Absolutely have nothing bad to say at all. Customer service here is the absolute best.

We Had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean, large and comfortable beds. Shopping and restaurants are less than 5 mins away. And the lake is 15 mins away. No traffic noise. I recommend this place.

I highly enjoyed the room itself. Every time I stay I cannot stop raving about the structure of the rooms let alone the BATHROOMS? the walk in shower with a mirror and seat is seriously the most beautiful and relaxing “shower” I have ever seen in Arizona and i’ve been to lots of hotels here. Although they do not have a 24 hour service room service, the front desk of always kind and eager to help me with whatever I need. They answer my questions throughly and I am a guest who frequently needs early check in and they always try to accommodate me as best as they can. The pool is a bit small but definitely relaxing and the food in and around the hotel is simply magnificent. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity to!

Convenient accommodation for 1 night. We did not understand their check-in, we showed up at the correct address, address on the voucher, but the reception sent us to another hotel, a little further away.

Had booked our room on booking.com and received a confirmation number. Two women at the counter and it took both of them to take care of one customer. So I waited and when I gave them my name and confirmation number they said I wasn't in the system. I've heard this happening from other reviewers at other hotels. We ended up paying more for a smaller room. Although the room was satisfactory, it was run down and some might call it ”a dump”. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Bit of road noise but solid walls and halls quiet. Area seemed ”sketchy”. There were homeless men in the street and on sidewalk. We discovered a tent camp next to the parking lot. Not the best area but we felt safe. I just can't recommend this hotel and will never stay in a Red Roof Inn again. I'd say this was okay if you're looking for a budget hotel, but we didn't pay a budget price. Stay away!!

The hotel is in the city center and the location is very good! The equipment is very new, there is a shopping mall behind the hotel, shopping is convenient, there are few Chinese people nearby, the outdoor terrace on the second floor of the breakfast hotel feels very delicious. I solved it at a nearby Japanese restaurant in the evening, and there is Starbucks near 200 meters. All of this is very good, the only bad thing is that there is no boiled water, but most hotels in the United States do not, especially this place with few Chinese.

I'm giving this stay one stay due to the room being clean looking. Otherwise it deserves nothing. I regularly use motel 6 when traveling and I know that it isn't the Hampton or Marriott level of hotel. This stay though was the worst stay ever. On my trip from Indiana to California, I called the 800 number to make the reservation in Flagstaff. The lady said this was the only room available. Ok I get there, checked in and bring my stuff inside there is no outlet near the bed just one across the room by the TV. So I couldn't sit in bed and be o. My laptop or be on my cell. Next to the bed there was a table and chair but the bathroom door blocked it when open. No outlet at the table either for working on my laptop. Or cell. Sitting at the table eating dinner, your back is to the TV so no eating and watching TV. After eating all the takeout Chinese, there was no fridge to keep the leftovers, nor microwave to heat it up later. There was a door in the room next to the bathroom, so I think it's a closet? I opened it and nope, it's an adjoining room and I see the next family. Whoops that would have been nice to know earlier... The bathroom had a clothing rack next to the toilet, so whenever you poop or flush guess what.... onto the clothes. There was no tub, just a shower. There was no lip or anything to keep the water inside so the floor got soaked when I showered.... there was one towl rack across the room between the sink and toilet but not close to the shower so I had to walk dripping more water on the bathroom floor to get the towel. So finally I settled in bed ready for a slumber when the baby next door starts wailing. TV is on in the other room, people above me having loud sex above me, people walking by, road noises from the freeway behind the motel... ugh... then someone's car alarm went off 4 times throughout the night... no sleep for me. The fitted sheet also kept popping off the hard matress. Horrible experience So I told front desk about a couple things and she tells me that if I wanted a quiet room I needed to request a 3rd floor room. Um I'm just a passing traveler, shouldn't all the rooms be that way? She also said there was an outlet near the bed, it was behind the bed and I should have pulled the bed away from the wall. Really?? And the shower is for handicap accessibility... well your floor got flooded...

