I had an amazing stay at The Knot, Hiroshima! The hotel is stylish and perfectly located, making it so easy to explore the city. The bar was fantastic, and breakfast was absolutely incredible – there were so many options to choose from. I loved the small touches in the room, like the chic dressing gown, which made the stay feel extra special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A standout for me were The Knot Coins – complimentary tokens for snacks and drinks – I used mine for a Basque cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

The location is great, very close to the square and park. Room is a bit compact but has all the things I need. The breakfast is great, with beautiful view. The only thing I can complain is the quilt, which uses a piece of sheet for pretection and it is very easy to move. I think a proper quilt cover is better.

An upscale hotel offering great value for money. From the windows, you're treated to unparalleled views of the Seto Inland Sea, its islands, and Hiroshima's stunning night skyline. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hiroshima. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly. The only minor drawback was that the bathroom walls appeared a bit dated, but this is understandable given the hotel's long operational history.

Just a little far from the train station as you'll need to cross a bridge to get to the riverside. The breakfast has a good spread with international and local food options. Room was fantastic, very clean and new. With premium amenities. A plus point - the hotel reception staff had exceptional service. (Helped to warm-up the food we bought from the supermarket when we came back at 10pm)

A very good small hotel, not far from the station. There's a great BBQ place nearby, making it convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. The free breakfast with bread is a nice touch.

The location is perfect, just 5 min walk from Hiroshima Station and 1 min walk to local train. It is surrounded by the shops and restaurants. One thing I concerned is the air-conditioning system. The air-conditioning in our rooms (3 rooms) was a heater. I try to change it to air-conditioning mode, but the reception said it is controlled by the hotel. If other guests are using heater mode, we cannot change to cool mode at all. Our only solution is opening the window which is much better because the weather outside was so cool, but we have to be disturbed by the traffic and pedestrians noise as the hotel is located alongside the main road. The restaurant downstairs is excellent with tasty food and reasonable price. You can grab a good breakfast and then go explore the city. Family mart is nearby just across the road. This is the convenient one.

Location: The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Hiroshima Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Facilities: There's even a hot spring on the rooftop, which was incredibly relaxing! Service: They offer complimentary dinner and breakfast, truly excellent value for money. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean.

It was one of the best hotels I ever slept in Japan. Usually, we try 3 to 5 star hotels in every local capital city. This one is of course famous Prince hotel but it is quite away from the city center yet situated in the most beautiful area of Hiroshima. From the hotel rooms we could see the skyline of the town and the sea. Breakfast is served on the top floor you can choose traditional Japanese (Nadaman/super famous Japanese restaurant) or western style buffet breakfast. With a little supplemental fee, I could go to Onsen (hotspring) and it was soo relaxing and the view was stunning. You even can sail to Miyajima island from this hotel port.

Let's start with the positives. The hotel's price is very reasonable, especially for families with two children who often struggle to find suitable rooms and prices. Most hotel systems would split you into two rooms (one adult, one child), but here, you get a 30 sqm room with two beds, accommodating two adults and two children at a fair price. If you book early, breakfast for two is even included. Every day from 3 PM to 9 PM, there are free drinks and cookies in the lobby for guests to relax and enjoy. You can even try 'Little Boy,' a lactic acid drink that's a Hiroshima specialty. The hotel is right by Nagarekawa Street, and it's not far to Hon-dori shopping street, making it super convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment. The downside is its distance from public transportation. It's a few hundred meters walk to the tram, and getting to the JR station requires either a taxi or a bus from outside the hotel. A taxi to the JR station is about 1000 JPY, which isn't too bad. For city attractions like the Peace Memorial Park and museums, you can either walk or take a taxi directly. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but everything else is fine. So, even though you have to take a taxi to the JR station every day, the room rate is low enough that it still works out to be a good deal.

