Nepal | The ancient Buddhist shrine—Swayambhunath Temple

Built over two thousand years ago, the "Swayambhunath Temple", also known as the "Temple of the Four-Eyed God", is a Buddhist temple in Nepal and one of the oldest Buddhist shrines in Asia; it has been affectionately nicknamed the "Monkey Temple" by Chinese tourists due to the many monkeys that roam freely there. Swayambhunath Temple is located in Kathmandu, Nepal, where, apart from humans, everything else is considered divine; 60% of the population adheres to Hinduism, 25% to Buddhism, and the remaining people follow Christianity, Catholicism, and Islam.
