We stayed at the inn on a snowy December weekend. The inn is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We chose the Chardonnay room on the 2nd floor of the main house. The bed and bathroom are luxurious and the gas fireplace is gorgeous. The innkeepers and owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We took several of their recommendations. As far as amenities, we used the sauna in the spa next door and we also booked an outside fire to be set up. There is also an outside hot tub you can request. Breakfasts are delicious and focus on actual local food sources. Thank you to Rose, Melissa, Rachel, and the team for making my birthday stay so special!

We stayed at the Inn with two other couples. Everything was wonderful!! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Michelle, the Innkeeper, was warm, friendly and gracious and was always there to meet any of our needs. We highly recommend the Inn to anyone vacationing in this area.

Located in a small ,quiet town within a short distance from main attractions and 10 min. from Ithaca. Very creative and most tasty dishes for breakfast. Free ,delicious pastries at the afternoon. The rooms: since each room is different, make sure you know what you get. Do not be deceived by the beautiful photos. We were given the Merlot “suite”. This is a tiny room with no space at all to put any luggage but the highlight is that you enter the room through the bathroom /toilet. This is not a room for paying guests and definitely not a suite .” Miraculously”, there were a few other rooms available and we were given another room. We left with a feeling that they first try to occupy this room. The other room had a glass window , right below the ceiling across from the bed, allowing strong light to enter the room as early as dawn.

Everything about the Inn is a delight. The room was lovely, the breakfasts were interesting and delicious and everyone was warm and welcoming. All the food was farm to table and even the coffee was great. Good parking and an excellent location. Good local restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Inn At Gothic Eves. We so appreciated the friendliness of Melissa and Michelle. The room was clean, the location was within walking distance to several restaurants and markets and the homemade breakfast each morning was especially nice. Our only suggestion for Gothic Eves is to include a complimentary wine and snacks station, much like other B&Bs offer. Doing so wouldn't cost them much and would really round out the homely experience. Otherwise, we loved every aspect of our stay and we wanted to call out just how kind everyone was.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at this adorable Bed and Breakfast! The room was small but beautiful. The staff was helpful and accomodating. Our highlight was the delicious breakfast that was primarily locally sourced and the spa. We had massages from Suzanne and she is amazing! Highly recommend!

The best part about our stay was our host, Michelle, she gave the best local recommendations. Everything she told us to check out was fantastic, like the local farmer’s market. Communication was excellent, even before we arrived. The house itself was lovely & historic. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet: we slept very well. We appreciated the mini fridge with freezer in the common area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Next time we come back we will definitely book a spa treatment in their building next door. We would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

Overall a nice B&B with a few areas for improvement. I traveled with two friends for a girls weekend. The Inn was beautifully decorated and I loved my room (The Pinot Suite) Everything was very clean and the jacuzzi tub in my bathroom was amazing! The massage at the spa was absolute heaven. I had Raven as my massage therapist and she was fantastic. My two friends also said that their therapists were amazing. The sauna was relaxing and the treatment rooms were so nice with the exposed stone walls! The breakfasts were good (on par with other B&B’s that I have visited). We enjoyed the use of the outdoor hot tub on both nights that we were there. Some areas for improvement include better communication. I was under the impression that check-in was anytime between 3-6 so my friends and I were surprised when we received a call at around 4:30 inquiring where we were. I am thinking that maybe we said we were arriving earlier when we booked? We would have called but just assumed that we could come anytime between those hours. Also, Michelle had been great about calling ahead to book our massages but nothing was said about reserving the hot tub so we were disappointed when we arrived and were told it was booked for the night. Luckily someone canceled and we got in but I can’t help but wonder if there is a better way to do this. Michelle was super sweet but when we asked her for restaurant recommendations on the first night she didn’t really have anything specific other than just heading down to the main drag in Ithaca. The robes in the room are great but it would be nice to have the sandals that are available in the spa in the actual rooms or let people know to pack these. I was walking around in my robe and sneakers to the hot tub and spa. Also, it was not communicated if we were supposed to wear our room robes on the trek to the spa next door or if additional robes would be made available at the spa. In addition, it was not communicated what path to take from the main building to the spa so I felt pretty uncomfortable walking in a robe and sneakers from the main building to the spa on a busy roadway. Also, we were not told how to work the outdoor hot tub. When I asked, Michelle was apologetic but it just wasn’t communicated in the beginning. My friends who are both coffee drinkers said that they were unable to get coffee before breakfast even though we were told that a French press would be available. Maybe just a Keurig in the main living area by the community fridge would work. A few times, I went to the fridge looking for water and they were out. The Pinot room was beautiful but the mattress was just ok. A little firm for me but might be just right for others. Tucking the TV/Roku wires under the screen would help with the overall aesthetic. The lampshades on the nightstands looked a bit worn. Overall a beautiful Inn and Michelle was very nice and answered our questions it just seemed a bit busy and maybe she was a little overwhelmed running b
