"The hotel location is very good , very close to the main places in the city , so is easy to move around . The hotel room is ok , is big and spacious and the furniture is new . The hotel decoration is alright just like a normal holiday inn hotel , looks more for a business trip . It has a nice swimming pool on the top of the building too . The only problem I saw is that because of eco friendly tiles there are no water bottles at the room , there is free water tanks and the lobby so to drink you need to drink at the lobby , or take water from outside the hotel , but there are no shops close to the hotel , so you need to pay a higher price for the hotel vending machine or just drink water at lobby , I was thirsty the whole stay haha . But I recommend it for business people"

"The attention was really good. Everything is still brand new, that makes the place look better. Just a little suggestion: You really need to control the “monopoly” of the towels reservation on the pool and beach side. "I checked out early after 4 rooms in 4 days! Staff I dealt with at front desk were helpful especially 1 in particular when he saw what the 1st room issues were & looked like that I was given. Out of the 4 rooms I was shown & moved to, i slept in 2 rooms but decided I needed to checkout early after 3 nights. The 2 rooms I slept in & 3rd room I was shown (all after the horrible original 1st room I was given) were much better than the 1st room but also had some issues. Cleanliness rated poor is regarding the 1st room as it should've NEVER been flagged ok for checkin by housekeeping. First impressions are lasting impressions!!"

"Service is fantastic, very nice staff always willing to help / ask if you need anything. Prime location for subway/ metro station & plenty of restaurants. Buffet breakfast is really good for the price you pay. Fresh papayas & pineapples, scrambled eggs & omelettes, fresh papaya juice & regular orange juice. Lots of bread options, hot corn soup or oatmeal, salads & vegetables with plenty of cheese, sausage options. No pools but there’s a hot jacuzzi. Gym is well equipped. This hotel is the one we come back to when we are looking for a great value."

"This is a very overvalued hotel, in reality the amenities are quite a low standard, rooms need minor renovations, and the housekeeping and maintenance services need proper improvement! Maintenance issues: the sink had overspread issue, drainage issue, toilet had overfilling issue with a noise, shower vents didn’t close fully, unless you master the “secret”; floor in the bathroom was steep towards the bedroom area, instead of being steep towards the drainage hole, the entrance door wouldn’t close without noise because of touching the floor.. Housekeeping: they attended the room only after i asked and reminded. Even then they once didn’t clean the floor, twice didn’t provide refills of the amenities (water, tissues, etc.). Only after my kind complaint to the reception, they finally fixed the issues. The reception and restaurant staff are very nice, kind, and attentive! Thanks and well done!"

"Location of the hotel is excellent as it is near the waterfront and you can walk to nearby malls. The only con with the hotel is the breakfast staff. They were not up to the standards of the hotel and had to be asked to refill water and milk in the communal jugs. They seemed very overwhelmed by their tasks and were not proactive enough. Aside from that, the hotel was very good."

"Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in at this price range, it was the best. They even let me check in early for a small fee. Unusually, the hotel had face towels. The pool was great and very clean without too much chlorine. Nice view. The food offered at the restaurant was pretty good for hotel food. The room was very clean. Easy walk to the pier area."

I didn't like this room. I preferred the room I had in a previous trip. The buffet was ok, but we had a problem with one payment by credit card. The buffet and drink showed as paid on my friend's application, but the hotel said the payment was declined. They will get in touch with my friend since the issue is not closed.

It seems the facilities, cleanliness, and location are a hit, but I think the service needs a bit more improvement, especially the front desk staff. I can't say it's everyone, as there are different shifts, but I felt a bit put off by one of the guys. I think it's because I'm Panamanian and not a foreigner; he treated me differently. I asked him a question because I didn't quite understand the room number and asked if it was by the pool. He curtly replied, 'No, your room is standard, not by the left,' and then told me to use the card to open the door. That didn't seem like an appropriate answer for a confused guest. It's obvious the card is for opening the door. I've stayed here twice, and it's the same person who gives off a rather unpleasant vibe.

This hotel is an oasis in the heart of downtown! Clean and spacious public areas! It has an inside bar with a pool table, restaurant, beer pub and outdoor beer garden. The outside areas were filled with beautiful green tropical plants and flowers and the pool was clean. Love the decor all over and even in the elevator!! Our king size bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and the bathroom was clean, stocked well and had plenty of hot water. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the carpet could be replaced but it was clean. The service was very good from the front desk to the beer garden to the restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to couples and large groups! Oh, they have a workout room also!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful experience in the Heart of Casco Viejo! Art Casco is hands-down one of the most stylish and comfortable boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Casco Viejo, with historic charm all around and just steps from the waterfront, restaurants, and beautiful architecture. From the moment I arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing—so warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. There was a bit of confusion about my second day of booking, even though I had paid online. But they handled it with patience and professionalism. Please make sure this hotel gets their money—they truly deserve it. The rooms are artistically designed, clean, and full of character. Every detail—from the artwork to the furniture—felt curated with care. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had great water pressure (a big deal in Panama!). The entire property felt like a peaceful, artistic escape from the buzz of the city. If you’re looking for a boutique stay that blends art, comfort, and outstanding service, Art Casco is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning!

Room was nice and comfortable though carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time. Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.   Other than that the facility was nice I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person.  I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar. I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket

Good location, the hotel is not big, but the management is a bit chaotic, and I couldn't check in at 3 pm. The breakfast is very rich, and the breakfast of Panama five-star hotel is good. The room is spacious, facing the sea, and the view is good. The price is reasonable, and there are many big hotels and restaurants around.
