Hotels With Wifi in Capital Region, Iceland

To my surprise, the time to access the locker is only from 9am onwards!!! (only when the staff is at the reception). My plan was to put my luggage into the locker and I have to catch a morning bus at 7am the next day!! Next time please design the lockers in a way such that it is accessible 24/7 😅😅 Anyways, I still figured out a way - which is to walk to the bus terminal to leave my luggage at the lockers. Stay 4D3N 1. Location: Hotel is located in the main shopping street, almost central in the downtown, 4 mins walk to either Bonus or Kronan supermarket, and about 10mins walk to the big church, the swan lake and harbourfront, also close the bus stop no 6 2. Amenities: Room cozy and spacious enough with pantry and all necessary kitchen wares, so we can do our own cooking here 3. Service: Staff are nice and helpful 4. Breakfast: Inculded, buffet type with many choices, croissant is great, has Skyr yogurt, also have other local specialists such as Icelandic fish, very delicious and we enjoyed very much, highly recommended

Lovely clean and spacious room. Nice little kitchen area with microwave to heat food. Buffet breakfast was OK. Personally not to my taste, but that is only my opinion. The 16 year old with us loved the waffles with the choice of toppings! The porridge which I do enjoy was good day 1 but very watery day 2. Choice of bread that could be toasted, margarine (Sorry I am a butter fan!), preserves, ham, cheese,boiled eggs, tomatoes etc. Free coffee wasn't great - again I'm a coffee snob and like a good cup of filter coffee. I did notice there was coffee to buy. The room was great and the staff very helpful. We were able to park right outside our room. Good location for Reykjavik by car, Thingvellir National Park etc. We travelled from here to both and also to Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which was worth the drive. Also we visited Rekyholt, Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring - try the tomato soup!

Facilities: Accommodation in Iceland is generally expensive, and this hostel is truly value for money. Despite being a hostel, its environment and facilities are on par with a high-end hotel, even providing Rituals toiletries. Environment: The location is excellent. You can park on the roadside, and if you've booked a tour, drivers can pick you up directly from the hotel entrance, which is much more convenient than going to a bus stop. Of course, Bus Stop 6 is also very close, just a 2-3 minute walk away. Service: The hotel lobby offers self-service with complimentary tea bags and coffee. You can store your own groceries in the shared fridge and heat them up, which is very convenient. You can also cook your own meals and even use a hot spring.

The water barrier in the bathroom cannot block water, causing the bathroom to be very wet. In addition, there are no windows or exhaust, which makes the bathroom even more humid. In addition, there is no elevator on the other side, so you need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs, which is not recommended.

Room is a little bit small but comfortable. Staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good.

friendly staff，the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect， but if you are picky with drinking water， bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable， but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。 the breakfast was very good， different coffee， waffles， bread， porridge，fruits，。。。。

This hotel offers decent value for money in Iceland. The elderly gentleman at the reception provided excellent service. Although the bathrooms are shared, they were very clean. They also offer a €5 breakfast. The location is superb, within walking distance to both the bus station and city attractions. The only minor drawback is the soundproofing; you can hear footsteps in the hallway. Everything else was great.

The hotel is right by the old wharf, making it super convenient to get everywhere. Plus, there's a Piggy Mart nearby, which is great for grabbing food. On top of that, it's just a 3-minute walk to the shuttle bus station for all the major tour companies.

The environment is good and the whole is very clean; there is a kitchen to buy food and cook, because Iceland is very expensive, many Europeans cook by themselves; the drawback is that there is no staff, and no one responds to the email; the first floor is a bar restaurant.
