The hotel is close to Edinburgh, making it suitable for travelers planning a trip to Edinburgh by car. It's conveniently located, offers free parking, and the owners are warm, hospitable, and easy to communicate with. However, it's an old house, so all facilities are dated, don't have too high expectations.
This is one of the most stunning hotels in the area! We had a room with a private hot tub overlooking the sea and it was fantastic 😍
That hotel has everything to offer for a pleasant stay; the views, comfortable rooms, attentive personnel, delicious food and an amazing selection of drinks.

Let me talk about the advantages first. This inn is on the outskirts of Edinburgh, about 10 kilometers drive, and the location is good. Accommodation in Edinburgh is high and parking is difficult. Therefore, choosing to stay here is quite good; the other is that parking is very convenient, the hotel is in front of the parking lot, parking spaces are sufficient. 9 pounds a night, this parking fee level is simply cabbage price in the UK, very friendly for self-driving. The inn can see the idyllic scenery of the UK at the entrance of the inn, very beautiful. The disadvantage is that the price is not cheap, there is no elevator, although the floor is not high, there are 3 floors, but if there is a lot of luggage, it will take a little effort. The air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted by itself and it is hot enough. There is nothing wrong with it.

A short 1 night stay while visiting friends nearby. In short the location, service, & breakfast were all good, but the hotel building is need of some work. It's a lovely period property in the style that is expected with creaking floorboards, sash windows, and curious corridors leading to uniquely shaped rooms. The single room was compact and had been somewhat modernised, the bed was comfortable and clean, but sadly that didn't extend into the bathroom/shower-room that needed some work. Perhaps most noticably there are many simple things that would bring the room fully up to scratch such as sorting out the grouting in the bathroom, replacing the noisy extractor fan, removing mould from around the bathroom ceiling, replacing the dirty net curtain on the window, washing the carpet regularly & hoovering more carefully. Similarly with the front of the building, give all the painted areas a refresh, peeling paint is not a good first impression when parking the car. The full scottish breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Hopefully if I do return on a visit next year the owners will have made some improvements to the building as it could be a lovely hotel with much higher review scores.

FFrankieexuThe two small buildings at the entrance are also hotel rooms. Although there is no air conditioning, there is basically no need for air conditioning here. We stayed in mid-September and needed to turn on the electric heater to sleep. . The temperature was just right during the day and it was so comfortable. Picture 1 shows a large room, Picture 2 shows a large room downstairs and a small room upstairs. Picture 3 shows the main building of the hotel from a distance, the sentinel building at the door of where I live. 🫣

GGuest UserNice hotel, located near supermarket, local shops, pubs, the beach and harbour. The hotel has a beer garden and covered outdoor area as well as the bar and restaurant. On a wednesday all main course items are half price.
BBOYO&NICKYIt is a very good atmosphere. Have used the service in the hotel section, the room is good, warm. Good quality breakfast You can walk to see the atmosphere next to the golf course. The staff are also good service.
