Zhaoxing Dong Village now offers free admission! Here's a travel guide for a three-day, two-night trip for two people departing from Guangzhou

🚌Transport: Take the train from Guangzhou South Station to Congjiang Station, and then you can take a bus to the village. However, due to the long queue when I was there, I ended up taking a taxi. 🏠Accommodation: We didn't have many choices when booking, so I won't make any recommendations. If you're staying in a homestay in the village, you'll need to walk a bit. If you don't want to walk, I recommend staying on the main street. 🍲Food: 👉Dongpinfang's sour soup beef hotpot, highly recommended!! Also, the crispy skin pork is crunchy, but it can be greasy if you eat too much. 👉Special beef and mutton rice noodles, delicious, the noodles are very springy, and if you like spicy food, you must add their chili. 👉Hua Jie Breakfast Shop, I think it's average, but I recommend the special beef and mutton rice noodles more. 👉Handmade glutinous rice cakes, sticky and wrapped with fragrant soybean flour, don't miss out on the sticky treats, available near the Dongjia Xiaoguan from the auntie. 👉Chen Beibei's yogurt, average, but if you like yogurt, give it a try. 👉Grilled pork skewers, available everywhere, spicy is better than the original flavor. 🎯Itinerary: 🌟Day 1: Take the bus - Check in - Have lunch - Visit Tang'an Rice Terraces - Walk around the village, eat, and take photos - Watch the bonfire singing performance in the village. 🌟Day 2: Wake up, have lunch - Jiajie Batik Experience Hall, where you can take photos and shop (you can also try tie-dyeing or buy clothes) - 'To the Place with Wind' Batik Workshop, the windowsill is very photogenic - Wander and take photos around the village - Light and Shadow Story Coffee Shop, lots of cats, but don't disturb them, they might randomly jump on your table or sleep in the cat bed when they're in a good mood, super cute - Tang'an Rice Terraces (went again because the weather was bad and foggy the previous day, it's really beautiful when the weather is good, worth the visit). 🌟Day 3: The rain gives the Dong Village a unique charm, have rice noodles in the morning - Dongpin Yuan Weaving, Dyeing, and Embroidery Experience Hall & Museum (there's tie-dye cloth for photos, but don't get too close, some are still wet!) - Continue to wander, take photos, and eat - Return trip. 📸Photo spots: See the pictures~ High success rate for good photos, the drum tower is great to shoot both during the day and at night. The Dong Village is quite small, three days and two nights are enough to enjoy it, and we even visited the rice terraces twice. It's a place to enjoy a leisurely life, listening to the sound of water at night, feeling the comfort of being close to nature. There are many places in the village to take portrait photos, so ladies who want to try can plan for it. The atmosphere in the small bars at night is great! I personally have a very good impression of the Dong Village, it's a relaxing travel destination!
