Reviews: Half-day tour to Cu Chi Tunnel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Ancient war relics tour + optional live shooting experience
Guest User2026-09-09
I skipped the Mekong River tour because it feels like a common part of Southeast Asia, so I went on a program that focused solely on this location, and it was a decent tour. However, due to the poor traffic conditions in Ho Chi Minh City, the time spent in the car is longer than expected, and the quality of the vehicle varies depending on the price you pay. There was no pressure to shop, and it was convenient to stop at convenience stores along the way to buy snacks and drinks.

Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta Full Day Tour (Cu Chi – My Tho – Ben Tre)

Our guide, Fan, was very enthusiastic, running around the whole time guiding everyone and helping to solve any problems we had. If we had any questions, Fan promptly looked up information and provided accurate answers. The Mekong River attractions were rather boring and disorganized, indicating a lack of development and management capabilities; however, this is not the fault of the travel agency or the guide.

Reviews: Mekong Delta Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City with Lunch and Luxury Limousine Options
Guest User2026-10-22
The Mekong Delta is quite a distance from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, about an hour and a half drive. While not particularly bustling, the Mekong River boasts unique scenery and several small islands. A guided tour takes you to these islands to explore the Mekong's distinctive features. One of the most memorable parts of the trip was a small boat ride through the narrow waterways of the Mekong, experiencing the unique lifestyle of the Vietnamese floating villages. Once on the island, you can choose from various activities. We enjoyed local Vietnamese folk music and singing, and sampled local drinks. Lunch was also quite good, very characteristic of Vietnamese cuisine. What I appreciate most is the tour group's meticulous planning. From the initial patient arrangements and reminders of important points to the guide's efficient and well-organized schedule, the entire day's itinerary was comfortable and organized. Although the journey was long, the tour wasn't tiring at all; instead, it left me feeling refreshed.

Reviews: Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City
Guest User2026-11-03
The fact that we were taken to a gift shop without prior notice was a slight negative, but there was no pressure, so I suppose it's unavoidable for a tour. For the shooting experience, I was able to shoot whatever I wanted. Unlike other tours, there were no hidden inflated prices; the price quoted at the reception was accurate. Although I'm not very good at English, I understood about 60%. There was no pressure to communicate, so even those without confidence in their English can participate with peace of mind. We disbanded at Ben Thanh Market before 1:30 PM. The guide also recommended some restaurants, which I appreciated.
