It’s a great hotel. I booked here because of the rainbow bridges direct access to the beach - the booking is non refundable. Perfect location. Porters and kitchen staff and chef are polite and delightful. I booked a hotel package . Which included a yacht trip . Also upon checking the website it said languages spoken Chinese and English. Upon check in it was lovely that they allowed us into the hotel room earlier than 3pm . The welcome was a bit cold. No smiles just nervous dealing with English speakers . It was not told to us upon arrival about the construction and no access to the rainbow Bridge from the hotel which leads to the beach . In the room there was a note of apology in Chinese . Seeing that the main reason for us booking here was direct access to the beach it not already dampened our reservation/ which is no fault of the hotel if it’s government regulations. However prior to check in I believe an email should have been sent stating that . As the Bridge is the main attraction. So if you’re booking there now bear in mind construction and no easy access. Beach rules no entering the water after 6 pm even though sun is still up : The hotel doesn’t provide tea cups for the tea they provide in the room . We needed to use glass cups which is used to drink cold liquids . Foreigners make tea using g boiling water so we need a cup with ceramic handles at least . When I asked for one from the kitchen I didn’t receive a reply from The reception desk and I was told by house keeping there was none . The dilemma with the inclusive day yacht trip was only resolved due to Trip.com help . They treated us well after the complaint of them not being able to compensate or include us. The trip was pleasant . The breakfast buffet and staff are pleasant . The dinner buffet was great and the kitchen staff very accommodating and welcoming. The beach umbrellas were no in use . No beach towels provided . No bedroom slippers except the rubber ones for shower/ beach .

I don’t usually bother myself writing reviews for the hotels. But it was such a pleasure to stay in DaDongHai hotel! Clean and nice, the staff really went above and beyond helping me with any little problem I had. Loved their small but SUPER clean pool with a beer bar nearby. Also, they got probably the best hotel gym I ever worked out in. Lots of equipment for strength training and cardio. Very close to the beach and other places to go for food or a drink. Very friendly and generous room cleaning ladies. Thanks for their work! Next time I’m in Sanya, I won’t even look up other hotels - will come back to DaDongHai.

The hotel is very old, the room we stayed in definitely needs renovation, and probably so do other rooms. The view is nice, though. The biggest disappointment was “private beach”. As the hotel staff pointed out, all the beaches in Sanya are now public, so no private beach whatsoever. The only thing the hotel could offer is a private gate to the beach, which was only open for one day during our stay, then it got closed because of some construction works at the beach. So, to get to the beach, we needed to take a detour through the main street which was awfully inconvenient. Just imagine going all the way back covered in sand and everything😡 The hotel has two swimming pools, one of them was closed. The other one was fine, no problem here. All in all, the hotel was quite a disappointment, not going back there again.

I have been living in Harman Hotel for 22 days . The service is very good , convenient location . I just fell in love with the bakery there, bread is really fresh and delicious. I would like to say special thank you for Guest Service officer Mr Chen who can speak Russian for his attentive service , Office Manager gentleman who wear white uniform at the reception , unfortunately , I forgot his name for helping me to change my room , I appreciate. Further more thank you to Guest Service Manager who helped me to handle my dress issue in the shop, so kind of you. Ms 西西 who works at night and helped me to upgrade my room upon my arrival. Sisi at guest service for delicious night fruits and young lady trainee on the reception.

From my client: I stayed in the modern part of the hotel on the 13th floor. The view was stunning, the room was huge, and there were many amenities inside. The strangest thing was that the room lacked a refrigerator and kitchen utensils. In December (during my stay), the pool was completely closed, and there was no information about it. In fact, you find out about it not at the reception, but at the pool itself. As an experienced traveler who always moves around on my own, the hotel's location was quite advantageous. There are many small cafes nearby, a long beach, a beautiful wooden promenade, and several public transport stops, which are a 5-15 minute walk away. The hotel has private parking, which is convenient if you have rented a car. What can I say about breakfast? The reception and breakfast restaurant are located in the old part of the hotel. There is little lighting, the decor is old, and there is little aesthetic appeal. The cuisine is Chinese with elements of European food. Tourists who bought package tours and stayed in this part of the hotel had much worse rooms (the rooms were not renovated at all, the carpets were old, the wall paint was not great) than I did, who booked accommodation through this app. I would like to separately mention the work of the staff. The employees only speak Chinese, and they have no desire to assist you if you are a foreigner because they seem shocked and totally confused by you. Upon check-in, they did not provide any additional gifts that were provided by Trip.com when purchasing accommodation. As they say, the law there is one: if you need something, you have to insist on it using a Chinese translator and supporting documents. By the way, upon check-in, you have to leave a deposit, and most importantly, keep the deposit receipt so that you can get it back later.

