The Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

At the top of a downtown tower is the Oakwood Suites Yokohama. Upon arrival; after parking in the hotel's underground car park, we arrived at the reception with a breathtaking view of the city of Yokohama and Mount Fuji in the distance. Our rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. They were very large with a large, very well-equipped kitchen, a magnificent bathroom, a washing machine and a breathtaking view of the harbour. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was exemplary. We had a very pleasant stay and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

The Regency Club staff at this hotel are some of the best in the industry. Staff that made our 15 night stay feel like home: Shoko, Risako, Chiaki, Shelley, Futoshi, Bianca, Mizuki, Hsegawa and some others but unfortunately I didn't get their names. They helped me with all me needs and questions including helping me with reservations and travel plans. They all speak English and are super patient with families. The rooms are super clean and modern. Housekeeping is amazing and made sure our baby diaper pail was changed each day and every inch of our room was clean. I opted for a suite which had an amazing bathroom with a super big tub. The blinds are automatic and the views are great. Breakfast buffet had so many choices and was so good. Hotel is 2 blocks from an amazing waterfront park and a 10 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium. 5 minute walk to Chinatown as well. The train is also less than a 5 minute walk and there is a 24 hour Lawson right across the street. Oh yea, a really special thanks to the bell-woman who waited with my luggage across the street in front of Lawson with the taxi while I ran back to my room after realizing I forgot my phone in the room after checking out.

The bathtub and shower room are separate 々, so you can take a bath time slowly. The night view of the Ferris wheel with the bathroom was also very beautiful. Breakfast is surrounded by palm trees and a buffet style restaurant with a southern atmosphere. There were many items and it was delicious. This time, the prefectural people were applied and we were able to stay at a reasonable price. It’s been over a year since our family of four travelled to Yokohama due to COVID. We were quite impressed with the lobby and friendly service upon arrival. Check-in at 2pm is nice and allows time to check out the city and eat your way through Chinatown (couple minutes walk!). It was our children’s nap time so we got settled into the room. In Japan there are hotels at which the a/c only blows warm/hot air during the winter months. We’ve been through this once before at a hotel in Karuizawa and had a horrible night’s sleep. After almost 2 hours of not being able to nap and the kids getting cranky due to the heated stuffiness of the room, we decided to just check out, cut our trip short to return home, and likely eat the cost of the room. However upon hearing of our wish to check out, the front desk was more than accommodating and offered two separate rooms to choose from - both with actual cool air conditioning. Deputy Director Mr. Takaki Seto especially was beyond helpful and understanding of the need for our two small children to be comfortable. The new room was perfect and the a/c worked great. After the nice stay on the day of check-out, we were about to leave our room, but my wife discovered she had misplaced a very important sentimental ring. We spent an hour looking in the room for it to no avail. Our son had the brilliant idea to check the other room we were in for the two hours the day before. Mr. Takaki Seto not only let us back in the room but personally helped us search for 20 minutes. When we couldn’t find it, he called the front desk to check if the cleaning staff had found anything. They had! Only in Japan. The irreplaceable ring was returned. We gave our effusive apologies to Mr. Takaki Seto for his troubles yet he apologized for our worry. His kindness was amazing and we thank him again. Can’t say enough great things about the quality of hotel and the superb location. More importantly, the staff went well above and beyond. 5/5 and would definitely recommend!

Wi-Fi is connected. The lobby and hallways are new, but the interior feels a little old. The bed had a high-resilience mat that made it easy to toss and turn, which was great for resting my body after walking around Chinatown, the Cup Noodles Museum, and Yama****a Park. Booked the hotel room during festive season and was charged 190usd for the room. Room furniture and equipment are old and seem to be at least 20 years old. Room felt cold even with centralised heater on and wifi connection was unstable. There was also brown stain (coffee?) on the day curtain and the night curtain could not be closed completely. Would recommend that one source for other hotels in the vicinity (many) and likely could find a better option out there.

As someone wrote before, it hurts when the uneven concrete surface of the bathroom floor touches the soles of my feet, and I endure the pain while walking from the entrance to the open-air bath. At first, I thought I was not feeling well that day, but no matter how many times I went, the pain continued to persist even after I got home. Location and price are the reasons you should consider this hotel. Location is so convenient. A little walk to Kannai's ghetto, a little walk to Minato Mirai (ferris wheel, mall, cup noodle museum, etc), a short train trip to Yokohama, you are in the middle of all the business lunch specials. There's so much great food choices. My gosh, please look up lunch specials in the area. Generally, look for lines at 12pm. Those are the places that offer unbelievable value. We're talking a kaisendon for 600 yen ($5.50). If you are here long term and want to stay fit, you are a block away from Gold's Gym. They offer 2 weeks for 7000 yen, etc. Hotel is on the older side. It's a business hotel after all. It's small, you'll get your rest, you can work, you can shower, go down early for their breakfast special. The mattress was the rolling mattress which squeaks a lot (yes, it squeaks a lot). I was able to hear the neighbors, but sound machine did the job. Tip - They will offer to give you a water bottle for not cleaning your room. I don't want them in my room anyways so it was free water. They want you to hand them the keys before leaving. When you come back, you just say your room number, but this made me feel very uncomfortable. Anyone dressed normally can ask for a room key. The charger didn't work. This goes for most business hotels, but it's small. I hate the bathrooms that feel like you went inside a box. Workers were always friendly and professional. This place also seems to operate as a love hotel. There's a sign in the back that says they welcome ”puchi rest” which they charge you to stay for 3 hours for 2 people.

Exit Sakuragicho Station, cross the Washington Hotel signal intersection and go right, and cross the next intersection. The entrance to the hotel was a little difficult to understand, but the front entrance is next to the Italian along the main street. Overall it is clean and the elevator security is perfect. When I registered as a free member, I was happy to have a late check-out (12:00) and breakfast discount immediately. The breakfast place was Italian on the first floor and the jazz BGM was comfortable. Unfortunately, when I opened the lid of the toilet bowl in the room, there was still a urine-like dirt, so I put the hand soap on the paper and dropped it. I look forward to future cleaning checks. Also, when I go to Yokohama, I would like to add it to the candidate of the hotel I want to use.

It is a very good hotel with very polite response and cleanliness. However, I entered the front door to the intensity of the deodorant and immediately after the allergic rhinitis and throat pain and headache. Check in in a hurry. The room was also a little deodorant, so I was in a hurry and opened the window １０ centimeters, and the door was also opened and ventilated. Deodorant hurts the mucosa and the virus becomes easy to enter from there, so I would like to ask at the minimum. If you do not do filthy things, you do not need deodorant. I looked for the neighborhood because there was no parking lot. The parking fee is 3700 yen per night. It seemed to be cheap 1. There are several coin parking lots, but it is 300 yen ～ 330 yen in 15 minutes except for a certain time at night.

First of all, when I was taking a picture at the fashionable entrance, the staff asked me, ”Let's take a picture,” and I was happy to be able to take a picture of the couple. I stayed in a double room. It wasn't a corner room, but it was comfortable with two large windows and a small but bright and open atmosphere. There was all the electric switches on the head of the bed, and it was comfortable to operate while lying down. I enjoyed using the service of making my own bath salts and the service that I could borrow books and read in my room. I was worried if the ventilation fan in the bathroom was weak and the LED lights bordered by the mirror in the room disappeared immediately. I wondered if I could be satisfied so far at a very cheap price. I will use it again when I stay in Yokohama. Thank you very much!
