The hotel is well located in the heart of Gusu district. There are many busy streets around with clothing stores and restaurants. The hotel itself is large. The check in was pleasant, as was checking out. There are some English speaking staff if speaking Chinese is not possible. We stayed in the Premier Queen room, which was completely fine. Comfy bed, working appliances. The only issue was that the tap in the sink was leaking for our whole stay. We probably should have brought it up. The pool is nice, a 5th floor open deck area. Unfortunately, it is only open after 4:30pm. They have a pretty decent gym, as far as wanting to exercise while staying in a hotel goes anyway. Fair to say we would gladly stay again if we chose to go back to Suzhou.

This is the first time I write a ✍️ review. We arrived at the hotel at 9pm, and the hotel even gave me an extra breakfast coupon for a child. I am very grateful to the hotel for its generosity. When you go out of the hotel, turn right and you will see Pingjiang Road, which is just a few steps away. It's 100m away. It's very close to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Lion Grove and the Suzhou Museum. The Pipa Museum and Pingtan are also not far away. It's a great place to bring your children. It's quite convenient. You can spend two or three days in Suzhou. Here, my dad felt that the hotel restaurant was the most satisfying meal he had. The pickled cucumbers are definitely the best in cold dishes. The breakfast in the hotel was also pretty good 👍 Overall it was pretty good!

After checking in to the Xiangqu Twin Room booked in advance, the front desk upgraded me to a Superior Twin Room. The overall feeling was great! All details are in place, including complimentary tea and afternoon tea. When we first arrived at the hotel, it was very inconvenient that our mobile phones were out of battery and could not be turned on. When the luggage storage attendant in the lobby found out, he took out a spare charger and immediately solved the problem. He also took our luggage and led us to the designated room (I'm sorry that I didn't remember which one, thank you very much! ) The room is clean and tidy, there are complimentary sachets on the bedside table, fruits are delivered by the waiter in the evening, and there are guzheng and pipa performances in the lobby. Breakfast is a buffet with a full range of options, combining Chinese and Western styles, and the Soviet-style pastries are delicious! We have an appointment to visit Nanyuan. Not many hotels near Guanqian Street had open windows, so I chose the Hanting Hotel with windows. The sanitation is relatively clean, there is no obvious dust, the aunt is very nice, she cleans up every day, puts on new mineral water and very soft disposable slippers, and there is free mineral water for guests to drink in the lobby. There is also free coffee, which is nice to have to relieve swelling before going out to play. The service attitude of the waiters at the front desk is also very good. The overall experience was good. The bad points are that there is a garbage station outside, and there will be the sound of garbage trucks in the middle of the night. It is noisy, but it does not last long, and the mattress is spring. After sleeping for three days, my back hurt for two days. . . The hotel is snuggled nicely in the busy part of the town called gusu district. Outside may not be appealing, but the rooms are nicely decorated and room facilities are great. Sandals are cute and comfy. Providing unlimited bottled water and bottled oolong tea . They also offer free laundry service. The front desk staff are very efficient , friendly and willing to help beyond their responsibilities. Moreover, the car team offers free drive to the Suzhou museum. Mr. Zhang, their team leader, is the best source of local sightseeing surrounding the hotel and beyond. Overall, Man Xin will be my regular hotel each time i visit Suzhou. Paying a 3* hotel with a service of a 5*.

The hotel is very clean and have free laundry which is a big plus for us! Staffs are friendly! It’s not on the main street so you need to go through a parking lot in order to see the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was a few hundred meters away from the subway station which was convenient to travel around the city. Upon check-in the staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. There were a few others checking in and the staff had no order in doing this. It was chaos. The lady at the check-in actually helped others who arrived after me to check-in first. It was very unprofessional and quite frustrating for us. I will not stay at this hotel nor would I recommend it to other friends, I'd rather stay at other hotels in the area.

Really popular old hotel, lots of people. Staff spoke English (which is not the norm in China). The hotel has a “theme”, not sure which theme it is (😂), but at least is not a copy-paste business hotel. Latin music was playing in the lobby. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots and lots of options. From rabbit candy to pork buns. The best thing is that it is included for free. The not so good part: room shows the age of the hotel. A bit dusty in some areas, bathroom door didn’t fully close. Leaving a considerable gap. My girlfriend and I had to take turns to use the toilet comfortably, but we were there only one night so it wasn’t a deal breaker. We got a really really good deal for the one night + breakfast, so I feel that its short comings can be excused.

Very good location, in the center of the old town, walking distance to Guangchien Street, easy access to subway system. I stayed three nights, very friendly and helpful staff, helped me getting around. I forgot to bring some of my pernal items that I left in my room, and I called them after two days of my departure, the staff immediately located my stuff and send them back to me via courier with n hour. When I travel, I like to stay in a homestay, where I can truly experience the local lifestyle and cultural customs. I accidentally found Gujia Inn in the accommodation recommended by Ctrip. The location is excellent and it is very close to popular attractions. As soon as you enter the door, you will be attracted by the antique style of the inn, and the facilities are simple and convenient. The owner of the inn must be a very experienced collector. The inn is full of friends' calligraphy, exquisite tea sets, and elegant classical furniture. The owner and his wife are warm and hospitable. With them as senior guides, it is much more convenient to go out and play. Looking forward to coming to Suzhou again next time.

How did I even find a place in such a perfect location for such a price? The hostel is located between Leqiao and Chayuanchang stations. Leqiao is an interchange for 2 lines which you will take very frequently. Across the road from the hostel is Guanqian Road. I got the private room, it was clean and just like what you see in the pictures. The toilet and bathroom walls are glass though, which is fine for me since I'm solo, but if you're travelling with someone that might be something you want to consider. The people at the hostel are really helpful and friendly too. In general I found people in Suzhou to be really friendly. I liked the place and it's definitely a place I wouldn't mind returning to again.

Ok for the price. Room has a peculiar layout but it work perfect for us, small but very spacious. Overall cleanliness ok, but some furniture was dusty, and the room could donwith a coat of paint. The cleaning lady was kind and helpful, every morning with a smile! The staff at the front desk was nice, some didn't speak much English (or at all). We asked for a late check-out, that was easy, even with the language barrier. Location was ok too. The building is on a main avenue, almost next to Guanqiang St (restaurants, shopping, night life), but maybe a bit far from Pingjiang Old Town. Metro Station is 2 minutes away, super convenient since is the line coming directly from the Train Station.