In comparison to my 3 weeks of hotel stay in 7 cities in China, this hotel has to be the most disappointing experience. Breakfast was poor. There’s a sign for coffee but nothing offered across the 3 nights we stayed there. No bacon or fried eggs nor western bakeries. However, there’s limited congee , noddles, cooked veggies & white bread with only one strawberry jam offered . We’re there at 750 am but was told some items was already out of stock. Limited napkins provided in dining area. Room was smelly of tropical dampness, but air conditioning helps. $300 deposit was required for room damage precautions. My friend has an argument over tainted bedsheet caused by previous patrons but has to prove it. So check your bedroom before committing. Location was fairly good, with walking distance to the beach and side street offered various food services and massages. Second level inaccessible by elevator but no one tells us until much later. Russian tourists loved this area & the abundance of Russian posters & welcoming signs told the story.

Lovely Hotel near the centre, easy to get a DIDI to all places. Beach with in walking distance. Close to the Dolphin Western food Café & Bar for good food morning, afternoon and night. Hotel pool open till 6pm, KFC on site. The staff could not speak English, but we communicated with a translation app, no problems checking in or out. Nice affordable Hotel

Very good accommodation experience. The location is near the Dadonghai Sea. It is very quiet. The room is big, spacious and clean. The British style children like it very much. It is always my go to hotel . It’s affordable for longer stays . The location is good close proximity to the beach and food outlets . My only complaint would be that I requested a late check out ( which I would pay for the extra hours) but was refused . So I decided to book an extra night ( so I could have a late check out ) paid the full price and the same room was given . We just wanted to check out at 4 pm as we were heading directly to the airport and I was willing to pay for that 4 hours . Other than that they always clean our room and everything was fine

2023.03.25 On the day, stay in Room 1103 of Sanya's upstairs sea view residence (accommodation Dadonghai Branch), Unit 1 of Building 4 in Haiyunyuan Community. This store is a homestay apartment, arranged in a set of three. The size of the room is OK, there is a private bathroom, no smell, mattresses, washing machines, etc. The balcony can see some of the Dadonghai sea views. It is very convenient to eat and buy around. There is a parking lot and it costs 10 yuan a day. It is suitable for people who like to live at home and have no service interruption. It may have entered the off-season and the price is good. The dishes at the fast food restaurant ”Mr. Kitchen” next to it are very delicious, cheap and good quality, which is the reason for me to stay here for a few more days. The air conditioning noise of this apartment was upgraded to seriously disturb sleep on the last night. I hope the store will pay attention to and deal with it.

The picture room we booked was not arranged on the first day. Compared with this room, the environment is much worse, there is no sea view, and it is relatively old. The boss said that it was because other people stayed on May 1st and they were not vacated. Later the next day they helped us move the luggage again. It passed, but the newly opened large bucket of purified water also leaked. I asked the boss on WeChat and did not reply to me. The room on the second day matches the picture. I booked earlier and the price is not expensive, but I personally think that the room standard cannot be lowered because of this. Attach the room view from the second day, forget it on the first day

It was a very good stay experience. The room was clean and hygienic. I saw that the sheets and quilts were changed after each guest and were professionally disinfected and cleaned at high temperature. I felt at ease during my stay. Downstairs is a snack street, which is very convenient for eating. When the sun sets, go for a walk on the beach. The sea breeze feels so good. The boss is very nice and will provide a lot of help.
