This pass is excellent value as you can include the JR rapid service from the Airport to Osaka which alone cost 1000 yen. Includes free access to Nara, Uji, Kobe, Kyoto. Absolutely recommend.★

After exchanging my currency at Kansai Airport, I took the HARUKA train directly to Shin-Osaka, then transferred to the NOZOMI train to Kokura to begin my journey. From there, I took the Sanyo Shinkansen and limited express trains back to Osaka, making it incredibly cost-effective.
