This Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying.
Hygiene: The hotel room is very clean and well-equipped with air purifiers! But in fact, the environment near the hotel is very close to nature, and the air here is much fresher than in the city.
Location: The only drawback of this hotel may be its location. Since this hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it can only be reached by car, shuttle bus or taxi. I took a taxi from Kaga Onsen Station. The journey took about 12 minutes and the fare was about 3,200 yen. I think the price is reasonable because the attitude of taxi drivers here is much better than in Hong Kong. If you don’t think it is expensive, you can give it a try. In addition, the hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be reserved. You can inform the hotel staff in advance.
Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢). The employees in the store were very patient and attentive in asking customers about their situation and taking care of them. safety. Since there are many Japanese locals there, I am almost the only foreigner in the whole hotel, but the staff will try their best to translate for me. I am very grateful to them. 🫶🏼
Facilities: There are various activity rooms, but I have not seen them in detail. Most of them require reservation.
I hope this helps everyone who wants to go to Kaga Onsen. 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I stayed well for a day. It rained heavily on the day, but it warmed up in a warm hot spring. The staff kindly explained. The transfer is a pity, but I took the village bus because there are few users.
There is nothing around because it is a countryside.
It is said that the area around the hot spring was lively in the 1970s.
Our stay in Morino Sumika was wonderful. This hotel is probably one the best Hotel (Ryokan) We’ve ever stayed in Japan. We are so impressed with their service. The staffs are polite and responsive even though language barrier. We stayed in a room with open air bath type with balcony looking at the slope garden and hotel itself. The architecture is stunningly beautiful. Room are spacious and bigger than we had expected. The room layout is great. We are so amazed with the hotel facility and everything in the hotel that we want to spend much more time at the hotel rather than going out.
The hotel is about 5 km away from Kagaonsen Station in the area called Yamashiro Onsen. They offer shuttle service which we contact them via email. Yamashiro Onsen is very nice and calm.
FYI… Kagaonsen Station is 20 minutes travel from Kanazawa by Hokuriku Shinkansen… very convenience..
The room is a bit old and the surrounding environment is a bit remote.
The environment is quiet, and people who like quiet will be very suitable.
The restaurant is good too.
Especially the front desk service of the hotel, the English is very good, the service attitude is also very good, patient and enthusiastic.
The manten no tsujinoya is one of the newest hotels in Komatsu, having been renovated in 2024. With JR Awazu Station just 4km away and Komatsu Airport only 15km away, transportation is very convenient. With multiple attractions nearby including Omatsu Takamatsu Statue, Awazuosshobe Park and Kaga traditional crafts village Yunokuni no mori, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Komatsu hotel provides parking on site.
I saw it introduced on SNS and made a reservation.
I thought that SNS was just showing the photos well, but I'm glad I decided here, including the charm that cannot be conveyed by the photos. As an example, cooking. The whole throat black is salted, and the body is easy to loosen from the bones, and the exquisite salt is healed from the sea bathing, and it goes well with the all-you-can-drink beer. I was able to meet such a nice inn because I had a full reservation on other sites, but thanks to Trip.com's schedule (and the lowest price)? If there was a parliament, I would like to use it again.
The location of the hotel is very central, and it belongs to the first-line lake view location. The hotel’s male bath is good, and the room area is super large, at least 40 square meters or more, so Ctrip's information is still not accurate enough. Then the lake view room is estimated to have a front lake view, and the ordinary Japanese-style room is also a side lake view. Because it is not a weekend, it is the lowest starting price, which is less than RMB 1,000, which is the starting price of 7,500 per night for two meals in the hotel. The meals are all buffet in the morning and evening. The varieties are indeed not high-end, and the prices are there, but there is a self-service sukiyaki pot for three months from December to February, and there is unlimited draft beer. This can be said to be fully worth the room rate. Next door Japan The uncle really drank eight glasses. There is a direct bus from Kanazawa, and a free shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station, but reservations are required. There is a direct bus to Komatsu Airport. See the picture for details.
During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan.
The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.

GGuest UserI booked four sets of rooms for one night. I didn’t expect the four sets of rooms that had been paid on the program. After arriving at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount of the four suites, but the hotel waiter’s English level was very poor. I disturbed for an hour in speechlessness. Later, I learned that the payment on the program was originally a deposit. God! For such a simple matter, the hotel waiter clearly told me that the payment you paid on the program was all a deposit. Why do you say that we didn't pay? I was late to the hotel this day, so I was delayed for another hour, and we had no time to enjoy the hotel facilities. I hope that the platform and the hotel will communicate better in the future to avoid this situation. This time it really brought me inconvenience. Except for this hotel, the whole is very good.

GGuest UserIt was my first time there.
It was more than worth the price!
The accommodation, bath, and food were all above our expectations. My family and I have been talking about how we really want to come back.
However, when my children and I asked the staff where the vending machines were at night, they were cleaning up so it may have been difficult, but we were completely ignored right in front of us, which was a little sad.
I would like to go back again if I listen carefully to the initial explanation.
Other than that it was great.
LLouise_JYJYStay in the 105 pine green of the pine wind, and there is a small open-air hot spring bath in the room.
You can choose two bathrobes to wear in the store, and the bathrobe colors are very good.
The dinner was very rich, but the cold dishes were a bit too much, which was a bit difficult for the Chinese to adapt.
There are two public hot spring baths, men and women will exchange in the morning and evening, and the open-air hot springs on the first floor are particularly cool at night.
