The yurt itself was spacious, with an private bathroom offering stable 24-hour hot water, and the air conditioning worked perfectly for both heating and cooling. Given the significant temperature difference between day and night on the grassland, sleeping with the heating on at night was incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness was exceptional; the bedding was changed for each guest and had no odors, and even the floor and bathroom corners were spotless. I felt completely at ease staying there with my child. Stepping out, you're greeted by vast alpine grasslands with lush green grass and white windmills. You can watch the sunrise in the morning, and at night, with no light pollution, you can lie in bed and gaze at a sky full of stars. The staff were warm and attentive, proactively suggesting grassland sightseeing routes. The restaurant's Mongolian dishes were authentic, the milk tea was rich, and they even offered milder options perfect for kids. The camp had a free bonfire party, which created a fantastic atmosphere, and parking for chartered cars was convenient. However, the tent’s soundproofing and insulation are just average, and the facilities are basic, making it more suitable for younger travelers. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. I brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.

Few people, beautiful scenery, and family-friendly accommodations equal a perfect vacation! The stylishly designed guest rooms are scattered across the vast grasslands, offering exceptional privacy, allowing children to run freely without disturbing others. The rooms are comfortable, and every space is meticulously designed (sitting by the window, gazing at the grassy slopes and simply relaxing is a great way to unwind). We recommend waking up in the morning to watch the mist drift across the valley, hiking the nearby grassy slopes, enjoying the dairy products of herders, and stargazing by the campfire at night—this is the true meaning of ”wild luxury.”

Specifically brought the kids here for Children's Day. The guesthouse environment is great, with a starry sky yurt and convenient parking. They even prepared snacks and drinks in the room. The surrounding area is beautiful and very close to the volcano attractions. The hotel also provided discount vouchers for hot spring tickets. Dining is convenient, and breakfast is excellent, with kids' meals available. On weekend evenings, they even arranged a bonfire and fireworks.

I spent several nights at this hotel and can only highly recommend it. The location is fantastic, it was just steps away from the metro and numerous bus stops, making it incredibly easy to get around. It's also very close to the Dazhao Temple and the Five Pagodas, which was a real bonus for exploring the local heritage without wasting time in transit. I chose to book an apartment style hotel room, and it was such a great decision. After weeks of hopping between one-night hotel stays, I really needed a place to settle down, and this spacious, quiet apartment was exactly what I needed. It was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The service was flawless. The staff were highly responsive over the phone, available day and night. A huge thank you to the team for taking the time to help me ship my packages, that kind of attention really meant a lot to me. Little touches made all the difference: fresh bottles of water were provided every day, and the trash was taken out daily as well. Honestly, everything was just perfect. Just a helpful tip : don't make my mistake! When you arrive, make sure to go to Building A. As you enter the main hall, it's on the left. there's a big sign clearly indicating it. Same goes for when you order on *******: be sure to specify Building A in your delivery address. Otherwise, your order will end up in the building next door (not far, but you'll have to switch elevators). In short, if I ever come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again. A comfortable stay in a great location, the yurts are located just a ten minute walk away from the ticket counter for the Dalinuoer Lake Scenic Area. It's a pretty small town, so it's also close to pretty much every restaurant. The boss is also very friendly, he answered all my questions and helped me with finding transportation. The conditions of the yurt are actually quite good, there's a heating/air conditioning unit, which I used to keep cozy at night, and a full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, hot water etc.). There's also a TV, a variety of charging cables, and free WiFi. The bed is massive, very comfortable and able to fit a family. Body wash, shampoo, hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are provided. For those who may be concerned about such things, it may be useful to note that the door locks from the inside using a deadbolt, and when you leave your yurt for the day you lock it from the outside with a padlock as there's no electronic lock or keycard. It didn't bother me and since the town is very small, I felt pretty safe. As for cleanliness, for what it is (essentially a semi-permanent tent in the rural grasslands) it's very clean. There are vinyl floors and clean sheets, everything seems well maintained. Sometimes little critters like moths fly in, but this is glamping. Of course you shouldn't expect the same type of environment as a regular five star hotel. Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Felt connected to nature while still enjoying my creature comforts.

If you’re staying in Hohhot and want a genuine, memorable experience, this is the place!!! I can’t recommend this homestay enough. From the moment we stepped into the compound, the warmth of the family was immediately felt. You’ll be welcomed by a lovely lady, her husband, and his brother, who treat you less like a guest and more like family. Within minutes of arriving, they greeted us with snacks, a gift, and let us know they were already preparing a local dinner. We sat down with them that evening, sharing a spread of local dishes and drinks, it was a genuinely special night. I don’t speak a word of Chinese, and yet through Translate we had a wonderful time together. Before heading to bed, they asked what time we needed to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for us which was very nice! Morning came with their dogs greeting us and a delicious homemade local breakfast waiting at the table. As for the yurt itself, it’s beautiful and incredibly cozy inside, exactly what you’d hope for. There’s heating in there in case you get cold as well. We stayed two nights, and on our second evening we had to turn in early for an early flight. The other guest, though, stayed up late singing and dancing with the family, which honestly made me wish we could have stayed longer. I’d give this place a 20/10 if I could. I booked it thinking it was just somewhere interesting to sleep for the night. What I didn’t know was that it would end up being a highlight of my trip to China.