The hotel is located in the city center, next to the university. The hotel we stayed in was just during the Christmas season. Many people opened the party. Both young and old people are happy. The elderly are very grand. Young people are also very popular.

First cheap, second cheap, third is cheap

Friendly staff at check in. I actually thought bed was comfortable despite dingy sheets that made me feel a little dirty. They also allow dogs no extra fee. I had 2 50 pounders so that limits my hotel options. Friendly roach in our room. Room was rather grimy. There’s a penny on the floor in bathroom, if you stay in room 123, pretty sure it’ll still be there because it doesn’t look like it’s actually cleaned. In pic is the roach that was scurrying across the furniture…he didn’t live to scurry any further. Though I am curious how cleaning crew misses trash stuffed in peephole on door. Guess so paranoid individuals can feel safe. Also, how is light switch melted?! It was in desperation to get a hotel; it was an outrageous nightly rate ($164 w tax) for a roach motel. Spend the extra $$ is my suggestion for a cleaner place.

The staff here is great. Great customer service! Very attentive to the customer needs. Rooms are clean and smells good. Overall good experience. Kiddos to Veronica, Chase, and Miranda for their amazing service. Thank you all!

The check in process was ok, although I believe the young lady who assisted me was fairly new to the job so the other gentleman working helped to answer a lot of my questions. They were busy since this was during spring break in the Chicagoland area, Spring Training was occurring and they are located right next to Sloan Park which would logically add to their occupancy. The standard check in time per their website is 4pm. I arrived very early, like 1030am, so I understood that my room was not yet ready since check out wasn’t until 12n. I was notified about 2pm that my room was ready and I was pleased it was ready a bit early until I walked in and took a look around. Sadly it was still dirty. The trash has been emptied and the bedding and towels appeared clean, but my remote control looked like someone blew their nose on it, the room was incredibly dusty, and their was a hairball in the shower. I pointed the remote and the dust out to the housekeeping staff. The supervisor was very apologetic about the condition of the remote control and even provided $40 in vouchers for Stats Grill when she returned with a new remote, but the room was still VERY dusty. Rather than add another “complaint” about the room to their list I decided to just use a wash rag to dust figuring the dusty wash rag would be seen when they came in to clean the room the following day, and dust isn’t nearly as gross as dried snot on a remote. The following morning I left the dusty wash rag on the table along with an empty tissue box I wanted to be sure was replaced with a full one and headed off to the Grand Canyon. When I returned 10 hours later and the room hasn’t been touched. On my way out to dinner I stopped at the front desk and asked what the cleaning schedule was for the rooms, only to find out they don’t enter guest rooms during their stay unless asked to do so. I found this odd considering the Las Vegas situation changed most hotel policies to require, at a minimum, daily inspections, even if it’s just a quick look in the room for safety, and this hotel is right next to Sloan Park which is a particularly high crowd location for about 2 months a year. Aside from finding it odd they didn’t do daily room checks I didn’t think anything more of it though since I travel so often and don’t necessarily need my room attended to daily. I asked them to drop off a box of tissues in my room, which they did, and I headed off to dinner and to watch a friend’s game. I had no other issues with the room the remaining 3 days of my stay…or so I thought. Thursday March 31st at around noon, I stopped at the front desk and asked about how they handle the check out process. They explained the process and that there was no need to do anything with them so I thanked them and made my way to the airport to return my rental car and head home. When I woke up the morning of Friday April 1st I found that I had been charged $250 for “guest damage” and that “damage” was for SMOKING in the room. Here’s

Hard wood floors make this a much better value than other 2 star hotels in the area. Small but a clean bed and bathroom are all that's needed.

El Portal opened the door to time and brought us back to the old days. Snuggled on the sofa in front of the fireplace, listening to the fire blaring, watching the furnishings, oil paintings and crafts furnished around, fully relaxed and comfortable. Especially valuable is that I met the owner and his wife of the hotel, read the brochure written by the gentleman, and deepened my understanding and feelings here. Today we left with gratitude and full memories, and the good memories will live forever! It is recommended to read the brochure written by the male owner.
