Today's tour, led by Director Lu, was fantastic! He was energetic and very enthusiastic in showing us places to visit; and the time allotted at each place was really ample. Overall, it was a convenient tour of Nara and Uji, including visits to some very important attractions. You absolutely must try the matcha ice cream—it was absolutely delicious!★

We were incredibly lucky that the group of 49 we booked only had 6 people left! Our driver, Mr. Wang Weibing, kept telling us stories about the surrounding areas on the way to Nara and Uji. We could also negotiate the time at each stop, probably because there were so few of us and things weren't as strict. And when we arrived in Uji, we went straight back to our hotel in Tokyo. The driver dropped us off at a nearby station that served direct trains, and he didn't even meet us at the designated meeting point; he just picked us up! Small group, yay! 👏★

The itinerary was leisurely, the Nara deer were adorable, the Togetsukyo Bridge was stunning, and Kinkaku-ji Temple was dazzling with gold. Unfortunately, it was already late when we arrived at Fushimi Inari. The tour was bilingual (English and Chinese) that day, and our guide, Nick, explained everything very diligently, starting in English and then switching to Chinese later. He provided a lot of supplementary information about the attractions, and I highly recommend him!★

I was a bit flustered at first when a foreign guide was assigned, but I felt much more at ease once Korean guide Oh Seok-bong joined us. Thanks to his kind and attentive guidance, I was able to have a comfortable and enjoyable time throughout the trip. We had a fantastic experience on the Kyoto & Nara tour! Everything was well organized and we got to discover so many beautiful and interesting places in one day. Kyoto was absolutely amazing, and the visit to Nara Park where we got to meet the charming deer was truly a highlight! 🦌⛩️ the most fun was feeding them.
An extra big thank you to our guide Shine, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. He made the trip both enjoyable, relaxed and memorable.
