I stayed at the GO2 hotel last night and overall had a pleasant experience. The tariff was really reasonable; the service was good, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Since it’s a two‑star hotel, I didn’t expect many amenities, but refreshments were provided, which was a nice touch. The heating was comfortable—something I really appreciated after a bitter experience at a Holiday Inn in Bristol. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and tidy. The location is ideal for business trips, with easy access to nearby areas. There is on‑site parking available for £4.

Stayed here for a weekend at the Cotswolds. Great location as base for visiting surrounding villages. Nice short drive into Cheltenham city. Clean rooms, great reception and restaurant service. The same breakfast selection every day but it was good and covered the basics of an English breakfast. They were also very on it when refilling stations. Didn’t get to try any amenities this time though.

Great location. A very nice spa. The hotel room is unfortunately quite old, the shower was cold, the bed was uncomfortable and the walls are very thin making it hard to sleep.

Disappointed at first off when I found out I had to pay a further £5 for parking my car. First appearance was it seemed very dated. The room was ok, bed clean and comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities. TV was a limited on stations, but absolutely no WiFi or if there was it wasn’t available in my room. Noise from the next door room, and from upstairs in particular was unbearable, I think they must have been real heavyweights as every step across their room was vibrating down through my ceiling, and at one point sounded like they were jumping off the bed it was so loud, I actually thought they would be coming through. The bathroom had really seen better days, felt grubby, mould on the ceiling, plugs in both the bath and the sink were old and broken, and the bath itself had seen better days, but on a positive note the towels were clean. All in all I didn’t feel it was worth the £72 plus parking fees and wouldn’t recommend, unless you could get it for less than £40 Max.

The location was excellent & has parking at the facility which I'm pleased about. It is a self check-in so some guidance in terms of do's & dont's, along with what amenities/facilities are available or something to explain the check-out times & some sort of contact in terms of queries could help. My room was in basement (was not given any option nor knew it before I turned up at the hotel) & it was a bit smelly despite a good clean. Again, since I didn't know who/how I could reach out to about it, wouldn't say that was the best of the experiences.

Roughly located near the city center, it's perfect for a one-night stay. The facilities are a bit dated, but clean. The rooms are equipped with microwaves and kitchenware, which is convenient. The city center is within walking distance, and the Cotswolds are easily accessible.

Stayed for 1 night with breakfast with my son and husband . Had a multiple room ( double and single bed ) .  Room was very clean , good size with a desk and chair . Wardrobe , hairdryer and iron facility. Also good sized Tv . Bathroom again clean and supplied with towels , hair and shower gel .  The added bonus was access to the fitness suite ( pool and gym ) .  Hotel contained a bar and separate restaurant area . We didn’t have to book a table , we were seated straight away . Food was slightly expensive in price , but adequate.  Breakfast was a buffet , well presented, a variety of choice of cooked and cold choices .  The only thing I would say was a bit of a “ let down” , was paying £7 to park our car in their private car park .  Overall a lovely hotel , to which I would definitely return to !  The Reception lady was also very happy , friendly and chatty 😁

GGuest UserHave stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door. On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again. Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

Amazing
CChristopherI actually live in the neighborhood around this hotel, but I booked it to host a friend for the weekend. It's not the easiest option in the vicinity to walk to from the train station, though the walk which goes along the canal for most of the way is super scenic if you have time to spare on arrival. The cab to the hotel was also fairly quick and cost us about fifteen quid. Check-in was super convenient and casual, and the girl working walked us up to the room to introduce all the amenities and features of our room. The room was well equipped but it was a little bit of a disappointment that it didn't have a mini fridge - there aren't a lot of food options or supermarkets in easy walking distance from the hotel, so we had brought some items with us that we had to leave on the windowsill to keep chilled. Overall though the room was great. The lower level living room was a super comfy spot to chill and eat, and then the raised bedroom was incredibly cosy. I'm 5'11” and I will say I almost took myself out on the sloped walls a few times - I imagine anyone taller would have to be very careful. I've noticed that showers in this area generally aren't super hot or pressurised, but the setup here wasn't too bad. The pub below is of course super charming, a great place to sit with a pint and watch the sunset, though we didn't try the food. I will probably come back to this pub, and would stay in the inn again if I ever have any reason to.

DDavid WachendorferMansley refers to their properties as ”managed apartments”. There is no on site staff, you check in online and get a single code that gets you into the building, your room, and the parking. They are very attentive during the stay to make sure you know that if you need anything they are a phone call away. I absolutely love this concept! The property itself appears to have been recently renovated and in immaculate condition. The room was stunning. You walk into a living room area with kitchen with soaring 2 story ceilings. The bedroom is an upstairs loft with king size bed. Towels, linens, mattress, coffee service, etc. are all top of the line. The location can't be beat. Right in the heart of town center with everything you could possible need a short walk away. They have a secure parking lot right next to the property as well. I have stayed at all of the trendy hotels in Cheltenham. This is by far my favorite. Won't stay anywhere else when in Cheltenham. Can't wait to try another Mansley property.

We were not expecting what we found. I expected a Travelodge kind of place , how wrong was I. On arrival at this amazing building we had a warm welcome from the young lady on reception. Who went out of her way to make sure we had the accommodation to include out three dogs, at £15 per dog we thought very reasonable compared to other chains. Also the whole hotel was dog friendly so you can keep your besty with you at dinner. No need to leave them to stress in the room. The ground floor room we requested was large with plenty of room for show trolleys, the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate. My only flaw in the room was there were no power points near the beds but there were plenty on the wall opposite so I would recommend just taking an extension lead. The dining room was open till 9pm , the food we had was lovely and reasonably priced. Servers were very Pleasant and looked after us well. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely stay again. Thank you .
