Pet Friendly Hotels in Guangxi, China

Facilities: The facilities were excellent and fully equipped; we had everything we needed, including a washing machine, and the air conditioning was very powerful. Cleanliness: The place was spotlessly clean and very tidy – excellent. Environment: The environment was superb! With the ocean right outside the window, the view was absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea. Service: The owner was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive.

The hotel facilities are quite complete; everything you'd expect is there! It's also quite new, and overall good. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, it has all the essentials. Big thumbs up for the laundry room! The soundproofing is excellent! The TELD charging station next to the hotel didn't work, I hope they can fix that soon. Also, the bathroom light switch is linked to the TV, which makes no sense to me! Everything else was great.

After turning left from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi Countryside, it wasn't long before we saw their sign. Due to ongoing road construction and new guesthouses being built at the entrance, the road conditions aren't great. During the rainy season, it can be quite muddy and difficult to navigate. This is a 7-story building. Since it's winter now, there isn't much scenery to speak of (it should be beautiful in spring and autumn). The 7th floor has an infinity pool with expansive views. On the 1st floor, they occasionally offer roasted sweet potatoes, and the hotel also provides free bicycle rentals. The room was exceptionally clean; the lobby had a pleasant ambiance from the moment I entered. There was no unpleasant smell in the room, and the water was Nongfu Spring, which tasted a little sweet. Attention to detail is key. They even provided disinfected towels, bath towels, slippers, and disposable toilet seat covers. It's also very convenient to get to the ancient city; it only takes a few minutes by car. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in Chongzuo.

The accommodation was lovely. Right next to West Street but a little further up so it didn’t feel overwhelming at night. (Could only hear very distant music on a Friday night and I have a feeling that’s similar in all the hotels in the area). Loooovely girls at the front. They did their best with their English and I did my best with Chinese and we got there in the end. Gave me tips on how to get around by bike and tried the best to make me feel welcome (I was travelling solo). Clean rooms. The building is a bit old but like most building in the area. The rooms were super super clean though so I was very happy about that. This was the view from my window ＜3

The room was absolutely fantastic! I came during the off-season, and before arriving, I read a ton of reviews. Some people were complaining about it being dirty or messy, and even saying that Guilin ripped people off, which made me really nervous. But as soon as I saw the guesthouse entrance, I was like, 'Wow!' It was super great! Super cute! Super beautiful! The main entrance alone was picture-perfect. After checking in, the owner immediately started recommending things – all sorts of delicious food and fun activities. The hostess even told me the best routes to avoid detours and the best places to eat, and not a single recommendation disappointed me or led me astray. Oh, and the location is also superb! Just across the street is Chun Ji Restaurant, and a short walk further is Elephant Trunk Hill – super close and very convenient for me, even with elderly people. There are shared e-scooters everywhere, which is really handy. Places like Zheng Yang Road are just a taxi ride away, usually under 10 yuan. The interior environment is also excellent! Who said it was dirty?! It's amazing, seriously!

This is a very smart boutique hotel, with furnishings in the room elegant and stylist. Also love the handy location to the shops and eateries. Two eateries have become our favourite dining places. One is the rice cooked in a porcelain pot with yummy crusts costing two of us only 60 yuan with double boiled soup as well. The other one is a proper restaurant serving Cantonese yumcha for breakfast and lunch, also servicing dinner. The best thing is there are two Cantonese opera shows per day at 10.30 and 12.30 each day, patrons eat while being entertained by real artists. When you are in Nanning, you must visit Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area and Nanhu Park. If you are going to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, do not miss the coffee place on the side of the temple. They serve beautiful drinks and croissant.

Had a truly wonderful and relaxing weekend at Sugar House! At night, you can see so many stars from the hotel, and the greenery and fresh air are fantastic. The ducks and bunnies are also well cared for and super cute! The cultural workshops are very unique; there were several I wanted to join, but I only had time for sugar painting and basket weaving. The bamboo raft is super convenient – no need to go to the county pier. You can board directly from the hotel's back entrance. The route is less crowded and the scenery is beautiful. The staff are all very warm and friendly. Our butler, Luna, provided thoughtful service, responded professionally and quickly, and even arranged for the kitchen to make ginger tea for us when she learned we were feeling a bit under the weather. The hotel's homemade date cake and passion fruit cake have a unique taste. I really love hotels with such a warm atmosphere. I'll definitely recommend it to friends and will stay again if I get the chance.

When I first arrived I was quite disappointed that my room didn't look much at all like the photos on the listing. My one recommendation is that this is updated so that people have appropriate expectations... However, I could not help but enjoy my stay here. Overall the hotel felt exceptionally good value, laundry was done for me and I had access to a scooter. Breakfast tea and coffee all included as well. Xiaoming is also a fantastic and attentive host, who seems to look after all his guests well.
