The hotel itself was nice and clean. The rooms are spacious. There's a heater and dehumidifier in the room. Food is buffet breakfast and dinner. We were in the west wing which requires a bit of a walk to get to the room. And the main inconvenience is there is a flight of stairs to get up before having an elevator to the room floor. The outdoor onsen is in a different section to the indoor onsen. The hotel is certainly geared for skiers as everything closes during the middle of the day (souvenir shop, onsen). So make sure you have activities booked in advance. The website of the hotel is also a bit confusing with the number in-house activities available - be sure to check with the front counter first. Peak hour staff has good command in English but need translation for night staff. A few things of note: - the shuttle is very busy at the 3pm and 10am run - make sure you pre-book - there is a shuttle to tsurunoyu iriguchi onsen 鶴の湯温泉 from a bus stop near the hotel, no need to take the public bus

First of all, I booked this hot spring hotel on Saturday and it cost me 33,600 yuan. I thought I could live in a big room, but everything became a mess after two sleeping mats were laid out at dinner time. We couldn't open our luggage because there was no place, and we had to jump to go to the bathroom because there was no way to go. I was really angry. I booked this hotel because it is a LA VISTA group, but the food, both the ingredients and the taste are worth the price. There are also many snacks, water, Yakult, and fresh milk in the lounge after the hot spring, but there is no juice. This is what I find strange. In addition, we often pass by the counter, and the waiters treat you as air. Anyway, the way of this hotel is to come and go. Just now we checked out and put on our shoes, and they turned around when we said byebye, and didn't even come to the door. Am I really expecting too much?

The location was fantastic, connected directly to the station, bus interchange and shopping malls. The room was probably the biggest I have stayed at in Japan, which was great when sharing with a friend. The tatami sitting area was great to sit in and enjoy the station view, with the trains coming and going. Was not disturbed by any train noise however. They also gave a sheet noting the times you can view specific train models from your room window. Staff were friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier. Would stay here again next time I'm in Akita.

Hotel very near the station, not more than 1 minute walking. Very friendly welcome. Room was spacious and clean. Window could open and let in fresh air. In the hotel there was a small restaurant for guests with a nice local food menu. Breakfast was simple, but good. Restaurant ladies were very friendly and helpfull. They keep your luggage if you arrive early. In kakunodate things close early (in november?) So take care that you arrange your dinner plans in time.

The hotel is brand new, featuring a spacious and bright lobby. The rooms are immaculate, bright, and beautifully appointed. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout, and the bathrooms are well-designed with a convenient wet/dry separation. The rooms themselves are spotlessly clean, characteristic of a standard business hotel. Its location is superb: the Akita Museum of Art is just a short stroll away, there are abundant dining options nearby, and it's conveniently close to the train station. The staff provided very patient and attentive service.

The hotel environment is quiet, there are not many rooms, and there are fewer people than ordinary brand hotels. The place is clean and the waiters are friendly. The Japanese-style 4-person room has enough space to put four luggage boxes. The outdoor hot spring scenery is beautiful, the washing room is complete with supplies, and the breakfast is The food for dinner is rich and delicious. After eating the Japanese breakfast, you can drink free coffee in the lobby cafe. The accommodation fee is reasonable and we will introduce other friends to stay.

About a 7-minute walk from Akita Station, directly opposite Seibu Department Store. It's not far from various city attractions, making dining and transportation convenient. It rained heavily on the day we stayed, and the hotel even provided free umbrellas, which was really great. Breakfast was okay.

I made a reservation because I wanted to see the cherry blossoms in Kakunodate. Unfortunately, I was too early and it was farther than I thought! The bus driver and staff were all very kind and friendly. I was touched when they waved goodbye to me on a rainy morning. The food looked beautiful and had a seasonal feel, and the A5 rank beef teppanyaki was meltingly soft and delicious. I was also glad to have the Akita specialty kiritanpo hotpot. However, it was quite flavorful, so I thought it would have been better if they had some white rice. You need a small towel every time you take a bath, so it's better to have two of each. Thank you so much.

The hotel is close to the main road, which is very convenient for people who drive. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast and dinner are delicious, and travelers who like hot springs should not miss it. It is very cost-effective and highly recommended!

This hotel is right next to a underground rock concert shop. It has frequent tenants who played there or attend the concerts there. If you are driving , you won’t be able to get their parking slots as it mostly reserved for the regulars. The nearby parking lots charges 400 Y from 4pm-8am so if you arrive shortly after check in time and decide to head out early the next day, you may use the 2 carparks that is right beside the hotel. If you can’t make it in time, the hotel cheapest parking option is behind Lawson where they have monthly season parking lots. It’s 600 yen per night from 3pm to 10am. room wise, price to value is below average probably becos of high demand in the vicinity. As for cleanliness, can be better improve. My aircon filter and air filter machine was producing really moldy and smell air , probably from previous guests who sweated in the room. Was a big turn off lucky I came during autumn, can just open the window to get cold air in.

PPockyBackpackDuring winter, the road for the last 800 meters before reaching the hotel is closed, and you must walk in. Guests need to park at Okama Onsen first. Before arrival, you are required to inform the hotel of your check-in time so that a staff member can guide you on foot to the property. The staff will help carry your luggage, but if you have many bags, it’s best to inform them in advance. The highlight of this stay is definitely the walk to the hotel. You walk deep into the forest along towering walls of snow on both sides, and eventually discover the onsen hidden in the woods. It feels truly special and secluded. The lobby area is not very large, and the number of staff is quite limited, but overall the service was very good. Dinner was served at a counter bar, and the chef was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The receptionist at the lobby, who is from Taiwan, speaks English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. She explained everything clearly, helped carry our luggage on the way out, and even assisted with clearing snow off our car. Personally, I found the public onsen area to be a bit disappointing. The floor was icy and slippery, which felt somewhat unsafe. However, the private onsen in the room was excellent — very private, spacious for an in-room bath, with a beautiful view and wonderfully fragrant mineral water. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and peaceful. Mobile signal does not work inside the hotel, but the hotel provides Wi-Fi, which was stable and fast. Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and the hotel responded to emails and accommodated our special dietary requests, which we really appreciated. The only regret was that the snow was extremely deep during our visit, making it hard to fully see and imagine the surrounding scenery.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located near the bus station. The traffic is convenient, clean, the dining is delicious, the boss is very hospitable, because I don’t know Japanese, the boss is very patient to use the mobile phone to translate Japanese into Chinese and communicate with me, because I have to catch the plane. The kitchen gets up early and prepares breakfast for me. After checking out, the boss used the translated text to tell me that the snowy road outside is very slippery, be careful, my heart is very warm
