This is our favourite hotel in Nuremberg!! Attention to detail on every step of the experience, their crews were simply amazing! They are happy to serve you, not one person but every staff that I encountered. I got a surprise birthday cake in my room with a hand written note, am truly grateful and heartfelt. So thank you, Karl August your neighbourhood hotel. 5 stars and beyond. We will be back again for sure!

At that time, the front desk enthusiastically gave an accommodation guide. I looked carefully the next day and found out that there were free coffee, tea and flying alcohol. Parking is free. There is also a sauna.

From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive. As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep. The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. The hotel boasts a great location, just a few minutes' walk from the bustling riverside area. The rooms are also spacious, equipped with tables, chairs, and coffee tables. The breakfast spread is impressive, and this hotel definitely has the largest breakfast restaurant I've ever seen. However, I can't give full marks for service. I received four bounced emails from the hotel (yes, four!) and ended up waiting at the front desk for 30 minutes for nothing.

I stayed in a family apartment with a loft. It had a kitchen with all the cooking utensils and cutlery, plus a washing machine, fridge, and dishwasher, which made living there very convenient. The only downside was that the loft felt a bit cramped due to the low ceiling height.

For a hotel located by the lake with a relatively high rating, I naturally expected a comfortable and reasonably spacious room with a nice lake view. However, I booked a single room and was honestly very disappointed upon entering. The room was extremely small, the bed felt cramped, and the ceiling was very low due to the sloped roof which means I couldn’t even sit upright on the bed comfortably. Even worse, there was no proper view through the window at all. The window was tiny, making the room quite dark, and it didn’t face anything pleasant. The photos on the website were also quite misleading and did not match the actual room I received. For a room priced at around €150 per night, this kind of space and condition feels unreasonable. To be fair, the facilities in the whole are fairly good. There is a wellness area, a gym, and a restaurant with great food and a nice view. However, the restaurant is also quite expensive, and breakfast is not included and must be paid separately. Given the pricing, I don’t think these aspects deserve excessive praise. What really matters is the room itself. Paying €150 per night for a room of about 15 square meters, with an average ceiling height of less than 2.2 meters and a very tiny window facing other’s balcony, honestly made me feel misled. In my opinion, the room quality does not match the price at all.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. My flight arrived in the morning, and I was able to check in right away without any early check-in fees. The location was fantastic, with a train station, bus stop, Italian restaurant, and German restaurant all nearby. It was absolutely wonderful! The breakfast was incredibly delicious – they had a whole honeycomb for fresh honey, various cheeses, salads, fragrant breads, and my favorite, English breakfast tea ☕️

The hotel is located very close to the train station, but the room (at least the one I had) was quiet as it was facing the inside area. There is a nice small swimming pool included in the room price on the last floor, open from 6 am to 11 pm. The staff was kind and fast

Everything was great, this was the most satisfying hotel stay on my trip to Germany. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very modern, with USB charging ports available. It was incredibly quiet, no noise at all, and the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and underground parking was convenient.
