I booked for two days as a solo traveler. The room was very spacious, and having an elevator made it much more convenient than staying inside the old town. My main activity was hiking, which meant my clothes would get sweaty and dusty. The hotel having a washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient for this, but unfortunately, it suddenly stopped drying on the second day, which was a real shame. The room was well-equipped, though some amenities had minor imperfections. For example, the Xiao Ai smart speaker wasn't connected to the internet, so its smart functions couldn't be used; the hotel might need to ensure it's properly connected. Overall, at this price point, it's an excellent choice. I'd definitely come back again.

The location is great! It's a 5-minute electric scooter ride to the old street and also 5 minutes to the mall. The subway is just a 5-minute walk away, so transportation is super convenient. Plus, there's a convenience store and a pharmacy right downstairs. I booked a smart room. Even though it's street-facing and right by the road, it wasn't noisy at all at night. For breakfast, you can enjoy some authentic Kunming specialties, like their famous rice noodles with toppings (boiled Ersi noodles). Traveling solo, the room size was perfect, and I was very happy with the price. Good value for money!

We had a great time staying here, we had a room with the downstairs bath room which is a unique in design in the old house, love the warm floor in the winter time and love the experience that going up and downs when going to washroom, it was fun! The hotel atmosphere are great and making us feeling like home from the very sec the auntie pick up from the ShuHe old town north gate, to the receptionist introduce the hotel and its culture at the reception bar which has a nice set up with free tea, fruit and home made cake provided. Love the “heart” from the Singapore lady owner to establish and own the place, it is a 情怀 instead of a place run for $$$, the room diary is an awesome gem, feeling blessed to know who else in the word had ever stay in the same room and their stories, made me can’t stop to leave something too. the 3 night stay here made me an unique experience in this trip, love it and will come back again. Please continue to share the heart and love in this place till we r back again :)

A great weekend!! Caught up with Mother's Day, I took my mother to rest for a day. I felt super relaxed from the moment I entered the hotel. The environment is beautiful and the green vegetation covers a large area. Before check-in, Miss Niki (?) contacted and arranged a room upgrade. I am super grateful🥹You can see the jacaranda and blue sky outside from the balcony and feel the wind. The quality of the double breakfast and lunch rice noodle set in the set is absolutely impeccable. There are various snacks. You can try all kinds of small bowls. Paoruda is the best😋The lemon and sour spicy chicken feet in the set are super delicious. I also went to the Chinese restaurant to take a portion home before leaving. Thanks to every staff member I met, including but not limited to Brother Cai Liping at the front desk, Brother Gu Dezhong in the Western restaurant, and a small but energetic lady in the Chinese restaurant (I met her at noon on 5.9/10). I hope I didn’t write everyone’s name wrong🙈 See you next time! ! Definitely come again!

This was probably the best hotel I stayed in Yunnan so far. To start, the room was incredibly clean, new, spacious, and most importantly comfortable, the bed was comfortable and clean when I got there. On top of this, the amenities within the room are amazing, AI assisted curtain and light activation, strong and fast AC system. The bathroom was huge and had individual rooms for the shower and toilet. The shower area had everything needed and was very spacious. Tons of kits for shaving, vanity, and all that you would need for a hotel stay. Even more, there was an air purifier and majiang table. If you order delivery there is a robot that sends the food to your room. Staff were very friendly and dependable, gifts were given during leaving, there was also a free breakfast and bridge crossing rice noodle kit that you could order anytime, very tasty! Lastly, and also very important for travelers, the location is superb, being situated close to the city center and only a 15 minute drive from the train station and opposite side of town. Very convenient!! The area is also quiet and relatively clean.

The hotel is new and compact, but it's fully equipped. The laundry room is great, and there's a beautiful courtyard garden. The heated pool is perfect for photos, and breakfast is also good. Its location is excellent – close to the Starlight Night Market but without any noise. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. To the left of the main entrance, you can rent an electric scooter, and to the right, there's a small convenience store where you can buy rubber boots for rainforest trekking. Very convenient!

