Manyuan Resort Hotel is located at a strategic location, easy access to ZhangJiaJie National Park and other scenery location.
Walkable distance to convenient stores and good restaurant.
Hotel cleanliness is great, hotel staff is wonderful that helps and explain tours well.

Most importantly- excellent service by Ms Xiao Xiao in purchasing park tickets & advice on routing. She deserves a big raise from the boss!

The hotel staff, 晓晓 contacted me after booking to ask if we need any help to arrange for ticket bookings etc. It's easy to communicate with them via wechat and we were replied promptly. There's some discount for booking entrance tickets via the hotel. The washing machine is located on the 1st floor and there is a dryer at every floor. The amenities provided is good and bed was comfortable. There were many sockets available to charge multiple devices. Location is also very convenient to get to the national park. There is a nice restaurant walking distance from the hotel, 筷乐湘西 recommended by the hotel which we went to twice. You can also get some discount if you mention that you're staying at this hotel. The breakfast spread in the hotel has many choices but would be better if jam or butter is provided to spread on toast. At the end of our stay, 晓晓 gave us gifts.

This hotel is very near to the East Gate of the Wulingyuan National Park. Walking distance by/along the river side takes only 10 mins or less. You may see the locals doing their laundry by the river.
Hotel staffs are helpful & friendy. There even care to share the informations of how going about within National Park. The room view is good facing the river side & not so noisy. Room is super spacious & beds too. Morning breakfast is buffet style & food is nice!
I definitely will come back to stay again!

Excellent location along the picturesque riverside in Wulingyuan. Nice clean rooms. A 10-15 minute walk from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Simple breakfast in the hotel saves time before heading out to the Park. Hotel manager was extremely helpful. Helped book us tickets for park attractions and was generous in providing tips on efficient sightseeing routes and dinner recommendations. She was also quick to respond via Wechat when needed help.

We had a wonderful and enjoyable 3 nights stay. Room with 2 super single bed , is spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful front desk, esp Ms. Man. Helped us purchase entrance tickets to the parks at a discount and arranged the transportation around town. Hotel is just a stone throw away to the Zhangjiajei National Park entrance.

We had a wonderful experience at Manyuan Resort. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, the entrance to the national park east gate is just a few minutes walking distance and the lovely ladies at the reception helped us buy all tickets and gave us great recommendations on how to walk through the park and how to best organize our sightseeing. Incredible hotel! Maybe the best I've ever stayed in, definitely the best I've been to in China. I usually stay in cheaper hotels though, so I'm not someone who has much experience with more luxurious hotels. That being said, the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. I loved the balcony overlooking the river. The breakfast was nice, I was happy with the laundry room, and the staff were very friendly. I would caution on two things: 1. there are regular helicopter tours over the river that are quite loud 2. the bridge to the main part of the town and the park gate is a bit of a walk, but you can also cross via stepping stones over the river which are much closer but not as accessible.
