I highly recommend this trip with Betty as our helpful guide, combining two unique experiences in one day. Lantau Island is serene and rich in buddhist culture with majestic statues and beautiful temples. Tai O fishing village gives a peek into simple local life with small shops, places to eat, and people whose lives revolve around the fishing economy. Definitely take the boat ride in the village, its worth it even if you don't see dolphins. No need to pay extra for the glass floor cable car, the ride is long and the views are spectacular from the regular cars. Betty was such a good guide, she is organized, knowledgeable, very friendly, and funny! Overall great trip for good value.★

The trip was on October 16, 2026. Everything was organized perfectly. Our guide, Bruce, arrived early at the meeting point. We recommend checking your email and WA the day before, as our meeting point was changed the day before the trip. We were prepared for this—we received an email about it in advance. The tour itself was very quick and engaging! The line for the Ngongping was divided into two sections depending on the cabin type. We had a regular cabin without a carpeted floor, so we arrived later than those in the crystal cabins. Next, we went to a fishing village for a boat ride, then to the summit with its monastery and Buddha. The place is very interesting and beautiful, and the trip was educational.
