My recent stay with you from September 7 - 11 was nothing short of extraordinary. While the five-star rating is a given, I wanted to write a more personal review to highlight exactly what made our time so memorable. Lily at the Front Desk: Her warm welcome set the tone for our entire vacation. The Housekeeping Team: They are absolute artists of their craft. Our room was not just cleaned, but thoughtfully tidied and restocked twice daily. You have created something truly special. The resort provides the perfect stage, but your staff are the stars of the show. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. We left not just relaxed and rejuvenated, but genuinely happy.

We spent almost a week in the hotel and the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff was great. Unfortunately, we did not have a good start due to a flu of my husband, but they did not hesitate and we were immediately helped and we were driven to the doctor and supported and lovingly cared for. We can recommend the hotel to everyone and thank all employees for this excellent service!!!

This was amazing place, even despite coming in October during rainy season. Service was exceptional from the begging- person awaiting us on the airport, speed boat transfer late evening, with nice welcome and service (water/towels/wifi) We arrived late evening, so dinner packages were ready in the room. All Incl package was nice however we missed some food in between breakf-lunch and dinner. Issue is wifi which was not working properly/everywhere. Normally i think its ok as we do not need internet on such vacations, but as we needed to work one day it was hard. Again anyways. Great service. Hospitality of staff in restaurant and bar too. Also reception who gave us a chance of later checkout. It was very convenient as we travelled with 2yrs old toddler. Room was spacious, kept clean every day properly + water bottles delivered daily. Good snorkling trips for free provided daily.

This oceanfront hotel was a fantastic experience. The rooms offered expansive views, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the sea – absolutely stunning for watching the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The hotel was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The service was warm and attentive, check-in was quick, and the beach was right downstairs. It was very convenient for getting around. The gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves created a truly relaxing vacation atmosphere. Свежий отель. Номера простые, но ухоженные. Уборка каждый день. Лифта нет, готовьтесь ходить по лестнице. Завтраки очень простые, если шведский стол, то без особого выбора, но я так понял на Диффуши это нормально ещё. Своего пляжа нет, но очень близко до лучшего пляжа на острове у отеля Биби. Зонт платный, мы прятались под деревьями. Остальные пляжи либо не убирают, либо там невозможно нормально плавать. Ресторан отеля дорогой, но красивый, на крыше, отличный вид. Нам понравился китайский рестик у причала, большие порции, хорошие цены. Рядом стройка с обеих сторон, но в номере слышно не было. С персоналом проблем не было, в целом отель можем рекомендовать

I was lucky enough to be assigned to Arena Veli in Building 4 of the Arena complex, which is the fourth building from the sunset direction, and it was even a corner balcony unit with a 90-degree view – absolutely stunning! The welcome drink was a delicious mixed berry juice. Breakfast was also tasty with a good variety of options. The service experience during my stay was very good. The $6 environmental tax per person per night is mandatory, and there's also a $25 per person per trip speedboat transfer fee. However, the in-room facilities and cleanliness were really concerning, not even up to the standard of a 3-star hotel back home.

The room was absolutely satisfying – quite spacious with a large and comfortable double bed. The sea view from the balcony was excellent. The ground floor (G level) houses the restaurant, while what Trip.com calls the 'first floor' rooms (standard sea view rooms) are actually on the second floor. Deluxe sea view rooms, which are slightly more expensive, are on the third floor and above. The hotel guests are a mix of Europeans/Americans and Chinese. The front desk staff spoke English and I experienced no discrimination whatsoever. Some reviews mentioned that higher floors were given to Westerners, but perhaps they just booked a second-floor room to begin with. Actually, the second-floor rooms are also beautiful, perfectly level with the palm trees. Because Trip.com noted my booking as a 'first floor' room (which is actually the second floor, as the actual first floor is the 'G' level with only the restaurant and front desk, no rooms), I specifically requested a deluxe sea view room on a higher floor than the first, and I was given a room on the fifth floor with an amazing view. When arriving by speedboat, a dedicated staff member was there to pick us up. Although it was only about 200 meters, the hotel still used a golf cart for us and a three-wheeled vehicle for our luggage, delivering everything directly to our room after check-in. When departing, the front desk booked our speedboat tickets for us. The front desk manager personally saw us off to the golf cart and politely asked about our stay experience. The staff carried our luggage all the way to the boat. The service was truly superb. On our first day, we went out to sea, and I left my underwear on the bed since I was wearing my swimsuit. When we returned, the room had been cleaned, and my pajamas and underwear were neatly folded and arranged on the bed. Because the room attendant was male, my daughter and I felt a bit embarrassed. For the following days, we put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and after returning in the afternoon, we only requested fresh towels and water refills. The staff would still often ask if we needed our room cleaned – the service was truly outstanding. The ground floor breakfast area has plenty of seating, and breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is perfect for not delaying our excursions. There's a wide variety of food, including egg pancakes and corn pancakes that cater to Chinese tastes. I didn't pre-book dinner, but there was a good selection, costing $20 per person, and cash payment was accepted. There are many island excursions available, offering plenty of deep-sea experiences and photo opportunities. All in all, my experience at Kaani Hotel on Maafushi Island was fantastic, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel service is really good, and the staff are very nice. Communication was excellent, and I was very happy with the room. The hot water supply was plentiful, and for this price, the room was really great. It's also very close to the sea. Everyone can confidently give this place a try!
