an Aloft hotel before and I will never stay there again. I was traveling with 2 other people for a total of 3 people in 2 queen beds, this hotel charges for the third person. The bathroom door would not stay closed, and the toilet sounded like a freight train. The towels were cheap as well as the decor. Definitely not worth the price that they charged including and added fee for parking.

We had a large group of folks from out of town to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. We heard zero complaints from any of the guests! We reserved the Studio Commons and it was lovely! So much space and perfect for getting hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding. There was a great view of downtown from the huge window. There is a full kitchen and we fried up some bacon for our bloody marys. We ordered room service both mornings which included a huge pot of hot coffee an extra large jug of Tropicana orange juice with bagels, toast, and mini muffins. They also sent our own bowl of fresh fruit. Coming and going was easy with valet service. The Upbar had a club vibe for after the wedding. The courtyard gardens are beautiful and relaxing for more personal visits with friends and family. We worked with Robyn for all of our arrangements and she was awesome and very accommodating! We will definitely utilize the element in the future for our of town guests.

The location was great if you are attending an event at the soccer stadium, Union Station or the Enterprise Center. Easy to walk to all those locations. This property was easy to get to off the freeway and has on-site parking ($10/day). Hotel has been updated and was very nice. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. No free breakfast in the morning, but you can purchase food and coffee there. I would stay there again when going to downtown St. Louis.

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel and grounds are phenomenal. I highly suggest paying the couple dollars extra for valet parking- saves TONS of walking and time! The valet staff were very professional and accommodating. Upon arrival, (it was very late at night) we arrived and pulled up to the hotel- valet immediately came out and offered to assist; I asked for general hotel parking and was kindly directed toward the area- upon arrival to that area (not really close to the entrance- general parking lot is like $35/day)- we chose to return to front door valet for $40.... Parking is overall expensive. But, we were assisted in unloading our car and immediately taken to our reserved room. Hotel is very impressive, the lobby is beautiful- and the property is rich with history (former actual station); the room was nice, very clean, and quiet- despite the multiple wedding events occurring over the weekend. There are many restaurant and food service/delivery options available. The staff was the BEST! The grounds included hourly light shows over pier/Koi fish pond; Landry Seafood onsite, along with- Ferris wheel (my kids loved), putt-putt golf, small slide/park area... It was really a great experience to stay here. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has multiple on-site entertainment options (along with an aquarium)- minutes SAFE walk to multiple major attractions. Bed was incredibly comfortable. We stayed long enough to need extra towels- I notified/requested the front desk for additional, and they were delivered to our room within 10 minutes. Upon arrival, we were unable to locate the TV remote- called the front desk and was immediately delivered a new remote for the TV. We did not have any major issues, but even our minor needs were met with utmost speed. I highly recommend this hotel for family and couples.
