The location is good but still about 20-25 minutes drive from the main areas to visit. Facilities after 15 years are getting a bit outdated. The most disappointing part was the food quality at the restaurant. We had 2 dinners. While breakfast is ok I had higher expectations for the food at the restaurant. I have no problem paying a higher price but it should come with higher quality food. Definitely can be improved. Staff was helpful. Pool table very old and outdated. Would I recommend it ? Maybe one night.

I'm a solo backpacker and I'm used to staying in small hostels. Wow, what a difference! It feels so good to be back in comfort! These are very comfortable bungalows. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable, the air conditioning works perfectly, as does the Wi-Fi. The bathroom is spacious and hot water is readily available. There's even a swimming pool. The location is really nice: the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Tam Coc pier. This location allows you to be away from the hustle and bustle, in a very peaceful environment surrounded by rice paddies. There's no view directly from the hotel, but the surrounding area is beautiful and pleasant to explore. There are also several restaurants nearby. Breakfast is excellent, prepared on-site with several options to choose from. I particularly recommend the honey pancakes, which were delicious. They are served with fresh fruit and juice. It's also possible to rent scooters or bicycles, as well as book transfers and various activities directly on site. I highly recommend this place, whether you're a solo backpacker looking for a comfortable break, a couple, or a family. The quality-to-comfort ratio is excellent. The family who runs the place is very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help.

We had a wonderful stay over the Tet holiday. The hotel is located in downtown Tam Coc but just off a small side street, so little to no street noise from the main road. The room was just as pictured, very spacious and welcoming. Kettle and fridge are provided. No tea or coffee in the room but available in the reception area. We had a mountain view and little balcony area where we could watch fireworks on Tet eve. Breakfast was made to order and there were many choices to pick from. We loved the omelette and baguette. The service and hospitality of the owners was amazing. Even though they had may guests, we still felt cared for. We were able to do laundry with them, they rented a scooter to us for 3 days and provided a nice map of the area with notable landmarks. We highly recommend staying here if you visit Ninh Binh.

We also stayed at this hotel in Ninh Binh. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, although there were a few things that could be improved. The location is good, surrounded by beautiful greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The road leading to the hotel is a bit bumpy, but it’s manageable. We stayed in a bungalow, which was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The only issue with the bungalow was the strong smell of incense. It was noticeable throughout our stay and didn’t seem to disappear. I’m quite sensitive to strong scents, so it was a little uncomfortable for me. I’m not sure whether it was used to keep mosquitoes away or for another reason. Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it didn’t look very clean. We noticed insects floating in the water, including a cockroach, and there was quite a lot of kids, so we decided not to swim. Apart from those issues, the hotel was enjoyable. The peaceful surroundings, lush greenery, and kind staff made for a relaxing stay. If the pool were maintained better and the strong incense smell reduced, the experience would have been much better.

A very friendly family runs this small homestay. We felt very comfortable. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. A delicious breakfast was also provided, and if the weather is warm enough, you can use the pool. Otherwise, it's also pleasant to relax on the sun lounger in front of the pool. Many thanks to the whole family who run this homestay and ensured we had a wonderful stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at La Lua Resort Ninh Binh. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are immaculate, very spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall, the room, including the decor, was perfect. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They assisted us in arranging taxis to and from the resort, everything went smoothly, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The pool and the general environment of the hotel are also perfect – peaceful, relaxing, and very well maintained. The resort is only a few minutes from the city center, but its location is very quiet and calm, which makes it ideal for a relaxing vacation in Ninh Binh. There are also free bicycles available, which is a great way to explore the surrounding area. In addition, there is an on-site restaurant, so you can easily have lunch and dinner at the hotel if you prefer not to go elsewhere. The food is very good and the breakfast is excellent. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located by the road, but the car noise wasn't bothersome, although the windows faced the road. The room was quite cool; only the air conditioning, set to 29 degrees, helped, but it didn't start working immediately. The refrigerator wasn't functional, and the shower water was warm but not hot. Breakfast was good, and the staff was polite. Just a heads-up, the slippers are not disposable.

This made it much easier to plan our time and see all the highlights. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and beautifully located. It’s a great place to relax after a busy day exploring Ninh Binh's viewpoints and boat tours. I also want to highlight the atmosphere—you can genuinely feel that guests are warmly welcomed here, not just treated as another transaction. It's these small, family-run hotels that often leave the warmest travel memories. If you're looking for a comfortable and heartfelt place to experience Ninh Binh, The View Point Home & Spa is definitely worth considering.

I had such a good experience here at Sunshine Villa, i was a solo traveller and decided to book it because of the views and the price of the room, and I'm so glad I booked it. I was expecting to drop off my bags early and not be able to check in but they allowed me to check in early. The lady at the front counter was such a sweet person. She gave great recommendations to places to visit and for food, and easily helped me rent an ebike. She was so nice and helpful and made this trip in Ninh Binh so great! The views were amazing for my room and all the appliances are new and very modern. Bed was comfy, and also the guy at the front was very nice and gave me a thank you gift when I checked out! The pool at the top was an amazing addition on top, with one of the best views of the mountain and was very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to book!

Amazing! Wonderful! Fantastic! Incredible! For a very small price, we received a premium vacation; this is the best price for the services provided in all my years of traveling! The grounds are beautiful, well-kept, everything is kept clean, the breakfast is good, everything is delicious and there is enough of everything. The staff is very friendly, unobtrusive and at the same time ready to help with any problem. The rooms are clean, the bed is good, and there is everything you need. I spent a long time choosing a hotel, and upon arrival, I looked at the hotels I was choosing from. I made the right choice! You are the best! I'm only worried that at this price, you will have a hard time maintaining such a high standard in the future. I sincerely wish the hotel prosperity and full occupancy all year round. Thank you.
