Reviews: From Edinburgh: "Outlander" Filming Locations Explorer Tour
Guest User2026-10-29
We had an amazing time on the Outlander tour. Big shoutout to our guide Ali! She was so friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself was fantastic, we enjoyed all locations and it really made our entire trip to Scotland. On the way to each location, Ali played music from outlander and told us stories and legends from the highlands, which was brilliant. There was just enough time at each location to see everything and take pictures. It would have been cool to have had an extra 10 mins at each castle, but we understand for the itinerary that wouldn’t work with getting to and from Edinburgh without hitting a load of traffic. At each location we could go and explore on our own and meet Ali back at the mini bus at specific times, which she made really clear. The Outlander tour is so worth the money and more!! Visiting Lallybroch (Midhope castle) was magical. And Culross (Cranesmuir) actually turned out to be my favourite, which I wasn’t expecting! Highly highly recommend this tour!!

Reviews: From Edinburgh: The Outlander Experience Guided Tour
Guest User2026-10-30
We had an amazing time on this tour! Abby shared lots of fascinating facts, not only about the films but also about Scotland in general. Everything was really interesting and engaging. The timing was perfect! We managed to visit all the locations before sunset, and there was enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. We even had a little extra time at Lallybroch, which was a lovely bonus. Highly recommended!

Ally P. was a great funny guide. We had a very good time with him on the scotish roads. The places we visited were nice and Ally has many great stories to tell. We were very happy to see where Outlander was shot and Ally made this day even more special. thank you very much

Reviews: 1-day tour to Scottish Highlands, Glen Coe + Loch Ness with Edinburgh round-trip
Guest User2026-10-31
The A28 highway truly lives up to its reputation; the scenery along the way is breathtaking, and we even saw Scottish cattle. Although it was an English-language tour, there were Chinese customer service representatives available throughout the trip, which was excellent.

Craig was really nice and helpful! Explained so much about Scotland, history, the Highlands and was an open ear for personal concerns. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting the see the Highlands in a single day.
