Location 5 stars, access dongdaemun metrol stn from hotel B1 / LL. Many places to shop nearby. Clean and spacious room. Hotel is bless with many good staff that speak good english, attentive and helpful! Only complaint is I am given a room that face the wall of next building. Advise to request for room with at least a view of the city.

Excellent. The check-in and check out was quick and easy. Breakfast was abit expensive but quite good. The room was abit spacious, and clean. Location was about 6min slow walk away from DDP station. exit 12 lift. Location was walkable to Gwangjang market for food. Kudos to the cleanliness, location and amenities.

Love this hotel so much. Room is spacious, new and clean. It is also a smart room. Only down side is need to pay expensive dental kit, shaver or amenities. Location is about 600m away from subway and surrounding got nothing much. Cos I’m taking taxi so it’s not much of an issue. About S$5-S$6 to myeongdong, dongdaemun or nandaemun. Staff is efficient on my request and English speaking. Facilities are well maintained too.

The hotel is very well located in Dongdaemun with the building connected to Hyundai outlet malls and doota. Everything is within walking distance for night shopping and also DDP which is the new culture park. Right out of the doorstep there is a food street and many restaurants. Room is clean with a functioning AC. The size of the room is relatively good for this class of hotel, providing ample space for 2 large suitcases. There is everything you need in the room. The TV channels are international as well covering all languages. I would bring own slippers as they only provide reusable rubber ones and you would need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as they do not provide it. There is a 24hr CU mart inside the hotel which is like a local 7-11. There is also a GoKart experience in the hotel on the 14/f which is kinda fun for a group of friends. Transportation routes are easy and all the taxi drivers seem to know of this hotel. I would recommend staying here for those that are roaming the Dongdaemun and it’s surrounding areas.

The hotel location is perfect and it is right infront of the lift exit 4 from DDP train station. It has airport bus stop right in front of the hotel to Incheon Airport. It may take 2 hours traveling time to airport because the bus will drop by many places around Seoul before heading to airport. The room is spacious and clean.

It's a good hotel on a budget. Has a very homely breakfast and water dispenser to fill up your bottles with ice and water. Also has robes to use as pyjamas. Very no frills. Don't expect service from the staff. We expected to be able to check in earlier when we reached if the room was available. We reached only about 15mins to our check in time but were told to wait at the lobby till 1600. I am not sure what the fixation is about for the check in time. If the room is available, then let the guest have it. First time we have experienced this in any country.

Service was inconsistent - sometimes the staff were really nice and friendly and other times they were plain rude and disrespectful to you. When I first entered my room the smell took me aback. It smelled like a mix of sweat and wet socks. The sheets were crumpled and weren’t super clean either. The bathtub had yellow stains which threw me off as I was looking forward to a midnight soak. Basic amenities were given, which was great. The housekeeping ladies were really sweet as well. It’s a 5 minute walking distance to the train station so location was not so bad. Sadly I don’t think I’d book again as it was not that worth for the price.

The guesthouse is within walking distance from Hyehwa Station. The nightlife around this estate is also very lively, so rest assured should you need to return back later in the evening. The complimentary breakfast served is decent - you get a choice of toasted bread with spread, instant ramen or oatmeal. This is coupled with some milk, fruit juice, coffee, tea and water. However, you will need to prepare the meals yourself and clean the dishes after that. A caution that the room can seem rather small and cramped (for those needing a spacious design when selecting your overseas accommodation). My individual shower facilities also had a stench odour of what seemed like sewage, which was the main disappointing portion. If not, the rest of the facilities are good enough - e.g. The toilet bowls are clean and fitted with smart toilet seats, providing a warm sitting experience for those relieving yourselves during the winter season in Korea. The hosts were also very friendly, despite their limited proficiency in spoken English Language. There is also a shared desktop computer for your internet usage in the balcony, as well as a smart television in each room with internet-based programmes (e.g. Netflix, YouTube, Disney Plus etc.). I will strongly recommend this accommodation to those seeking a value-for-money option, solo travellers wanting a communal yet safe space to have a roof under their heads for the night. Not for the introverted nature - you will have plenty of opportunities to interact and dine with many strangers, of which some might become your global friend!

I used this hotel for a 3-night, 4-day trip to Korea. They spoke to me in Japanese when I checked in! I arrived at the hotel late, but there was always a staff member there, so I felt very safe! It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk straight from Exit 10 of Dongdaemun Station. As other people have said, there were many slopes and the roads were bumpy, so it was difficult to roll the carrier. There were no slopes and the roads were clean from Hyehwa Station, so it seems better to use that! It's also about a 10-minute walk from the hotel to Hyehwa Station! The room was very clean and we were able to spread out two carriers properly. The view from the room was also very beautiful. The bathroom was also clean, so we didn't have any problems. There is a large hospital nearby, so you can hear the sounds of ambulances and other vehicles several times at night. I didn't mind it. There is a convenience store and Starbucks nearby! I've always wanted to stay at this hotel, so I'm glad I was able to stay for 3 nights! I'd like to use it again when I come to Korea!

The young lady at the front desk of the hotel is super good, and the booking on Ctrip is also very fast. We searched for several hotels, but they were all booked and refunded, and the online and offline were inconsistent. This one was booked online, and an email was sent immediately, very much. There is a convenience store around, and you can store your luggage in advance. It's very good. There is a big cockroach in the room, and the trembling slippers are killed. I still hope that the cleaning can be done. thanks
