Sapporo Gokoku Shrine Review

It was warmer this weekend so we came to this shrine, which was crowded, not only with tourists but also many locals. The shrine is still very large, so if you have a guide, it will make your tour more convenient and interesting. If you have been here once before, it will be much easier to come by yourself the second time. Recommend this shrine.

In the central city of Sapporo, there are mainly worshipped gods, such as Hokkaido pioneering gods, Tianmangong gods and so on.

Sapporo Custodian Shrine is located in the Central District of Sapporo City, founded in the Meiji period. The shrine was originally built to sacrifice the soldiers who died in the Southwest War. Later, the shrine also laid down the dead in various wars. Nowadays, the main gods are Hokkaido Pioneer God, Tianmangong God and so on.

The environment is good to commemorate the victims of the war.