OOsama BoussifThe hotel was located next to Hiroshima Station, which was very convenient. On the opposite street, there is a Lawson and a 7-Eleven, which was really nice. About the hotel itself, it was clean, well-maintained, and the rooms were spacious enough for two people with two large suitcases. The room had all the amenities we needed. We absolutely loved two things in this hotel that we didn’t experience in other hotels, or at least not as nicely. First, the pyjamas were amazing! Normally in Japan, you get a bathrobe-style or lab coat-style pyjama, but this hotel provided a really comfortable two-piece set with a long short and T-shirt, which both my partner and I loved. The second thing we really liked was the bench with an integrated table, which was super convenient for having breakfast or meals in the room. There were two things we didn’t like about this hotel. We stayed for three nights and did not request room cleaning, which you would assume would make things easier for the cleaning staff. We made sure to put all our used towels in a plastic bag every day and also our garbage outside the door so we could get fresh towels. On one occasion, we didn’t receive a pyjama, which was fine, so I went downstairs to the reception to get it. On another occasion, a towel we left on the floor was not replaced, and I didn’t bother going to reception for it. The second issue was the laundry machine. While the hotel has an excellent system to check availability and timing for each machine on the 10th floor, the machine itself was not very effective. I had less than 1 kg of clothes and used the <1 kg option, which takes 80 minutes to wash and dry, but after 80 minutes, my clothes were still very wet. I then used the 30-minute drying option, but even after that, they were still damp. These were just underwear, socks, and two very thin sweaters, no jeans or thick items, yet the machine struggled to dry them in 110 minutes. In the end, I gave up and took the laundry with me to my next destination. One small other issue: on the second night, YouTube stopped working, and we were unable to watch TV at all in the room, and this was not fixed, even after turning the TV on and off.

OOsama BoussifI think it is unfair that this hotel has a low score on Trip.com. The reason I say this is because people were either looking for a “cheap hotel” in Hiroshima and were surprised by how far it is from Hiroshima Station and the city center, or they assumed the hotel was located on Miyajima Island. Since there are only five reviews on Trip.com as I am writing this, I want to make clear who this hotel is suitable for and who it is not. This hotel is perfect for people who want to stay as close as possible to the Miyajima ferry and spend just one night before heading to the island the next morning. You can reach the ferry either by walking (around 30 minutes) or by taking the local tram (around a 10–15 minute ride). This hotel is not a good fit if you want to stay in Hiroshima and explore the city. It is not close to Hiroshima Station, the city center, or any sightseeing spots. The area around the hotel also offers nothing, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so take that into account. However, if your plan is to stay one night and go to Miyajima Island as early as possible the next morning, and you are traveling with limited luggage (do not bring large suitcases or any heavy luggage), then this hotel is a good choice. We had our main luggage sent to our hotel next to Hiroshima Station and only carried a small 5 kg carry-on with clothes for the next day. The walk from the nearest metro station to the hotel was about 10–15 minutes, and it was not as difficult as some reviews made it sound. Just use Google Maps and you will be fine. About the hotel itself, because of what we read, we expected nothing, but we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in process, done by machine, was instant and smooth with no issues at all. Sometimes I really wonder what people are doing when I read their experiences. The room itself was more than fine. You have all the amenities you need, the room was spacious enough for two people with luggage, the bed was big enough for us, the hotel was clean, and overall it felt like a good hotel. I was even surprised that the hotel had a laundry room.

GGuest UserThis hotel serves the best breakfast with a variety of sumptuous and healthy options. All ingredients are of high quality and taste fresh and delicious. The breakfast is value for money at ¥1,600 per guest. Free flow of hot beverages like brewed coffee & tea plus soft drinks are available from 2-11pm for guests. There are also self service laundry area available at nominal cost. Overall, i highly recommend this hotel for families

KKhabibov IlnurGreat room. It was clean and cozy. The staff were polite and friendly. Free coffee from a machine is available at the front desk. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right next door. The room doesn't have wardrobes or much space for large suitcases, but it's perfectly fine for travelers with smaller luggage. The hotel offers two washing machines and two dryers; however, expect queues in the evenings, so doing laundry in the morning or afternoon is recommended. Overall, I have wonderful memories of my stay.

GGuest UserIt was a first time for me and it went very well infeed. The location is on a main street within walking distance of the station. On a tram and bus stop too. The young staff spoke English and were very helpful. All amenities are provided. Excellent facilities too. Once you got the hang of the place, it was easy to get used to the wsy of life. I stayed 2 nights. Somewhat pricier than other capsules, but I couldn't fault anything. Would consider staying there again.

OOlegIt's my first time staying in ryokan with onsen and it was amazing since check in procedure full of warm relation and complete introduction to local habits till my first onsen visit. Something special is dinner in traditional Japanese way and sleeping on futons. Onsen with different baths and types of water is perfect after hard travel day and went us into the sleep in a seconds Very small and remarkable city around the hotel easy to walk around and keep a lot of nice photos to remember Super convinient location in 5 min to railroad station to Kobe and 30 min total to Shin-Kobe station. Staff support us even when we need to send luggage to the next hotel in Kyoto. Wish to visit it again

GGuest UserOk, this one is difficult to rate. The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place. But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road. There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat. You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that. Toilets, bath, all is shared. Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while. The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did. I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least. The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling. Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.
