- By car: Head down Leof. Vouliagmenis avenue; the building is at number 164. Free street parking is available nearby, though the property has no private car park.
- By bus: The "Aghios Ioannis" stop on Leof. Vouliagmenis (lines 140 and 218) is a couple of minutes' walk from the building.
- By tram: There is no tram stop in the Agios Ioannis area. The nearest one is Neos Kosmos (line T6), reachable in one metro stop or about a 10-minute walk; from there the tram connects directly to Zappio and Syntagma.
- By metro: Agios Ioannis station (red line, M2) is just a 5-minute walk away — one stop closer to the historic centre than Dafni station. It's just 3 stops from Acropolis station, next to the Acropolis Museum.
- By train: From Larissis station, take the red line towards Elliniko and get off at Agios Ioannis (approx. 15-18 minutes, no transfers).
- By taxi: You can book with Taxiplon for a reliable service to/from the airport or the city centre.
"Good location a fair distance away from the very crowded city center and tourist attractions, between 2 metro stations with plenty of food options. Not a good location if traveling by car due to lack of parking. Checking in/out was a simple process and the rooms are spacious with many amenities. Only missing washing machines, laundry has to be done at nearby laundromats."

We paid for Acropolis view room but no room sees the Acropolis actually; this was very disappointing when we paid more for this. If you go to the edge of balcony and lean it is possible to see a piece of it (another building

The hotel is not new or flashy, but it's very well maintained and clearly cared for. It's tucked away on a quiet side street in Plaka, yet it's easy to find and wonderfully located — just a short walk to Syntagma and all the main sights.
The rooms are pretty petite，(especially the lift)but tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Everything feels thoughtful and welcoming.
The breakfast is truly the highlight. It's not a huge spread, but everything is fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care especially the Greek breakfast. For the price point, it's a standout.

"A 10-15min walk from M3 Monastiriki Airport Line station. Centrally located at the heart of Athens. Many restaurants nearby. Different cuisines if you’re a foodie. Check-in process is self service. You need to check your email for the instructions. I didn’t know this beforehand.
Room is alright for a solo traveller like me. It is clean and bed is comfortable. The only issue I had was the noise. Walls are thin and sound proofing is non-existent. They provide earplugs tho and it helped. They also have a swimming pool and a nice gym at the basement. They also have a rooftop with the view of the Acropolis but it’s too far for photo op lol.
Acropolis is also a walking distance maybe about 30min-walk. Close to everything really. Value for money if you are on a budget."

Good Dream Apartment next to Acropolis subway station, two bedrooms with a view of the Acropolis is the perfect place to unwind after a day of travel or work.
For extra convenience free luggage storage are available at the property as well.
"It was our first day in Athens and this place offer all the right accomodation. The location is in walking distance from Acropolis in 10-15mins. We forgot to take a photo of the place but it is very spacious for 3 people and perfect for a group. Having indoor slippers are the best because we are not used to wearing footwears at home. lol also it is really nice and quiet while sleeping because you rarely hear noise from the street. The water heating button is something you need to get used to but we learned that turning on water heater is pretty norm in airbnb/private lodgings. The owner/manager JingJing was extremely helpful and answers back immediately. We were looking for a place to keep our luggage for a couple of days and she kept our luggages with reasonable price. If you have any question around service & local information, she'll be helping you."

"Great location that’s very close to the metro and walkable to lots of nice bars and restaurants plus to the main square. The air conditioning was working perfectly fine for us so we really enjoyed that after a day outside. The only cons are: Amenities are basic. The room was very small, and the bed and pillows were not the most comfortable but I did for our short 2 day stay. We were out till very late one night and never felt not safe around the area. Long story short, for a short day I’ll do just fine. If you’re looking for a place with more relaxing areas and fancier, you better look somewhere else."

"The location is a bit far, about 5 subway stops from Acropolis station, so you'll need to take the subway to reach most tourist attractions. Walking isn't really an option. The subway station is about a 5-minute walk away.
There's a police station nearby, so safety wasn't a concern, but I was initially shocked because Athens, Greece, as a whole felt like a slum. I was disappointed that I booked accommodation in such a place, but apparently, by Korean standards, all of Athens looks like a slum. This place was relatively safe and decent.
When we visited, there were American and Greek high school students on a field trip, which also made it feel safe.
In terms of cleanliness, breakfast, and facilities, it offers excellent value for money.
Especially the 7th-floor rooftop, which is open from 12 PM to 10 PM. You can see the Acropolis Parthenon, and the view of the temple illuminated at night and the sunset from the rooftop is simply amazing."

GGuest UserTraveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Even with a short layover, I could easily fit in a half-day tour of the Acropolis the next morning. The overall check-in process was smooth, and it was a perfect choice for an overnight stopover to explore Athens.

GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.

GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

然後再説不好的：由於15:00手機才能收到開門密碼，在此之前是進不去公寓的，所以想在入住或離店時寄存行李是沒有可能的！一定要注意這個問題。 另外，我們是三個人入住，每天晚上等到第三個人洗澡時已經沒有熱水了，連續三天都是如此，我們一共就住了三晚。
最後我需要糾錯一下，第5張圖片是來自官網的，其實它和這個公寓沒有任何關係！去之前我以為這就是將入住的公寓。

SsamanthalummmmI just spent 4 nights at Bedbox Hostel in Athens, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the beds are comfy and clean, and the common areas have a really friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great local tips. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it for backpackers and budget travelers.

SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.
