Guest UserExcellent location if you're by train or car.
2 car parks directly behind the hotel, one of which in the open (park 2), which will obviously make the car rather hot in the summer. Park 1 is covered, though sadly the Nissan Roox Keicar was too tall to fit.
Train station is directly opposite.
The onsen up top is in need of some refurbishment, but it is frequented by locals, when you visit show room keycard and the nice lady will provide you towels.
The room was large, spacious, clean and the beds comfy, the room looked as if it had been recd to refurbished, and it's directly above a Lawson as well as a tulleys coffee. So lots of convenience.
Just be advised there's not much to do here except the first few shrines of the pilgrimage and some other points that require a car. I wouldn't recommend visiting any other way. And exit to the east via the art museum and circle around via Kobe and Himeji was a highlight of our trip.
Hotel is excellent and very good value for money. Recommended.

My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended.

Guest UserLocated on the top of the mountain, it has a great view, operates a large public bath with an open-air bath, and is not crowded, so you can use it in a leisurely atmosphere.
It is mostly visited by locals, and has facilities tailored to the elderly.
It also provides high-quality dinner and breakfast, so it is a hotel that is good for resting in a quiet atmosphere overall.

The hotel is located at the seaside hotel on National Road 55. The environment is beautiful, the hotel facilities are very good, the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are very beautiful, the room is Japanese, the place is comfortable, the waiter is friendly, and there is a large bath, you can soak in the bath to eliminate the fatigue of the day. If it is passing by here, it is worth staying at this hotel. Then continue the journey.

KFFGGWe traveled during the Awa Odori Festival and chose to stay at Anan because it was less crowded. This super hotel also maintained its usual high standards, with many details just right. I recommend it for self-driving tours, as parking is convenient. Special thanks to Mr. and Ms. Sugihara for their excellent service.

This time, I drove to Oboke and stayed at the hotel. There's free parking outside, but no restaurants nearby. Lawson and a few shops (closing at 5 PM) are a few minutes' drive from the hotel. The hotel staff were polite, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The tatami bedroom was made up for us by the staff upon check-in, and there was also a small balcony. The hotel's meals (two meals per night) were excellent; dinner and the buffet breakfast are highly recommended.
