"This Hotel Vischio Osaka by JR West is in an absolutely fantastic location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Higobashi subway station, making it super convenient to get to Nakanoshima and the Science Museum. There are tons of restaurants nearby too, so finding a place to eat is a breeze. The hotel itself has a charming retro-luxury vibe, and the rooms are spotless. The in-room dryer is a lifesaver for travelers, and the large windows offer great views and plenty of natural light. Since it opened in 2020, all the facilities are modern and new. It's generally quiet and peaceful. I stayed in a twin room by myself, and there was plenty of space, and the bedding was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were kind and attentive. It offers great value for money, and the flexible free cancellation policy is a bonus. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Osaka's Nishi district. I'll be staying here again!"

It was clean and tidy, no complaints there. My only issue was the check-in time, which is super late at 5:00 PM – probably the latest in all of Japan. I had an overnight flight, landed at 8:00 AM, and had to tough it out until 5:00 PM to check in. My eyes were bloodshot while I was out exploring, and I even dozed off for 20 minutes at an attraction. They wouldn't let me check in early either. I really hope they can optimize the check-in time to be a bit more reasonable and guest-friendly!"

It's about a 15-minute walk (1km) from Namba Station, which is manageable when coming from the airport. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast includes bread, drinks, and coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious! Amenities are self-service on the first floor. You need to request new towels daily. Room cleaning is done once every three nights. The room itself is small, but having experienced even smaller rooms before, this size was acceptable."

"This was my second stay here. The first time, I had a room for two people and it was tiny. This time, I booked a triple room and they upgraded us, which made it much more spacious. The location is super convenient; it's about a 5-6 minute walk from Nihonbashi subway station. Getting to the airport is easy too, as the airport shuttle stop is just a five-minute walk away. Dotonbori is right across the street, and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. There are also plenty of drugstores nearby for shopping, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk down the street, which is always packed and bustling. The only downside is that the hotel's washing machines are always in use. I tried to use one countless times on my first day, carrying my dirty laundry back and forth, but it was still busy even past 1 AM. I finally managed to use one at 3:30 PM the next day."

"Dear Hotel Management, I recently stayed at your hotel for two days and overall had a comfortable experience. However, I unfortunately lost a valuable item (a necklace) during my stay. I am writing this because I had some difficulty communicating smoothly with the hotel staff regarding this matter. "🚎 Commute: Just a 1-minute walk from Ebisucho Station Exit 3 to the hotel! Super convenient! Dotonbori is only two subway stops away, or about a 25-minute walk. Hygiene: I was personally very satisfied, although the air conditioning had a strange smell for the last two days, not sure why. Housekeeping: They bring fresh towels and bottled water every day! Thumbs up! Honestly, I don't use that many towels, haha. They also clean the room and make the bed on the second day of your stay. Bathroom: It's quite compact, but the shower pressure is excellent, making for a refreshing wash. Taller or larger guests might find it a bit inconvenient. 🤓 In summary: The best choice for solo travelers! If I come to Osaka again, I'd recommend staying at this hotel. It's also very quiet at night; I was worried it might be noisy, but it wasn't at all. The guests in the neighboring rooms were all very considerate. 😇 🥹🥹 A wonderful trip to Osaka!"

"The soundproofing is really bad! For three consecutive nights, from early mornings to late nights, I was constantly disturbed by the sound of people running and jumping from the upstairs or adjacent rooms – a constant thumping that severely impacted my sleep quality. I reported it to the hotel on the second morning, and they said they would increase patrols (which didn't actually happen). On the third night, the thumping footsteps were just as loud. Additionally, the hotel has a main door password, but it's not controlled all day. It's only restricted during a specific period; otherwise, anyone can enter and exit the hotel, which makes me worry about security during my stay. On the positive side, the room space is quite large and suitable for families."

Room condition is good, toilets and towels very clean. One minus of our room was that it was noisy because of highway. Overall perfect for price. Zoo is located right backside of the hotel. The zoo is definitely must visit place in Osaka!"

"This is my 2nd stay here. Love the cleanliness, the osen which offers multiple pools, the systematic luggage storage/collection process. The best part is the airport limo bus stops right behind the hotel on 2nd floor of the OCAT Building. You don't even need to cross any roads or take any stairs since escalator is available. Simple use the massive underpass walkway to connect to Namba shopping malls like Takashimaya and the famous Shinsaibashi shopping street at exit 10/12. Pls bring luggage w top/front opening as there is limited space. Do not bring 50/50 split luggage. Apart of this, everything else is super great! Oh yah, there are multiple charging sockets from 3-pin, japanese 2 pin, USB. More than enough for usage."

The room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right by the exit of Universal Studios. Downstairs, there are plenty of shops along Universal Studios Street, making shopping and dining super easy. There's even a Sushiro and a Lawson convenience store right on the ground floor. I only found out after checking in that the hotel offers luggage storage, so the information online saying they don't is incorrect. If you have luggage, you can drop it off at the hotel first and then head to Universal Studios. The hotel also has a gym. Oh, and the breakfast spread is fantastic! We woke up a bit late, and breakfast only runs until 10 AM, so by the time we got to the restaurant, we only had about half an hour to eat, which wasn't quite enough time 🤦♂️

The front desk had a staff member who spoke Chinese, which made check-in super easy. The room was spacious and well-laid out, and it's really close to the subway station! Plus, it's right next to some very upscale residential buildings in Osaka.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, with the shuttle bus taking about 15 minutes to get there. The front desk staff spoke the best English I've encountered at any hotel, and there were even staff members who spoke Chinese, all very professional. The room was incredibly spacious and grand, just like what you'd find in a hotel in China. From the hotel, you can see the sea right next to the airport. You can walk to the outlet mall, it's not far, and there's a lovely seaside promenade next to the outlets. I'd highly recommend it for those catching an early flight or who have just arrived at Osaka Airport and need to refresh. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is very handy.

I really liked the ventilation in the capsule. It was cold in the hallway where the capsules are at night because the air conditioning was on. There were no odors, so the capsule itself felt fresh too. I'm not sure how the ventilation is set up, but I was pleased with it. The common area on, I think, the 10th floor was usually empty, so I could sit and eat alone, which I also liked. After this, I stayed at a couple more capsule hostels in Japan, and this one was the best in terms of the capsule design and living area. My only complaints were with the kitchen and cooking facilities. But for sleeping, it's an excellent option. The showers and toilets were great too.

The room was very quiet, and housekeeping cleaned it daily. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Shinsaibashi, and the subway station is right outside the door. Although breakfast was Japanese style, there were many options, and I thought it was even better than the breakfast at the hotel in Kyobashi.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of the bustling Namba area, and close to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. The front desk features a comfortable lounge area and a water dispenser. What's more, on my floor, there was a large beverage machine offering a variety of drinks, both hot and cold. The bed was cozy and came with a TV that had decent reception. The bathroom, washbasin, and toilet were all quite spacious, and importantly, all these facilities were separated for men and women. I also discovered a prayer room available for Muslim guests, which is a very thoughtful touch. Of course, the front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive as well.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel's location is super convenient, and the room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby all night. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The facilities are excellent, offering great value for money, and I truly felt at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it!