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They gave my mom and me a welcome rose each, which was a lovely touch and brightened our day. Seeing that I had two children, they thoughtfully provided two sets of kids' toiletries. All the other front desk staff were super nice too! The doorman at the entrance was also fantastic, promptly helping us with our luggage. The housekeeping staff were very kind and friendly as well. In my parents' room, they noticed the fruit wasn't fresh and specifically changed it out for fresh fruit from the day. In the evening, there was even peach gum sweet soup for a late-night snack, and any requests for room service were attended to promptly. Service definitely gets a perfect score! However, the room space was a bit small, and the overall facilities were relatively old. The bathroom exhaust fan seemed to be out of order, and the weighing scale was broken. There wasn't a separate shower, so we had to shower in the bathtub, which was a bit inconvenient (especially not very friendly for older guests). But these minor issues didn't overshadow the experience. The hotel's location is unbeatable, directly facing Cuihu Park. You step out and you're right in front of a scenic spot, with different attractions and various eateries conveniently located on both sides. On the night we stayed, we even stumbled upon the Cui Sheng Sheng Music Corner right outside the hotel, and this wonderful musical encounter made our night even more beautiful. My trip to Kunming was just fantastic! This time, it was just a one-night stay as a transit stop, but next time, I must specifically plan to stay in Kunming for several days.

Location: A Poetic Retreat in the Ancient Town Just a twenty-minute drive from Lijiang Station, this hidden gem by Shuhe River is easily accessible. Cobblestone paths lead to its entrance, and from your window, you'll be greeted by the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – an ethereal ink wash painting suspended in the sky, shrouded in mist in the mornings and bathed in golden hues at sunset. Shuhe Ancient Town is a mere ten-minute walk away, and while Dayan and Baisha are just a short drive, the hotel offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, providing a tranquil 'away from the city, yet not far' experience. Culinary Delights: A Symphony of Yunnan Flavors and Lake Breezes For breakfast, you absolutely must try the crossing-the-bridge noodles at Yuechu: a simmering copper pot and ten side dishes added in sequence, so fresh you can almost taste the breeze from Erhai Lake. For dinner, I highly recommend the mushroom feast at Dianxiang Restaurant. Their matsutake steam pot chicken is cooked without a single drop of water, the sweetness seeping from the bones. The most unforgettable experience, however, was the lakeside barbecue. As dusk settled, the charcoal crackled, and grilled black goat ribs, seasoned with chili powder, paired perfectly with a 'Feng Hua Xue Yue' beer. Looking up, the silhouette of the snow-capped mountains reflected in the lake, and even the wind carried the scent of pine needles. Cultural Immersion: A Living Naxi Museum The hotel itself is a work of art. Spread across 180,000 square meters of gardens, the building density is less than 15%, with traditional 'San Fang Yi Zhao Bi' (three rooms, one screen wall) structures, featuring white walls and blue tiles, scattered throughout. In the mornings, practicing Qigong in the courtyard, you can hear the chanting of Dongba scriptures drifting from the tea house. In the afternoon, while following a photo tour group, the photographer will point out that the patterns on the screen wall represent 'frog god's blessings,' and the intricate carvings on the pillars tell stories of the Tea Horse Road.

This stay was absolutely fantastic, definitely five stars! The lobby is very grand, and the hotel itself is genuinely impressive. We even received a welcome drink package upon check-in. The breakfast was rich, varied, and incredibly delicious – seriously good! The mattress was so soft and comfortable; I slept wonderfully all night. **Environment:** The environment is beautiful, quiet, and spotless. It made for a very pleasant stay, and all the hygiene details were meticulously taken care of. **Service:** The front desk staff were efficient, patient, and provided excellent service. Every request for room cleaning or other needs was promptly addressed. **Facilities:** The room was spacious, bright, and fully equipped with a high level of smart technology. The laundry room and gym were also well-appointed. And one last thing to add! Ms. Tongxin Lianlian at the front desk had an absolutely wonderful attitude!

The service was excellent, both at the front desk and in the restaurant; everyone was so welcoming and the service was just right, making us feel completely at home. I loved the decor, and the room was spacious and quiet – great value for money. I needed to do some writing, and the front desk staff kindly found a small desk lamp for me, which was so thoughtful! It would be even more perfect if some rooms had a desk and a lamp, as some guests, like me, need to work or write. I really enjoyed the comfortable sofas and tables in the lobby on the first floor, and there was even an electric fireplace where you could sit and read!

GGuest UserAmbiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal. Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view. Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view. One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good. One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five. Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!

