Our guide Harry was excellent, explaining in detail about the Vietnam War and why the tunnels were dug. He was friendly and willing to answer any questions. Although the tunnels were hot and humid, it was still a wonderful experience getting to crawl through them.★

I skipped the Mekong River tour because it feels like a common part of Southeast Asia, so I went on a program that focused solely on this location, and it was a decent tour. However, due to the poor traffic conditions in Ho Chi Minh City, the time spent in the car is longer than expected, and the quality of the vehicle varies depending on the price you pay. There was no pressure to shop, and it was convenient to stop at convenience stores along the way to buy snacks and drinks.★

We took the trip as a couple few days ago. At first I was a bit scared to book considering how few reviews there are so far. But honestly it was absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide (James) was extremely friendly, caring and helped at anything. Also he knew about everything which made it quite interesting for me as a history interested person. The trip itself was very great, the bus was fine, the driving periods didn’t feel too long and in the places James gave a great tour. Also the combination of the tunnels combined with the mountain later on was very good and very well timed. I can surely recommend if you book it to also do the alpine coaster, it might sound scary but honestly it’s extremely chill and not scary at all (and very very easy to use). Also make sure to visit the mountain top as well, felt bad for the people of our group who decided to not go there considering the things there were extremely impressive. Overall a fantastic and memorable trip.★

The description says it includes shooting. In fact, you have to pay an extra 750,000 per person to shoot. The first stop was a tour of shell paintings, with a strong hint: buy some. If they'd done this after the tunnel tour, it would have made some sense. In several places, they openly demanded tips, and in some places, they practically spat when we tossed them the first bill we found. Well, include these tips in the price if you really need them. It's incredibly stressful. Now, about the good stuff. The guide was the best! She explained everything incredibly interestingly and clearly in English, making everything very clear. The island tour and the ride through the banana grove were also very enjoyable. The candy production was interesting to watch, and it was even appropriate to buy some for yourself and your friends. They also sell delicious coconut ice cream there. Overall: I would recommend the tour to friends, but there are some improvements.
