Special thanks to the guide, Ms. Wu Wei, whose vivid explanations helped us better understand the ancient Shu Kingdom's sacrificial culture and better connect the Sanxingdui exhibits with the Classic of Mountains and Seas. A fantastic day trip! The combination of Sanxingdui and the Panda Base was perfect. It was a pure tour including entrance fees, with no hidden costs. The guides at Sanxingdui were professional and attentive, and the artifacts were breathtaking; the pandas at the Panda Base were incredibly cute. This trip to Sanxingdui truly refreshed my understanding of the unity of diversity in Chinese civilization! I was always limited by the traditional historical view of "Central Plains-centric". I especially want to thank Director Du, who accompanied and guided me throughout the trip. He was professional and patient, and he told the mysterious and interesting stories of the ancient Shu civilization behind the Sanxingdui artifacts in a vivid and easy-to-understand way, making the history that was originally separated by time and space come alive and easy to understand, and allowing me to feel the splendid and glorious years of the ancient Shu civilization.