SShuijingxieI took my kids out for a vacation on May Day. The experience was five-star praise, and the service was very good. The environment was garden-style and very comfortable! The restaurant has a complete range of delicious dishes, and there is also a book bar and hot springs. A SPA was also given. It was a very good experience and I will come again if I have the chance. I will also recommend it to friends. Afternoon tea experience: nice Airport pick-up service: The driver and the master provided good service, and the business car was also very comfortable

GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded our expectations! It's right on Erhai Lake with amazing views, especially from the executive lounge – it blows all the coffee shops outside out of the water. The happy hour in the evening, while a set menu, was delicious – light, tasty, and substantial enough to be a full dinner. The spa in the executive room was also noteworthy; the massage was very thorough. Our butler, King, provided excellent service, always accommodating our requests. We stayed for two nights, and the service was fantastic from airport pickup to drop-off. When we couldn't make it to the executive lounge for dinner one night, they even packed it up and brought it to our room for us. I haven't encountered such a dedicated butler in a long time – he deserves a huge compliment! The drivers for the hotel's airport shuttle service were also very responsible. The 1799 executive package was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it to everyone!

KKenny GTReview of Bantang·White House, Lijiang Bantang·White House in Lijiang is nothing short of exceptional, offering a level of service and hospitality that sets a new standard for luxury accommodations. From the moment we planned our arrival, the staff’s proactive approach was evident. Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise. Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

YYuxiaoyu1122The hotel environment is genuinely good, and the location is convenient, right outside the bustling streets of the ancient city. The service is just okay – not bad, but not great either. It's truly just 'okay.' How can I put it? Perhaps it still has a long way to go to feel 'cordial' or 'like a home away from home.' Room service through the phone was responsive, and food deliveries arrived promptly. The gym service was also quite good, truly commendable. However, perhaps the staff were too tired, lacking a bit of a smile. (I know I shouldn't expect too much, but I can only rate based on my genuine feelings.) When we checked in, the concierge at the door promptly opened it and helped with our luggage. When checking out, the concierge at the door might have been busy; initially, they didn't offer to help open the trunk for our luggage. It was only after seeing me struggle to open it myself that they came over to assist. And honestly, there's no comparison without contrast. We spontaneously decided to stay in Kunming for two extra days, so we booked the InterContinental in Kunming. The front desk gentleman who checked us in, seeing that we were a family of five, immediately gave me an extra breakfast (because my room's rate meant my two older children were counted as adults). We stayed for three nights in two rooms in Lijiang, and we were even considering extending our stay, but we didn't receive even a small gift, let alone an extra breakfast (I had to pay for breakfast every day myself). Money isn't the issue; it's the feeling of the service. The InterContinental in Lijiang genuinely falls short in this regard. Oh, and the breakfast was pretty good, depending on what you compare it to, of course (it's really no match for places like Four Seasons or Park Hyatt, and the breakfast restaurant service experience isn't as good as Sheraton's). The latte was standard hotel quality. The other breakfast options were quite rich, and the member area offered fresh juices and handmade yogurt. The breakfast also featured some local snacks like baked milk, chicken soup rice noodles, tofu, and shredded chicken cold noodles, all available at the hotel, but the taste wasn't particularly amazing – just average, nothing memorable. I hope this review can encourage you to improve your service and also provide a real reference for other customers. (The above are purely my personal feelings.)

MM23673****Our stay at Songtsam Linka was truly wonderful, with the biggest surprises being the hotel's Thangka museum and the exclusive guided tour of Songtsam Monastery. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, not only meticulously explaining the craftsmanship and culture of Thangka art but also leading us on a deep dive into the historical origins and architectural features of Songtsam Monastery. We were even lucky enough to witness monks attending class, offering an immersive experience of the solemnity and profundity of ******* culture. While the hotel's facilities aren't exceptionally luxurious, they are clean and comfortable, blending perfectly with the surrounding natural and cultural environment. What truly leaves a lasting impression is its rich cultural essence, seamlessly combining accommodation with a profound cultural experience, making it a rare and unforgettable cultural journey.

Ee cho youTook my beloved to Dali for New Year's Day. After calling to inquire about the room types, I decisively made a reservation. The butler was beautiful and provided attentive service every day, answering all our questions and even arranging a thoughtful itinerary for visiting the Three Pagodas. Both the estate's environment and the breakfast were full of delightful surprises. Upon arrival, Dali's winter cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the cherry trees at the entrance were absolutely stunning. The hot spring pool was very comfortable, and while soaking, we could even spot little squirrels scampering on the trees. My partner loved every detail of the estate, and we'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance.
