"Honestly, this hotel was a bit of a letdown. The first room was incredibly small – so small you couldn't even open a 20-inch suitcase anywhere but by the door. There was no desk, and the bedside table was comically large, also doubling as a clothes hanger. There was a friendly Chinese lady at the front desk, which was a plus. However, in that particular room (I forget the number), there was an inner window that not only wouldn't open but faced directly onto the hallway, so you could hear every little noise. Not ideal if you're sensitive to sound. Also, they provide no toiletries whatsoever; you have to bring everything yourself. On the upside, the location is convenient. Turn left out of the hotel for a supermarket, and turn right for the sea. It's also an easy walk to the Rainbow Street in the city center. Secondly, there's the price. In Iceland, where hotels typically start at 1,000 ISK, finding a place for around 900 ISK with a private bathroom is rare. It's suitable for budget travelers or those on daily tours who don't spend much time in their room. One more thing: luggage storage costs money, around 5 euros, and requires a QR code payment. I tried to pay with cash, and the front desk guy seemed quite flustered, like he wasn't used to it."

"Foss hotel Reykjavik is a great place, conveniently located next to Bus stop 12 where all the tour operators pick up and drop off as well as Fly bus tdrop off and pick up. The hotel is very clean and safe. I have a fantastic experience with the staff in front desk and house keeping. I was a solo traveller and I asked guidance to the front desk on some places that i wanted to go within and near Reykjavik. Tge front desk staff, he gave me suggestions and helped me book the show ticket. He gave me clear instructions and seeing my lost look , even gave me the hootel phone numbers to call him in case I run into trouble. But thanks to his clear guidance I managed to navigate well and had a great day out. This hotel is about 15 to 20mrs from city centre by walk. One day I forgot my gold chain in the room. But the housekeeping folks while cleaning did not even touch any valuable stuff that i left. It is really a very reliable and safe hotel. They have a restaurant that serves delicioys food. I ate their fish and chips and chicken salad. Both were great. The breakfast has a good spread. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The best part is still the excellent service from the staff. My trip got rebooked and i had multiple correspondence with the staff and they were always prompt and reassuring. The only downside of the whole stay was my room. I got a corner room which had a slanted corner shape, meaning a triangle cut off from a rectangle. Though nicely laid out, i felt claustrophobic as the room size was much smaller. That room is not ideal, especially if not solo."

"Maybe it is my fault for expecting hotels in Iceland to have little to no, if not relatively poor service as a whole, but my booking issues with them, the communication leading up to the stay and overall interaction with staff was next to none, Save for the on-site staff that I got to bump into, it's pretty much non-existent. The Booking itself, alongside a mistake with the app, and the hotel refusing to offer direct communication, and lying throughout the whole ordeal when it came to ”calling back” was literal hell. That being said the say was, fine? It's a place to rest, that's all I can say. The breakfast was definitely pathetic, but like the first statement it might've been my fault for expecting something substantial,. Definitely don't get the breakfast, don't use the hot coffee/cocoa machine since it's broken or unfilled half the time. Seek out amenities at the grocery stores nearby instead."

"I can honestly say this was the most serendipitous hotel stay I had in Iceland. It was super convenient, being so close to my tour group's meeting point for the next day – just a short walk away. Plus, the hotel felt very safe, offered great value for money, and was exceptionally clean. The heating worked perfectly, and the hot water was wonderfully comfortable."

"This hotel easily meets a four-star standard. The facilities are great, and the rooms are very new. They offer free parking and the location is convenient. There's complimentary coffee at the front desk. Since it gets dark late, the sunset view from the floor-to-ceiling window was beautiful. I'd definitely book this hotel again next time, it's excellent value for money!"

"It was a good experience in Iceland however there’s very less amenities which is only beds toilet in the room and even there’s no microwave in the hotel."

"CityHub’s location was perfect! Right in the heart of downtown Reykjavík. The hot tub was absolutely fabulous during a cold morning rain. The rooms were futuristic looking with lights and sounds depending on your choice of mood. The beds were super clean and comfortable! Their key card was a wristband that you could place over your wrist so you don’t have to worry about losing your hotel card or trying to figure out the code to your room. The bathrooms were spotless and had continuous music with a good beat playing from the background so you can listen and dance a bit while brushing your teeth. They had a great system used in the dining area when pulling your own draft beer or other drinks and the atmosphere at night was peaceful and relaxing. The morning shift staff member which I believed was the owner was extremely friendly and helpful as well as the night shift staff member. However, there was one day shift staff member that wasn’t so helpful and was quick to negative judgement. There was also an additional fee that wasn’t mentioned when booking the room online. Other guesthouses did not allow it or it was probably already added into the package deal that you bought."

"Excellent location and is a few minutes walk from the rainbow street. Have its own parking area so perfect for those that start/end the trip with rental car. My advice is try to get the upper floor as I was allocated the GF which is the -0.5 floor versus the public road. So you wont able to sleep very late of a day, which can be good or bad. Other facility is all great and better than the hotel I stay earlier in Reykjavik."

"The hotel is located in the city center with convenient transportation. The front desk service is very nice. The room is very large, and the mini bar is free on the first day. There is a hot tub and sauna on the basement floor, which is very refreshing before going to bed every day. The breakfast is 5200 Icelandic kronor per person, which is equivalent to 300 RMB per person. The hotel computer system needs to be updated. When I arrived at 8:30 pm that day, the hotel said that I had not paid the room fee. I contacted Ctrip to let me pay first to check in. Ctrip followed up, but when I wanted to pay, the system could not enter the payment..."

"Superior location in the city center, only a few minutes walk to the nearby shopping street. And within 5 minutes walk with Bonus, very convenient if you have to cook at the hotel. The room is convenient, the facilities are visible a bit old, but the use is not too affected, basic cooking facilities are available, however it is worth noting that even if the hood is turned on to cook, the smoke sensor in the room will ring, the hotel may know that there is such a situation, written instructions to deal with it. Also sound insulation is relatively poor, the hotel is located next to the street, in the room is very clear sound of the street, if sleeping to sound sensitive people is not suitable."
