Good location: 2 tram stops from the city centre, walking distance to restaurants Room size and cleanliness quite good Laundry facility is super (wash machine and dryer free, only have to buy washing powder) Breakfast not worth it - no cheese, no hot chocolate/cocao for kids, no freshly brewed coffee (costs extra)

The hotel was fancier than I expected it to be! I loved the design -- it reminded me of the Guggenheim in NYC. The room was also nice. I got the most basic room, and it was honestly more luxurious than I'm used to. This is a definite must stay if you're coming through Canberra.

For what we paid for a night it was worth it. Reception was friendly upon arrival There was no problem at all checking in It was short and quick at reception and key was handed to us. For short stay I will recommend this Ibis Budget at Canberra. Cheers

Excellent value for money! This serviced apartment is incredibly convenient, offering laundry and cooking facilities. It's clean, tidy, and centrally located, making it easy to get around. You can even walk to nearby malls.

Stayed here for night woth a friend. They had breakfast included with our stay, which was nice. The staff are all really friendly and accommodating. This place is also a short walk to the light rail and other restaurants/cafes around the CBD which was great.

The hotel was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchen and a cozy living area. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The location is right in the city center, close to restaurants, cafes, and public transport, which made getting around very easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing quick responses to any questions I had. The only minor downside was that the noise from nearby streets could be a bit noticeable in the evenings, but it didn’t significantly affect my stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Canberra, whether for business or leisure. I would definitely stay here again!

While the facilities aren't brand new, they are very well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay overall. I was particularly pleased with how spotless the room was and how fresh and clean the bedding felt. The service was warm and attentive, and the front desk was very responsive. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. If some of the older equipment were updated, the experience would be even more perfect. All in all, it offers great value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Canberra is a beautiful city with virtually brand new streets and buildings. The bus station from Sydney to Canberra is right next to the Novotel, and it's just a few hundred meters walk to the Crowne Plaza. The hotel facilities are good, with a pool and gym. The room size is smaller than in China but larger than in Japan. The casino is right next to the hotel. I want to specifically talk about the service. When I arrived, they initially gave me a connecting room. Later, they switched me to a twin room. It made me feel like the front desk staff was a tour guide handling a** (rubbish/bad) tour group.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room, comfortable bed, wifi, aircon and as a bonus they have a buffet breakfast. Great location with on-site parking included and the German pub right next door for dinner within walking distance

clean room and comfy bed. there are only 2 floors and our room is next to a round about and noise during the day could be quite loud. the hotel decor is not so modern with a bath tub and only a shower screen covering half of it so after showers the bathroom floor is completely wet. breakfast was great and staff at the restaurant were patient and attentive to the needs of customers. hotel staff were helpful and service was good overall except that when we checked out the front desk lady was first reluctant to get staff to check my room but told me if anything is missing from the minibar it will be charged to our card and that we have signed an agreement. of course if we have consumed anything we are happy to pay but we would like the room checked when we are still in the hotel premises rather than being told a day later a dozen drinks have gone missing. I wonder why she did not understand my request. she wasn't rude but what she said could be offensive to some people.
