Andrea was an amazing guide. Lots of local and historical knowledge shared. My son and I loved having her as our guide. We asked a lot of questions about Xi’an, the warriors and the temple and she answered all of them happily. I would book with her again.

While in Xi’an, my partner and I wanted to see the Terracotta Army but from our research understood there is minimal English explanations and opted to book a group Tour. This particular tour stood out on Trip.com for its excellent reviews and being affordable. Once booked I was immediately contacted by the tour company giving very clear instructions on where to meet and how to get there, and informing us who our guide would be. We arrived a met our guide Louis who was very approachable, friendly yet professional and extremely knowledgeable. His English was excellent and the ear pieces he provided for the tour were top quality. There were 6 of us in total, but he hosts up to 8 on a tour, still being much smaller than most other tours. He gave us excellent photo opportunities, took group pictures, answered all our questions relating to the Army and wider Xi’an and Chinese history. This was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it to get the best out of your day.

Fantastic tour experience! We had two amazing tour leaders who explained everything clearly and made the history come alive. They were incredibly helpful and even recommended great places to visit in Xi’an. Highly recommended.

I’ve had a very nice day with our guide Andy. He has been a tour guide for 20 years, and that is noticeable. He knows everything about everything. Also had a very nice lunch, prepared by his father at their own home, not far from the Terracotta Army. Takes good care of the group, knows the best spots to take pictures and his English is very good.
