Stayed here for one night before an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable, view to the Airport and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is currently under renovation, but this was well managed with no construction noise at all. The free shuttle to the airport takes about 5 minutes, which makes this hotel very convenient for transit stays. Overall a pleasant, hassle-free stopover.
The location is superb, walkable distance to Darul Hana bridge, India Street, Carpenter Street and Borneo Cultures Museum. Plaza Merdeka is right beside the hotel, you can go to the mall through hotel lobby. I love how comfy the bed is and receptionist is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
Convenient location opposite a local eatery area and coin-laundry across the road from the main entrance. There is direct access via a glass door from lobby to Boulevard Mall which has a small food court, smart supermarket, Watson, Guardian, Pizza Hut, Mr DIY.
Hotel pool & gym at level 6. The gym has spacious floor space including 2 separate areas for yoga and exercises, away from the good range of equipment & free weights.
My corner Deluxe room is spacious (45 M2,) with separate sitting area and even a timber deck for kids or exercises. Big comfortable bed/firm mattress, clean shower/bath room with strong water pressure, window offers good view of Kuching city all way to Matang and Santubong.
Breakfast buffet offers both Malaysian & Western hot food, fruits, salad and yoghurt, tea, coffee, teh tarik and fruits drink.
Location:Very close to airport. Below is 7-11,and mamak store. Very good location.
Cleaniness:Bed sheet has stain ,toilet have small crocoach. Toilet water stuck. Room is smelly
Facility: Toilet door no lock. Have hot water. Provide soap and towel only. Charger got two, one beside the bed, one behind the tv. Behind the tv have limited spare, cant use for phone charger
Stayed at the old wing (block where the main lobby is). Everything needs an upgrade. From the carpet to the doors of the cabinet and working desk, the power plugs on the wall, the phone, the bathroom with mould in the corners etc. it’s also always cold in the old wing. Slept without turning on the air con every night.
Breakfast was buffet style and had a good variety. But for me; the only thing that was good was the coffee machine. Maybe also because I’ve been to this city many times and I know there are a lot of good food just a few mins walk away.
Staff was great though. Housekeeping cleaned the bathtub rubber mat for me, brought water when asked and cafe staff were friendly and nice.
Many other hotel options in the city; I wouldn’t recommend this one.
What i love the most is the pillow...so comfortable and i forgot to ask what the brand is because i feel so good while sleeping since i have a back pain. The food is delicious especially laksa sarawak..feel soooo good. The location is also nice within tourist attraction.
I’m in Sibu for a business trip and staying at this hotel for the first time. They provide secure parking with guards, so I felt very safe leaving my car here. The rooms are decent—not brand new, but well-maintained. I especially loved the buffet breakfast; it’s very spread out and delicious. If having a good breakfast is a priority for you, I highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel looked decent from the outside, but the room itself was pretty average. The room I was given had issues; the toilet wouldn't flush. Breakfast was okay, but overall, I'd say it was just so-so.
Must choose river view room, it can see the whole Kuching river front especially in the night. The location is very convenient for food searching. The breakfast is very scrumptious and there is a wide variety of food choices in the buffet.
Please monitor the kitchen staffs as they served food after 40 minutes and the worst part was where the Seafood Aglio Alio was bland , flavorless until i asked to the salt WITH GARLIC BREAD THAT HARD AS STONE (As you might lose ur tooth if you bite it but luckily the male waiter willing to replace qoth the new one for both meals tht served with garlc bread) The cashier didnt even greet the customers whom waited for the food more than 40 minutes & she was super slow. Please monitor ur front desk staff as well as she promised to called us of the rolm is READY and we received 0 call. Hope management will look into this matter and the staffs need better PR with customers as your hotel is rated 8.2 stars by Agoda. Thnx.

Very Good
HHebianxiaocao1The location is quite convenient, with Chinese-run tea restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet is good. The staff are very friendly, and the rooftop pool and gym are great, offering a nice view of the sunset! It's not far from the supermarket and Canada Hill. I recommend climbing Canada Hill for city views; there's also an oil museum to visit inside.
SsuekNot aware that pullman was having some renovation and we need to take staircase to level 2 and get the lift to our room.
Also next day after cleaner done the room service noticed she pressed the toilet bowl flush button too hard and never bounced back caused water kept flushing nonstop. Lucky I have returned to hotel room as, forgot to take something and tried to pull that flush button up. I I felt still have room for improvement for quality or cleaner.
Overall the counter staffs and others are very friendly and helpful too.
Good location of this hotel and look forward again to stay hopefully the renovation done.
GGuest UserThe children’s pool with slides requires better maintenance, as insects were present. Parking is located quite far from the main area; however, buggy services are available and helpful. All staff members were very friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay.
The room was spacious. Although we did not receive a full sea view—only a partial one—the scenery was still stunning. The ambience of the resort is very refreshing, with high ceilings and a breezy environment that creates a relaxing atmosphere. There are many activities available, and the resort is within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Swimming is not very suitable due to strong tides, but the soft sand makes it ideal for children to play.
There are two large pools: one specifically designed for children with slides, and another main pool where mini kayaks and floating flamingos are available for rent. The kids’ activity area is very creative, with games such as dam ular and various board games.
The breakfast buffet offered a good range of choices, although I had a better dining experience during a previous visit for work purposes. Unfortunately, room service dining was not satisfactory—the fries were soggy, the fried rice was overly oily, and the carbonara was average. There was also some confusion regarding a 20% insider discount, as we were initially informed it was applicable, but later told that the discount was only valid at Horizon Café not in room service. They should explain better :(
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and with some improvements—particularly in maintenance and food quality—it could be an even better experience.
GGuest UserAbsolutely loved our stay at Jinhold Hotel. The room was spacious, clean and the room amenities were nicely done. The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, great value and we would definitely stay here again.
TTravellingmaudeCheck in was quick and smooth, and the reception staff were courteous and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the bedding was comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. The hotel has taken steps towards sustainability, and we appreciated the unlimited filtered water provided, which reduced the need for bottled water.
The breakfast spread was excellent with a good variety of options, and we really enjoyed that part of the stay.
A couple of points to note. The air conditioning in the room was not very strong, and we did feel a bit warm at times. The hairdryer was also on the weaker side, which made drying hair slow.
Overall, a comfortable stay with good service and a strong breakfast offering, with minor improvements that could make the experience even better.
AAnonymous UserI booked a Standard Hill View King on Chinese New Year Eve, The overall stay is a decent one, was provided with one King size bed and one single size bed, room was equipped with one mini fridge, one kettle and some cups, tissues, TV but the satellite line was bad as TV line appears unstable, small hair dryer, you can refer to photo I posted for amenities and room view, what I showed is all I got. Breakfast wasn't many choice but good enough, they have laksa, kolomee, salad, nasi lemak, bread
GGuest UserMust choose river view room, it can see the whole Kuching river front especially in the night. The location is very convenient for food searching. The breakfast is very scrumptious and there is a wide variety of food choices in the buffet.
ZZulu TravellerEasy location halfway between Kuching airport and city centre. Very friendly guy at the reception speaks English with a US accent.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. No complaints.
Breakfast the choice was very limited. But what they had was pretty tasty. No coffee machine, sadly.
Overal very adequate for the price they charge.
WWonderousI always stay here with my kids when I go back to Kuching. We chose this place because it is near our relative’s house. Room with window is a little dusty. We stayed one extra night with no window. We slept so well.
JJohana binti JohariRoom with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.
