This itinerary is too long to explore on your own, so a day trip is a good option. One and a half hours each for Shikisai-no-oka and Furano is generally enough; half an hour for the Blue Pond and 20 minutes for Shirahige Falls felt rushed – basically just enough time to climb up, take a few photos, and the time was up.
We took a minibus with the driver, which had 10 seats. The bus was a bit old but quite clean. However, the legroom was limited, making it difficult to stretch out, and the two-and-a-half-hour journey was a bit tiring!
The driver was a steady driver and a nice guy; he was from Northeast China.★

Although the weather wasn't great, with rain all day, it was still pretty good overall.
Although there weren't any particularly stunning landscapes, the trip was quite relaxing and hassle-free.

The tour was conducted in English by a Chinese guide based in Sapporo. We also mistakenly booked an English guide, and while communication wasn't difficult enough, the explanations of the tour locations seemed a bit lacking. However, the guide was cheerful, drove safely, and was kind.★

This plan is a group tour plus a private car. My group had nine people. The driver was very nice and patient. Although he wouldn't participate in the trip, he would still briefly explain the highlights of the current itinerary when we parted. The trip was quite long and suitable for people who want to travel independently but don't want to drive or arrange the itinerary themselves. The quality was very good!★

Three generations of our family participated. It was a little difficult to figure out which of the many buses was our meeting point, but they answered the phone right away. All the participants were on time, and the trip went smoothly. There were no unnecessary stops at souvenir shops, and the explanations given by my companions were excellent. The driver was also very careful. We had a great time.★

This was my first trip to Sapporo, and I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide than Ms. Lee.
Ms. Lee has an incredible service mind and genuinely cares about every guest. She explained every destination clearly and in great detail, and her instructions about meeting points and schedules were always easy to follow, making the entire tour smooth and stress-free.
What impressed me the most was her ability to speak English, Chinese, and Japanese fluently. Her pronunciation was clear, pleasant, and easy to understand, which made the experience enjoyable for everyone, regardless of their native language.
More importantly, Ms. Lee's kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism made the tour feel warm and welcoming rather than just following a schedule. She created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day and made everyone feel comfortable.
I'm truly grateful that my first visit to Sapporo was with Ms. Lee as my guide. She didn't just show us the city—she made the entire experience
