We had a great day trip with the kids, and our guide, Kim Ji-hye, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There were also a few passengers on the bus from English-speaking groups, so we listened to the tour in both Chinese and English ā quite interesting! Haha š Perhaps because they catered to Chinese tourists, the English explanations about the Korean War were even more detailed.
During the meeting with North Korean defectors, they showed many scenes from movies about North Korean escapes. One defector, an older woman, said she was a North Korean fisherman. When the North Korean government wanted to confiscate their fishing boat, she and her family escaped to South Korea in their boat. Then everyone asked her many questions in English.
Taking photos was prohibited at the observation deck overlooking North Korea š°šµ and at the Third Tunnel. The guide said there was a 30 million won fine for taking photos š Inside the restricted area, South Korean soldiers came up to check passports, and some tourists in our group pulled out their Chinese passports of various colors ā so funny! šā

A very fulfilling day! DMZ exploration + outlet shopping, and the tour guide was professional and attentive! āāāāā
Today I participated in a day tour of the DMZ Demilitarized Zone and Paju Outlet Mall. The experience was fantastic, and I must give our guide, Park, a huge thumbs up! š
š Well-planned itinerary: We departed for the DMZ in the morning, a journey of about 1 hour. The guide explained the important points and background information on the bus, making us very excited for the upcoming Third Tunnel and Dora Observatory. The entire tour lasted about 2.5 hours, which wasn't rushed and allowed us to see all the highlights. In the afternoon, we went to Paju Outlet Mall, and luckily, we caught a big discount event for the Mid-Autumn Festival and the weekend.
š« Professional and meticulous: A special reminder for those planning to go: be sure to bring your original passport! The guide was very responsible, repeatedly emphasizing this before departure, and the on-site verification went smoothly. Because it was a combined ticket (Third Tunnel + Dora Observatory + Imjingak), we didn't need to worry about buying tickets ourselves; we just followed along, which was very convenient.
šāāļø Service Attitude: The tour guide provided explanations throughout the trip and had an excellent service attitude, answering all questions promptly.
In short, this was a very meaningful trip, allowing me to experience the weight of history while enjoying the pleasure of shopping. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip around Seoul!ā

Very good service. It worked very well and have pretty access to every apps without restrictions. The only thing I want to advise is to buy a better plan, like 3GB daily data. I bought 1GB daily data and after exceed this usage the internet was extremely slow, and data was ver important for me because I make payments from bank app and requesting a ride also requires data.ā

The entire tour, from departure to return, took approximately 9.5 hours. Our guide, Owen, was enthusiastic about explaining history, making the visit even more interesting. He even helped me find my way from the observation deck and used binoculars to see Panmunjom, guard posts, and residential areas in North Korea. Furthermore, he provided helpful suggestions regarding lunch, restroom locations, and the best viewing spots. His Mandarin was fluent, and he understood the needs of the tourists. This tour is highly recommended! šā
